This was my first time having the sate beef version (which seem to be popular here) and I was so pleasantly surprised. It was a little bit spicy with more complex flavors. A great switch for the usual pho. Although, I can see that it can get a little much after a few bites. The Vietnamese coffee was also one of the best I've had. We ordered the dumplings which are very light (not doughy) and the dipping sauce flavorful. These were not too filling for an appetizer. For dinner I had the beef sate soup - the BEST. And my husband had the vermicelli dish with pork, chicken, beef and really liked it. The service was very good, the food came out quickly even though it was busy.
