This adventure was clearly (as advertised online and explained via telephone by Stacey when booking) as a 2 hour sail. No where did it say it was a booze cruise with drinks, snacks and music or a historical sight seeing tour with detailed narration. The people below clearly don't understand how to do research (which took me less than 5 mins)!!! It was a lovely sail on a beautiful catamaran! The captain and first mate were fun, informative and clearly very passionate about sailing! We sat on the very front to the side of the catamaran and got SOAKED which was so fun! If you like adventure and some nice salt water, sit here and bring a change of clothes to leave on the lower deck. There are plenty of lovely seat where you will not get wet, just ask the captain and first mate where to sit if you're not sure! All in, we were very pleased with our sail and would (and will) 100% use Mad Max adventures again! Thank you!!!!

We went out on the 4 hour trip with our 9 and 13 year old children and my wife. Our first spot was very promising with what looked to be feeding false albacore. After 30 min and no bites, Jarrett dicided to take us all the way to the other side of the island. Quite a trip in a 21 ft boat, but when we got there the black bass action was great. Then we went on to the blues and the kids had the time of thier life. Huge bluefish and everyone got some great fish to land. Jarrett knew what to do, and when to do it. We left alot of boats behind looking for those albies, and no one near us in the spot where we hit all the fish. The fam will be back next year!

Boat was clean and well run. Two of us fished at a time and the captain did all of the work. As a mixed group of beginners to experienced fishermen I would have liked a little more hands-off time. More communication as to the plan, methods, and types of fish we would be going after would have been nice. When we reached the fishing ground the captain put the rod in our hands and said here you go! Six of us on the boat was a bit cramped at times but not too bad. Seas wound up being 5-10 feet and trolling in those conditions can be uncomfortable.
