Sage Spa offers massage, including reflexology, facials, nails, and hair treatments. You gain access to the spa amenities if you get a massage or a facial. Spa amenities include hot tub, cold plunge, steam room, sauna, robes, slippers, and a luxurious locker room for dressing and getting ready. The only down side to Sage is that you can only access the spa amenities with a facial or massage -- not hair or nails. The gift shop is adorable and sells all things beauty. Sage is a fantastic respite at Morongo. I highly recommend! read more

It pains me to write this review but I really need to do this so no one else pays this much money $91 plus tax to get a job I could've done at home. So the tech who did my toes was Angela. I waited 3 weeks to get my toes done so I could go to the spa, I was excited. I was going to book a massage. Thank God I didn't because paying for a $158 massage plus gratuity (not optional) would have killed me if the massage was the same quality as my toes. I pride myself on using my hard earned money on things that i enjoy and make me feel good about myself. I could tell the tech didn't want to be bothered, it was a 10:30am appointment, I brought in my own nail polish so my toes and nails would match. She didn't answer any of my questions about the spa or services, like she didn't know, she just kept saying she didn't know and I'd have to ask someone else. I thought maybe she was new but she said she'd worked there for 10 years. Here are the things that went wrong, she cut my toe and it started bleeding, she said it was because my toenail was broke and chipped off.... She didn't clean it with alcohol or antiseptic, she just poured acetone on it. It wasn't due to a broken nail, you can see a chunk of skin missing from my pinky toe. She didn't say that she cut me, I felt it and saw the blood, she also didn't apologize. She was very rushed, the bottom of my feet were not done at all, as I said, it seems like she was new and didn't really know what she was doing. In the beginning she kept trying to pressure me into a massage because I had told her it wouldn't let me book it online. I should have listened to the little voice in that told me I should ask for a different tech. If I ever do go back to this spa I'll just go to a different tech. You can clearly see from the pictures it was a bad job. But overall, the spa was great, here is what was good about my visit. Alexandra was the front desk rep, she was kind, knowledgeable and sweet. I was meeting a group of people there, their times were a little different than mine, she made accommodations for me so I'd be able to meet my group. She was very great, I even thought she was the manager because of everything she did. The sauna, hot tub and showers were perfect, the back room spa attendants were amazing! Exactly what you think of when picturing a spa experience. The music and ambiance were amazing, it was very clean. Customer service from everyone else was amazing, accommodations 100% and Alexandra was 100% amazing. With such delightful customer service from everyone else it seems I somehow got the one bad apple in the bunch and ended up with a bloody toe, ugly toe nails and dry feet because of it. If I ever do go back to this spa I know that I'll be treated well and I'll feel good when I walk out. Just don't book Angela, she ruined half of my day. Thank god I had a first aid kit in the car and was able to apply antiseptic ointment and a bandage. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but had to deduct 1 star for a few reasons. First, I reserved an 80 min deep tissue massage online with Cassandra a month in advance. I did not receive an email confirmation. A week prior to the appointment I called to confirm the reservation and apparently Cassandra wasn't available since she had a facial scheduled. This was disappointing given that I booked my reservation a month early. Do not rely on online reservations! For that reason, I modified my massage to 50 mins. Upon arrival, my friend and I were enthusiastically greeted by the women at the front desk (in front of a man who appeared to be the owner/manager). We checked in and paid. The full amount included an automatic 20% gratuity. We were then lead to the locker rooms/spa area by the wonderful Monica! She explained how to access the lockers and gave us a brief tour. I was not thrilled about how crowded the area was. The sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were literally each occupied by several women. It became pointless to use. Overwhelmed, we waited in the waiting room for our massage instead. Monica then brought us upstairs in a much more quiet/calm lounge area that included massage chairs, cucumber water, nuts, and teas. I was assigned to Tina, the therapist. She was great! Massage left me sore the next day but I still enjoyed it. My friend and I were able to enjoy the spa area later since most of the young women left. It was nice and finally quiet! The place remained clean and fully stocked up with all essentials you can think of. Upon departure, the women at the front desk were a lot less enthusiastic. It was almost awkward for me given the drastic change from the entry point. Overall, it was a mediocre experience. read more

