One of the things I was most impressed with about Josh was that he says what he's going to do and then he does it. He arrived at my house on time and looking sharp. The presentation he made was straightforward and convincing. I had a 401(k) account with a previous employer that Josh worked with me to rollover to a Traditional IRA. Now my money is being watched by someone who is conscious of my goals and lifestyle. It felt great to be involved in the decision-making process. I'm confident my nest egg is secure. One thing I had never considered was the tax-diversification benefits of cash value life insurance and the other benefits of term insurance. We were able to find the right balance of each for my situation. Josh represents himself and his company, New York Life, very well.

Each member of Sharon's team is great but, Kelly Grainger is exceptional!…read more Sharon Godfrey was my State Farm agent for about 2 years after relocating to the DMV from the NYC area. Honestly, I have never met Sharon in-person, only members of her team at the office in McLean. Throughout my tenure with her shop I mainly interacted with Kelly. Whenever I had a question about my policy (e.g. rate changes, coverage packages, and etc.) Kelly was always on top of it. So, when I purchased my first home in the area, I went to Kelly to see what State Farm could offer by bundling my auto and home insurance. Kelly and I worked on a dozen or so scenarios, but each quote was still more expensive than competitors. It soon became clear that we would have to part ways. Kelly knew it too. He leveled with me and said, "We know the value of money. And if you're not going to be with us, then you should know what to look for in a home insurance policy." Kelly coached me on how to find the best policy elsewhere, citing how other insurers do business. When I eventually cancelled my policy with State Farm, Kelly called me to make sure I got my refund on the remaining balance of my policy. When that got lost in the mail, he got the refund check resent. A personable, considerate and empathic guy, emblematic of my time with Sharon Godfery's team. I wish them all the best.
