Copy of my cancellation email to the owner…read more After my bridal trial on Saturday with Sam I would like to cancel your companies services for my wedding scheduled for 7/9/2022. Before even signing our contract, I expressed how my hair can be difficult to work with and I was assured it would not be a problem. I even asked for recommendations for extensions to help my hair hold a curl. Clearly none of those concerns and information were passed to the stylist prior to my trial. She was unaware of me using extensions. She also stated I should've washed my extensions before hand which had I been told, I would've done so. Also she said I should've came with day 2 hair from washing which I also would've done if that information was provided to me. Same also stated I needed special clips for the halo extensions which did not come with them, I even ordered from 'hidden crown' as that was the website you suggested to me. When my hair was finished I was at a loss of words as it did not look like anything I had envisioned. She ensured it would much different the day of the wedding. But I didn't not feel confident that it would look like anything I had envisioned. While driving my hour back home I felt scratching and tugging under my hair. I found 8 clips that were left in from my hair being curled.. when I messaged Sam she ensured she would do a more thorough look the day of... and also kind of laughed the over sight off.. the extensions also fell out on my ride home.. which apparently is because I didn't have clips but the website does not even sell these clips that Sam showed me so I'm confused as why I needed them. Sam was very nice but I will say it is a turn off to hear other stylists in your salon shit talk and joke about clients while there are clients in the salon. In any work place those conversations happen, I work with criminals and customers at my second job. However there is a time and place, and to do it in front of other clients is not appropriate. I can clearly tell Sam is just out of school based from her Instagram, and it does not look like she's had much hair experience outside of school. I would assume for a company that has and advertises how well they are they would not have stylist right out of school doing bridal hair, especially when a bride expresses concerns. I wish Sam nothing but the best in her future of hair but I do not feel comfortable with your company doing my hair on a very important day. As a bride we have enough stress on our hands, I do not need added stress of how my hair will look. There is 89 days until the date of service so I am not required to pay any portion of the second half of the expected expenses. I am sad to say I regret booking with your company. ** not included in my cancellation but I should've ran when I saw the red flags, I signed the contract that was sent to me by the owner and after the fact she goes "our prices have gone up after the new year..." yet I agreed and sign to the original prices before the new year and she sent me a contract with those prices and then went back on her word...
