I have been shopping at the Morrow Beauty Master location on and off for a decade plus. There is plenty of free parking in their lot and the store is not too far from Southlake mall although in it's own private lot. They always have what I need whether it is natural hair products for my type 4 hair or extensions when I was wearing sew ins and braids. Lately, prices have increased for the beauty products I use, but I still find better pricing on products such as Design Essentials & Mizzani here versus other beauty stores. I also like how they mark down products that are being discontinued or just ceased for selling at their location. When compared to other beauty supply stores, their pricing is the best and I still tend to come out my way to come to this location even though it is not the closest one to me. read more

We visited this store to purchase micro locs extension hair. There was a sale sign above the product for $6.99; we went to the register and it rang up $13.99. The cashier asked us to show her the sale price which we did. She called the supervisor who acknowledged it and called the manager. Instead of honoring the price for us, the customer, The AFRICAN manager attempted to say that the sign was placed their erroneously...so we asked to show us the product that matched the advertisement- to which he claimed was discontinued. So we asked was he going to honor the price for us since we brought it to his attention ... this fool stated that WE or another customer must have put it there... THE SALE SIGN THAT WAS IDENTICAL TO EVERY OTHER SALE SIGN in the store. Needless to say, we left and will never patronize this establishment again. When something like this happens, you satisfy the customer who brought it to your attention and then make adjustments. You don't BLAME the customers for your obvious oversight! We always speak of others mistreating us in our communities, but we do it too!! But not to me, because I will write a review and never visit your establishment again... and that's on God!! read more

No return policy visibly or openly stated in the clothing section. Unable to try on anything in store. Employees do NOT let it be known there are no refunds even when I asked and was specifically told by a young black girl with an accent that within 7 days it could be returned and refunded or I wouldn't have purchased it. The outfit was too short, I mean high-waters short, I come back to be told I'm ONLY able to receive store credit or replace it. AND it can not be a clearance item or "black" because the made up rules they had says you "can't return black clothes" another instance of the Asian community in black spaces and unable to accommodate the people that keep them in business. I have no choice but to find something to use the money on but I will not come back once I have. They are never the first option i just so happened to see them as i was leaving the Mall. Today I went to this store i had a very unpleasant experience with manager and his assistant manager I was in store 1/5:24 bought something's i return today to return an item I was told no refunds only store credit but I must have an account. I have been coming to this spot since my college years. This place resembles the Sam's club for cosmetic hair and skin care needs. I don't know the exact number, but it seems like they have 10,000 wigs to choose from. To me, there's nothing I can't find in this store. I do believe this place even sells clothes. I have occasionally purchased their hats and gloves during the holidays. This is a my go to spot for any hair care products, synthetic hair for protective styles, and so much more. 5/5 in my book! read more

This place has EVERYTHING but because they know they do, some of the items are overpriced. For the most part, the prices are really good. You can easily find yourself looking around and picking up more stuff like, "Oh wow! I've been looking for this!" All types of shampoos, wigs, weaves, hair oils, accessories. I stumbled upon Beauty Master because I wanted to get some inexpensive but cute costume jewelry for an upcoming event. Let me just tell you that the beauty supply store is waaayyyy more than cheap jewelry, cheap make-up and a few hair products...The store itself is HUGE and sectioned off very nicely. Even the jewelry area has the distinction of less expensive jewelry, to moderately priced jewelry to the more expensive cosmetic fare. I have also been wearing scarves (head) as a part of my hairstyle and I was able to purchase 4 for about $20...Mind you, these are the same scarves that are online at Amazon for $16 a piece. I also judge beauty supply stores based on the amount of quality cosmetics section and this one has all the main ones- NYX is the one that I really look for. Today I walked around for 10 mins without anyone saying a word . 3 ladies were working but none acknowledged me. They just continued talking as if they didn't see someone shopping . It was kind of upsetting because I made a selection quickly. After another ten minutes I approached one of the ladies and asked for help. I work in the service industry speaking to a customer when you see the is important. I will say the check out process was better . The young lady was polite. Having just moved to the area a few months ago this was my first visit to Beauty Wax Center. My eyebrows were in need of waxing and I chose this place because the great reviews on Yelp! I walked in the other no appointment and was signed in writhing seconds of being greeted. Within a few minutes I was in the room with Dayse who was kind and professional. I absolutely love coming here for all of my beauty needs. It is quite a drive for me, because i live in Gwinnett, but it is well worth it. I am a product junkie, and I always find what I'm looking for when I come here. They are always well stocked, and the staff is very helpful. If you need help with wigs or weave, i would not go on the weekend because it may be a challenge to get someone to help you. It doesn't seem to matter how many people they have working, it's never enough on the weekends. Their collection of hair is phenomenal and the wig and lace front collection is very reasonably priced. I go there mostly for my lashes. There is an ENTIRE AISLE of lashes!!! I have never seen quite an extensive selection of lashes anywhere. The parking is very accommodating. I've never had any issues with parking. The lot is very big, so there is never a problem parking up close to the door. You can expect to stand in line for a while, they are always crowded. I go mostly during the day, so there are less people there, but there is always a line, even with all registers open. They are just that busy. I think there is also a beauty salon in there, but i haven't gone over there to investigate. I just saw the sign from the line. The make-up aisle is pretty big as well. They have great eye shadows and lip sticks. Everything you need in one place. I go at least twice a month to get everything i need. This is definitely a one stop shop. read more

