Initially, I chose them only because they found me the lowest cost for all my insurance policies combined (through Mercury). I had shopped around a lot - Geico, Progressive, AAA, AllState, StateFarm, Travelers, etc. They moved very fast, when I called close to their closing time, because I needed to have my home insurance active the next day for mortgage underwriting. Insurance premiums vary for everyone and they are not going to be the cheapest for everyone. But, I would happily remain with them even if the companies they represent happen to be slightly more expensive, because they really understand insurance products and can explain every fine print to me (like "nonbuilding structures" coverage). I have not found such knowledgeable answers in any other insurance office. This appears to be a family business that has been around for decades. So you are not talking to someone who has been on the job for a few months and is reading off the insurance marketing materials. Communication, over phone and email, are excellent. However, the companies they represent have barebones online account access. I don't think you can get online quotes. That's why they have insurance agencies like this one to represent them. It is a bit of a work to get the insurance policy going - have to fax or mail things over. But, once the policies are setup, renewal is easy.

I was referred to Tony a few months ago when I was in contract for my client on another home…read more Unfortunately we didn't get to work together at the time because my client decided to back out. Fast forward few months later, my clients needed insurance asap on a house that we submitted an offer for. Because of what's been happening in the insurance industry, it's always been a best practice of mine to get an insurance quote for my clients before going into contract. After going through my usual insurance person, all his carrier denied coverage for my clients due to 2 past claims on his rentals. I was in panic mode because were very close to getting our offer accepted but I needed to make sure my clients can get coverage otherwise going into contract and back out later would be a waste of time for everyone. At 8 something PM I contacted Tony hoping he can help my clients find even one carrier to approve. Tony was super responsive and quickly helped me right away. Mind you this is almost 9pm and he was up helping me find a carrier that would write a policy for my client. Put of the 10 carriers that he searched, 1 of them gave a 90% approval but we wouldn't know 100% until the next morning. The next morning I texted Tony super early asking him for updates. The carrier wanted to ask additional questions about the previous claims filed by my clients. After about an hour he came back with a 100% approval when my go to guy didn't have anyone that would write. I also contacted another insurance agent that was referred to me by my preferred lender partner and he didn't even try to run a quote and outright denied helping because to him, my clients filed to many claims in the past so he knows "for sure" that no one would insure him. Well, TONY PROVED YOU WRONG! When you work hard for your clients, anything is possible.
