KL chicken rice
Jane F.

Great break from seafood with a little spice. The roti chani was very authentic. Love the chicken rice. The rice was flavored nicely with stock. The chicken pieces went so well with the flavored rice with scallions and a little hot sauce. This is the closest Malaysian flavor than the usual Chinese influenced dishes in NYC Chinatown. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant looked new inside. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

Appetizer! Mmmmm

I don't give out 5 star reviews freely but this establishment deserves each star for decor, service, cleanliness and quality of food! We are on our way to Newfoundland so staying the night in Moncton to break up the drive. We decided on this spot for dinner. From our appetizer to our main courses Cinta Ria pleased our palates. Soooooo good! I highly recommend.

A simple yet sophisticated ambiance, like the modern Scandinavian minimalist with clean, fresh, crisp wooden designer chairs and shiny tables paired with knowledgeable staff and excellent food. I chose the Roti Canai (India's staple food), an appetizer size curry tofu Laksa (soup) and chicken satay (skewers) as a quick dinner after a long day's work. Highly impressed with the bright layout, quick service and ample parking. Situated right in Downtown Moncton where all the hustle and bustle is but tucked away in a smaller alleyway just off of Main Street. A great place to take a date or book a full party table for all you Malay inspired fusion Asian lunch or supper foodie friends and family! Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options to choose from and variety of spicy levels and flavours! Only took 1 star off because they did not have the Malay national favourite Nasi Lemak! PS. They have a full bar menu and delicious desserts!

Beef Rendang

I had a Malaysian friend back in Vancouver whose parent's used to make us Beef Rendang growing up as teenagers. The Beef Rendang at this restaurant is identical to the stuff his parents made, this place is 100% authentic. Spot on real Malaysian food.

Was surprised to find Malaysian food in Moncton. Flavours were great and everything tasted authentic. We got the laksa and the CKT. The laksa had great flavour and the noodles were a good combo. The CKT had great flavour as well but I found the noodles were a little stale (like it was precooked and reheated). Still tasted great other than that. Definitely worth it if you're in town and want to have some authentic tasting Malaysian food.

I never had Malaysian food before. I ordered the soup and it was the most delicious soup I ever had!! It was a bit spicy but with a unique taste that I can't describe! I will be back to try more of this delicious food! Oh and great service!!

Curry laksa, char kway teow, Kuala Lumpur chicken rice, and curry chicken

We visited from Toronto and I am surprised I was able to find authentic (and good) Malaysian food in Moncton! We had the char kway teow, the curry laksa, the chicken curry, and the Kuala Lumpur chicken. I was impressed by most dishes. I was especially impressed by the CKT as it arrived steaming hot, straight out from the wok. The curry was nice and was creamy and sweet from the coconut milk. The laksa is good if you like noodles in your curry. I really liked the rice in the KL chicken as it was really nutty. I feel the value could have been improved (comparing from Toronto), though I am not sure if it's an Atlantic Canada thing. Portions could have been upped for those prices. That being said, I'll give them the benefit of doubt; the food comes first and they definitely serve up good food here!

Mee Goreng Mamak- the flavour is a mix of smoky sweet and I make my spicy but you can choose no or little spice (my go to meal)

This is my favourite restaurant in Moncton - if you are looking for a unique meal, lots of flavour and variety this is the place - authentic Malaysian food plus a fusion with other food. My go to meal is Mee Goreng Mamak (savoury noodles, sprouts etc I get it with chicken) hubby gets the stir fry and we also now really like the Satay Wonton Nachos- very unique flavours

Mie goreng with chicken

Best Malaysian meal in Atlantic and even in Ontario! We ordered all the specialties: pandan chicken, shrimp laksa, beef rendang, tamarind shrimp, char siu noodles, mie goreng with chicken. Everything was distinct in their flavours and authentic to what I had expected without spicier than most non Malaysians or Southeast Asians can handle. Even the kids ate their fill and they were happy to try different foods. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cheerful atmosphere and classy yet cozy. Tried also a Malaysian white coffee. Aromatic and tasty. Made with condensed milk so make sure you want a sweet coffee if you order it.

This is one of my favourite places to eat food-wise. I absolutely loved the butter chicken that I tried here and I would definitely recommend that dish. The pricing at this restaurant is quite cheap and you get a nice amount of food. The staff is very friendly but it takes a little longer until they will help you and/or serve your food at this place. Not extremely long but a little longer than I'm used to. Apart from that, i would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great food and service. The protein portion sizes could be slightly larger but overall very tasty.

Had the beef rendang. It was very good. Portion could have been slightly larger but for the money it is reasonable.

Great and attentive service…read more Calm atmosphere a d decor with soft music in the back ground. Has a patio for nice day to sit outside. Parking in the rear. Sashimi platter is good. Fish were soft. Gets 3 pieces of salmon, tuna, and another fish I can't tell. Pink sushi was deep fried with mayo drizzled on top. Delicious. Smokey crab roll has a hint of spiciness (not too bad, since I don't eat spicy food and I can handle it). There is lots of shredded crab meat on top of the roll. Seafood soup was mediocre. 3 pieces of clams, 1 shrimp, 2 squid pieces, lots of onion, and none impressive soup flavour. Best to stick with the complimentary miso soup.

Went for dinner at 7pm on a Thursday night. One table had parents, a baby, and grandparents, the…read moreother table had two little old ladies. That was it. Later, four couples arrived and took up two tables. Nice quiet ambience. I sat under the air conditioner and read for two hours. I ordered the Beef Teriyaki Pink Bento box. They had a number of Bento boxes on offer, unfortunately, they were only available for lunch. I hope the restaurant begins to offer more Bento Boxes at dinner. The salad and soup seemed small by American size standards, but they were very tasty. You could either get 8 pieces of sashimi or a classic roll. I got a California Roll. The food was tasty and the portions were good. The Miso soup was quite toothsome. I even ordered another one after dinner. You also got ice cream as a dessert, which is not typical with a Bento box, but I demurred. Overall, good food and a nice quiet ambience.
