Honestly a fantastic Bahn mi shop. The menu is limited to Vietnamese subs bit they do it right! Quality over quantity, my friends. They are serving some of the freshest bread and authentic ingredients in Calgary. Must try!

BBQ pork sub. Worth the drive all the way from Killarney. My favourite sub place in Calgary!!

Best viet sub in the city. I have tried many subs and this one is the best. Super soft and toasty bun and awesome value for what you get. Since its a long drive for me to get a sub I usually order 2 and take one home. It's cash only so make sure you have some when you go there. The BBQ pork is my favourite and totally recommend it!

A decent Vietnamese sub joint, the best part about this venue is the pricing. Many of their submarines including chicken, beef and pork can be had for $5 including tax, and their veggie sub is about $3.50. I usually get their chicken sub whenever I'm in the area, and while tasty, it is a bit on the high side when it comes to salt. But for $5, I can't complain too much and every joint makes their food a little bit different anyways. There isn't much in the way of seating though, so it's really a take-and-go type place rather than a sit-down place. My favorite part about the location is that it's next to a bunch of other small shops in the same strip mall, so mixing and matching a custom lunch for under $10 is super simple. Recommended.

Best Vietnamese subs in the city. Favourites are the regular meat sub and the beef sate. This place is cash only.

The bread was light and crackled when I bit into it. The meats had a nice chew to it. The pate was thick and smooth. The vegetables were fresh and unpickled. I didn't find the jalapeño spicy. The heat level was mild and the pepper was juicy and crunchy like a green pepper. The sate beef sub is as good or even better than the cold cut. I liked how the satay sauce mingled in with the yellow butter. The addition of peanuts added a little of woodiness to the sub. I enjoyed the black pepper because it added a surprisingly sharp note. In my books, Banh Mi Nhu ties with Saigon Deli. I thought the bread at Banh Mi Nhu was lighter and Saigon Deli's was chewier. The pate at Banh Mi Nhu was creamier and not as metallic. The meats at Saigon Deli had a rougher texture. Banh Mi Nhu is more generous with the butter/mayonnaise and pate than Saigon Deli. What I love about both stores is that you can tell the pate and mayonnaise is homemade, which gives it a totally deeper flavour profile than more processed spreads.

There were a myriad of choices to be made, but I opted for the regular cold cuts and my friend opted for the one with the saucy beef. Now this is how you make a sandwich! There's such a thrill in finding incredible local eats. I'm…read morenot usually a big sandwich person, but a good foodie friend of mine said they heard the hype about Scozzafava's so I went along. No regrets. If you didn't know about this spot, you might easily pass by without a second glance. Scozzafava's serves up authentic, classic Italian sandwiches that just slap. They use a soft sesame seed bun, which probably is the most unique part of the sandwich. For their marinara sandwiches, I wish they used a thicker bun to better absorb all the sauce. The sesame bun didn't keep its integrity, sadly. The meatball marinara was glorious! Slightly spicy, super moist meatballs, slightly sweet marinara, and perfectly paired with bitterness of the rapini. Don't forget the cheese pull! We also grabbed the classic Italian deli, which was scrumptious and very filling. You can't go wrong with either option, in my opinion.

We came to the store to order. and you know the service is top notch. The owner is very friendly and there is a warm ambiance about the place. On to the food, My brother order a chicken parm subs and say his sub was excellent as always. I ended up getting two subs. One was the meatball sub which was exceptional. The meatballs were well seasoned and were larger than my mom made when she was alive. the buns were toasted to perfection crunchy but not burnt. They had just enough sauce and cheese to compliment the sub but not overpower it . i also got a turkey pesto sub which had a lot of meat and cheese. This was very good and if i come back to Calgary i will definitely come back.

What a great find!…read more We enjoyed the beet salad 10/10, beet chips 7/10, the ranch burger 8/10 , the spicy mushroom mozza burger 10/10, and the Mr. chicken panino 10/10! The service was prompt, kind and the manager made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.

What a lovely sweet find along 10 Ave! Was in the area for medical travel and found this burger…read morespot across from MEC. The ranch burger and milkshake would of been more than enough for me (as that was a very hefty burger!) but also tried their smash browns (big potato chunks crisped up and super delicious enough to take home the remainder). I really liked the layout and lighting in the restaurant but as an added bonus, there is also a patio out back (I think you still need to go inside to order at the counter though) and free 3 hr parking for those eating there. I didn't realize about the parking until after I was done my appointment (that would of saved me from struggling with paying for parking on an old iphone that doesn't like indigo QR links...). So now I know for next trip to Calgary this is the spot to stop. Also, just an extra nod to the the two working (I believe they both were owners). Super friendly, will chat or leave you to enjoy your meal and really went the extra step with bringing out the good hot sauce and ketchup even before the meal was ready.
