I gave them a call for take out & it was quick & easy. They are in a central location, beside the Pumphouse in Moncton. The setting was lovely & I would not hesitate to take friends, a date or family here! It was ideal as I was staying across the street at the Marriott & I will call again when I'm in town. I requested seafood curry with rice noodles which, not being on the menu, was accommodated with ease. I also had a shrimp salad role order. The salad role was lettuce heavy in my opinion & the sauce was a bit sweet, but I would definitely order again! The curry had lovely flavour & the seafood was fresh & not skimpy. My husband and I were on vacation in Moncton and had lunch at Saigon Thai. We ordered from the lunch menu and we both had the chicken skewer plate (I think it was option B). It came with a soup (choice of Wonton or Tonkinese soup - we had the Wonton), an imperial roll, noodles, a "salad" and a chicken skewer. Now I put "salad" in quotes, because the menu listed that it came with a "salad", but the "salad" turned out to be 2 pieces of iceberg lettuce, 2 pieces of carrot and 2 pieces of cucumber. A very sorry excuse for a salad in my opinion. The Wonton Soup was ok. Three small wontons in broth with some fried onion pieces (a nice touch). The imperial roll was good. It was made in the true Vietnamese style using rice paper as the wrapper (as opposed to spring roll paper as the wrapper). The noodles were rice noodles similar to those used in Pad Thai. They were fried with soy sauce, eggs, onions and lots of bean sprouts (I'm not a fan of bean sprouts, but if you are, you may like this). The chicken skewer was made of white meat (yay!) but was very salty (boo!). The price for the Lunch Special was $10.50. Quite reasonable, but be warned that portions are small. Good for a light lunch, but not if you're really hungry. The service was good. We came right at 11:30am and were the first people in the restaurant, so service was quick and efficient. They are closed on Mondays. read more

Fun interior and friendly waitresses. However after over 20 minutes waiting instead of getting my food I was informed my order was made incorrectly and would be remade. Tired of sitting there in the dimly lit room with nothing to do I opted to just leave instead. Oh well. I had been looking forward to trying a seafood dish here. read more

Our Moncton food adventures continue with yet another great find... On the menu this evening, Imperial rolls, BBQ Banh Dap and Tonkinese soup... all of whiche were phenomenal... for mains, the 3 of us shared the Pad Thai, Cashew Nut Chicken and Thai Chicken Curry with steamed rice. The food tasted great but portions were a bit small for my liking. If you're planing on sharing, I would definitely go for 1 dish/person rather than the typical 3 per 4 ratio.... All in all this was a great little spot. Prices are good, The service was quick, décor was nice... and the ginormous snifter with a gold fish in it is pretty cool!! Poor service .. Do not visit this place on St. Valentine's day kind of ocasion. They are NOT prepared to serve 14-15 tables. Me my wife and my son we made a reservation on February 14 Th 2014 for St Valentine's day occation. It was 7 p.m reservation. we had to wait for the waiter for 25 minutes!! to take our orders. She was trying to do her best but it is not nice to have your dinner with dirty tables around, not enough service provided restaurant. read more

Beautiful interior decorating and very hot food. I went there for lunch on a typical wednesday, and the dining room was 90% full. We were fortunate to have reserved a table or maybe we wouldn't be able to enjoy the food in our short stay in Moncton. The environment is very beautiful. Especially with the Thai decorations. Service was great, the waitresses were very friendly and suggested their famous dishes to us. Their a/c was great for the summer hot days. We ordered the Crispy noodles, a lunch special B, and a Pho'. All came in very hot and very big portion. Totally worth the money. Liked the Pho' a lot. Will visit again. read more

It's ok I suppose. I am used to a lot of very good authentic pho restaurants in Denver. This place doesn't give you sprouts, basil, and lime like most places. When I asked for some they said they don't have any... Excuse me what kind of Thai/Vietnamese restaurant doesn't have a few sprigs of basil and a lime in the back? Wierd. Also they put sirichi and the hoisin sauce in a big clump in the middle of the bowl of soup. I like it separate from the soup. Just me though. I wouldn't try it again. read more

We love this place. Great food! Good service. Friendly. Small-ish restaurant so never crowded and noisy. The only time we had slow service was during Valentines Day... we went unaware of the date. The server apologized several times for the service and gave us a free appetizer. Definitely a favourite spot. read more

Tried the Thai Curry Chicken, Cashew Nut Beef, and Wonton Soup, all of which were extremely tasty and well-prepared. The wontons were hand-made and much better than any other I tasted. Decor and atmosphere were serene and very welcoming. Would definitely love to come back again! read more
