My stylist told me what to get! Conversation was very pleasant & fun (we watched Family Feud!). The shop was clean, mobile pymt accepted & my stylist was very nice & understanding! I'm "tender-headed," & it wasn't an issue. If something felt tight, my stylist fixed it & would ask if it was better & would continue to work on the area until I said it was! (ALL brain matter remained in my brain!) I slept w/my head on my pillow & not hanging over the side of my bed! Yes, I'll be back! From Decatur-2-Jonesboro Thank you so much for listening to me!

BEWARE OF THIS SHOP! I wished I had read the previous reviews before patronizing this braid shop…read more Two weeks before getting my hair done at this shop, I stopped by to ask how much it would cost to do cornrows like the existing hair style I had at the time. She quoted me $150 which I was willing to pay. When I did go to get my hair done on a Sunday, the lady said I owed her $200 when she finished my hair. I was shocked! How are you going to go up in 2 weeks by 33 percent? And why was the cost not quoted before doing my hair? I did not want to argue with the lady so I gave her $180 and told her that I would never sat foot in this shop again. She got an extra $30 out of me but she lost a customer. The cornrows were not as nice as I have had done by other hair braider so that is another reason why I will not go back. There are too many African braid shops in Atlanta especially on Candler Road. I would say pass on this one!

I give a three because I liked how my color came out THATS ALL! I moved to the McDonough area and…read morehave had a hard time finding a salon because my ombré always came out orange, not this time. Love the outcome but the process was terrifying. My stylist Kayla very sweet person and friendly but her technique could use some improvement. To begin I didn't like how messy she was while applying the color to my roots there was dye all over the salon wall when we finished. Then at the wash station no massage as stated on their website, in fact it had to be the worst part because of her heavy handedness. She super rough. This process is suppose to be relaxing where you fall asleep but it was the opposite. I even mentioned she was lucky I wasn't tender headed because the way she was separating my hair was even painful. After the wash again we go with the rough hair drying I'm surprised my head is still in tact considering all the quickness to dry my hair and quickly passing her fingers through my hair. Finally the COST! Goodness I've never paid over 200.00 for my hair. I almost thought I was in Buckhead. Their website states 128.00 and UP. Yea I get the up part but not over 200.00! I was told I was paying for each toner that was used, but I'm no stylist but that automatically comes with the ombré procedure shouldn't be extra. Only to come home to color on my face and clothes. Again I'm satisfied with the ombré outcome but the entire process is what is disturbing for the ridiculous amount that was charged. The website should be updated and also mention that each stylist has their own charges. With the mislead from the website and torture I experienced physically and financially I'm back on the hunt for a hair salon.

I wouldn't recommend coming here for anything other than braids. They claim to offer other…read moreservices, but based on my experience, they are not good at them. I went in for a loc retwist, which they said they could do with no problem. It took 3 hours, and when they were finished, there was essentially no retwist. The roots were still the same, and there were no parts in my hair. After I explained that the service wasn't done correctly, they had someone else redo it. That took another hour, bringing the total to 4 hours for a wash, retwist, and style. And after all of that, they still tried to charge me an extra $10 at the end. Overall, very disappointing experience. If you're looking for a loc retwist, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.

On the day of my appointment I received a text message requesting that I wash and blow dry my hair prior to going in, because salon is very busy. I informed her that my appointment IS for a wash and trim. She stated that she does not have time to do a full wash because my appointment is only for 15 minutes. Just to note, when you book your appointment the system unlike others that I've used before does not tell you the amount of time allotted for your appointment. This would have been my THIRD time at this salon(I only go to salons for trims but wanted the full experience this time). I canceled my appointment, and needless to say I WOULD NEVER return.

Yesterday I got my hair done. I got the Hydrating Silk Thermal Press $70 and a trim $10 (normally…read more$20....which makes me wonder how much a full cut costs...?) Kween (my stylists) a great job "splitting my wig"!!!! The salon was clean. The staff was polite. They each seemed very knowledgeable in their craft. But there were some things that overshadowed the visit. The system to set an appointment is already not user friendly. It is in a site with hundreds of other salons and at times it was difficult navigating to get to the chosen salon. It was easier to go to the email sent and get to the salon from there. Once you've selected they style, chosen your stylist and come to grips with the rather high prices, you confirm the appointment. You will get an email confirmation. This has a list of ALL the rules of the salon. And there are a ton of them. You can't bring your kid(s). And if you cancel they charge $50. Which is insane for a single parent like myself. Moving on... During my appointment, it was revealed to me that my mothers appointment for 6am the next morning was canceled without her knowledge. Apparently, the confirmation email and accepting the appointment isn't sufficient. One must also confirm. You get a confirmation email 24hrs after accepting your appointment. And if you do not confirm, the owner goes into the system and deletes your appointment. A first time client wouldn't know that. And it's horrible business practice. Especially when someone needs to get their hair done. And now your appointment which was scheduled days in advance is canceled. If someone is like me or my mother, you don't always have the time to check your email. And you receive like 5 between the time you set the appointment and your arrival. Again. The young lady was very good at what she did. My hair is soft and well trimmed. A bit straighter than I care for...I like straight but full. But overall...she did Grade A work. But, how the owner treated my mothers appointment...This will ensure two lose two customers.