This store is absolutely terrible, I walked in, and started looking in a case with about six other (non black) people, I was the only person stopped and asked to go through my purse, if your store is that concerned with loss prevention upon entry to the store every person should be searched, and one black customer should not be singled out, completely disgusting and on top of the blatant up charging for basic beauty supplies this experience is away the top of my list of reasons I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE ANY BEAUTY MASTER EVER AGAIN. The prices are competitive and what they don't have, they can get-Trust. I shop here during non-peak times..meaning NOT the 1st of the month when the girls get their checks or that entire week, NOT on Fridays or Saturday ever, and not after 4pm when folks get off work. This is one of the biggest beauty supply stores I've ever been in. They have EVERYTHING. Seriously, they have the typical things, hair products, makeup, wigs, etc. and they have things you wouldn't expect to find, like tampons. Now I must say, beauty master is my go to beauty supply store or was I should say. On the door it says they close at 8:30 so you can imagine my disappointment when I drive all the way from kennesaw to this location and have the door be locked in my face at 8:16pm. I sat in my car to see if others would be turned away as well and sure enough 8 more customers came and where turned away before 8:30 even came. Now either you close at 8:30 which is the time that is displayed on your door or change the time that's on the door because that is false information. I understand workers are trying to get home at a reasonable time but I also understand that this is a business and should act accordingly by following the times. If you wouldn't open 15 minutes earlier , why close 15 minutes earlier. It's beyond me but my money won't be spent here any longer. Period. read more

Visited this store today with my sister and experienced racial profiling in the wig department. While browsing through the various overpriced wigs, I was followed by a young Asian woman who stared at me the entire time like she was concerned I'd take something before running up on me nearly inches from my face to ask multiple times if she could assist me. First of all, COVID. There's no reason you should be that close to me. Secondly, her tone wasn't helpful, but instead demanding and suspicious. When I refused her assistance, she stood at the top of the aisle and watched me like a hawk as I shopped. I've never felt so turned off about purchasing from an establishment. I frequently spend large amounts of money on beauty products, but I won't EVER EVER purchase from a beauty master because this was my first and last experience there. I recently purchased an advertised as human lace front curly wig. After wearing the unit one day it had no curls and the hair was stringy behaving like non human hair. When I called the store the young lady told me to come back, only to speak with an African male who proceeded to tell me to contact the manufacturer. I went to this store on 03.05.17 at around 2pm. I purchased over $100.00 worth of products, as I normally do at this beauty store. This particular time, one of the products I bought was a tote bag. My cashier was Shay. She put my other products in a bag and said that they had no bag big enough for my tote. This bag was going to be used as a gift. I didn't want to just throw it in my trunk. I asked her, if she could at least put the bag into a garbage bag. She seemed bothered to look for one. She said that there were no garbage bags available and that only the "cleaning" employees had a trash bag. I reminded her that I was spending over $100.00 and that at the very least if she could ask a manager for a garbage bag. She went and came back sounding irritated and said that her manager (tall young lady with long black hair) said that I cannot have a bag. I was so disappointed!! Employees at this store seem so incompetent! It's just common courtesy that you would show the ability to handle conflict resolution issues. There's no "managerial" presence at this store. I am a regular at hair care stores. I tried to let go of the negative feelings I had from my visit there this past Saturday, but I have not been able to let go of how vexing the women were in the wig department. One thing I don't appreciate is pushy, hovering strangers. I selected a few wigs to try on in the mirror and one of the women followed me and would not let me try the wigs on in peace. She fully understood me when I said I would NOT like asssistance, but perhaps new policg, she took the wig off the manican head and assisted me trying on. She kept touching my natural on my neck and combing the hair without giving me space. She was chewing-popping an old piece of gum beside my ear and behind my head, BUT her breath still smelled foul On top of that, she said to me early on "oh you came back to try this one on again".... I said nah, I havent been here trying on ANY wigs earlier, or even at the store....... At that moment I guess we all look like I was so turned off by her hovering, and giving me bogus feedback about each style I tried on. She was saying things like "oh I know you like to look sleak and classy".... You don't me from another black woman who was at the store earlier in the day, so how do you know that????? She then says I will be right back, and within 20 seconds she returned with a higher priced wig she thought I would look better in. No maam!! You will not be suggestively selling me some expensive plastic hair that I didn't ask for! My final straw was when I politely said to her "I'm going to pass on these, but thank you"... This woman had nerve to take the wig from my hand in SILENCE for the first time in all of that 10 minute try on. She walks around to the other side of the station where another hoverer was standing by another customer trying on wigs. She said something in a language I did not understand, but I heard the dialect word for "customer". I then saw her covertly gesture my way with that last B.S wig being stroked in her hand. The other woman she was talkig to proceeded to lean back, arms folded, and mugged me (stared me down)..... That let me know whatever she just said was in reference to me!