11-2-2024 Today was my second time to render services. First time I had a Swedish massage. Today I had a Swedish massage and facial along with a promo of eye and lip treatment. Huan provided me an awesome massage and great faciaI. I was able to use their amenitiesl - jacuzzi, cold dip, steam and dry sauna. Also, I was provided access to their outside mini lazy river, pool and beach areas. I was provided a locker, robe and slippers. They have infused water, bottled water, trail mix , variety of teas, and hot chocolate upstairs to relax for awhile before and after treatments. They have massage chairs while waiting. They provide many services - massages, facials, pedi/mani, hair, and etc. Very clean place. This place is very clean. Everyone is personable and kind. We stayed in the hotel for 2 days , Friday and Saturday. Sage is located at the Morongo Casino & Resort. I highly recommend this place , if you want to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. read more

I have been searching for a nail tech that cares for their clients and quality of their work for forever, and ever since they introduced acrylics and gel x i immediately hopped on their new nail tech, Jessica. She is the exact nail tech I have been searching for, and she takes such pride and care in her work, she is absolutely amazing and does exactly what I ask for whether that be a design I come up with or one I find on pinterest it is always executed perfectly. Being able to do my nails with her is always such a vibe and she definitely takes care of me when I come in. The only genuine complaint I have is the lack of color selection in the nail salon, I have been coming to the spa since I was in middle school and I swear they have had the same OPI colors since 2012, since coming to see Jess I have had to buy my own nail polishes and bring them. I think if you're going to offer the services you should have a wide array of colors so designs can be executed. Other than that all my visits in the spa have been amazing and I will continue to keep visiting as long as Jess is here. read more

Loved this cute little spa at Morongo casino, we had massage and nails service appointments in the afternoon, glad we were able to store our things around noon. We needed a few hours to check out the outlet nearby, so it was quite convenient for us. This is a good sized spa with all the needed amenities, hot and cold jacuzzis, steam room, sauna and access to huge hotel pool. I had manicure and pedicure, wanted to do a waxing too but it was too late to book. The gel mani & pedi I had was very relaxing and detailed, the glitter and bright colors were very cute. Hubby had Swedish massage which he enjoyed very much. They also have a salon so a blow dry here is a great idea before a night out. What I loved the most was the access to hotel pool, it is such a huge fun pool with a full bar. We had a few drinks there, in fact we were able to order room service drinks at the spa too, and the drink prices were very reasonable. First class experience! The spa is small but very well appointed. I took my daughter for her 18th birthday gift. She had a Signature Facial and I had a Signature Massage, both for 50min. They open at 9:30am, so I went down from our hotel room to try to get an appt for that day. I was lucky enough to get both appts at the same time. The receptionist was even kind enough to walk me to the promotions desk to get a free membership so I can get a 10% discount on Spa services. She also told me to come 30min early to enjoy the amenities. My daughter & I arrived early and got lockers with a robe & slippers. There's a little jacuzzi and a standing jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. They have spotless showers & bathroom stalls. Kudos to Eugenia & Yvonne who were there during our visit, working hard to keep everything so neat & clean! About 5min before our scheduled service, we were taken upstairs to the treatment area. Everything was hushed. The hallway was mutely lit with candles along the walls. We sat in the upstairs waiting room, enjoying the massage chairs. There's coffee, tea & water available, as well as yummy trailmix! Brigitte gave me a massage & Cassandra gave my daughter a facial. We both loved it! Ngl I fell asleep & was twitching in no time. Both ladies were professional & personable. We loved the experience & can't wait to come back! We took a shower after our treatments. All toiletries were provided. There were even hair dryers & styling tools. Toothbrushes, razors, qtips, combs & brushes. EVERYTHING was provided! At the time we went, both treatments were $135 each. There was a 10% discount from the membership and they automatically added 20% gratuity to the bill. I went to the spa with only my room key because everything had already been paid in advance & there were no extra charges. If you're in the area near Morongo Casino, you have to try Sage. I highly recommend Tina. I was leaving Palm Springs and decided to stop at Morongo and check out their day spa. I wanted to treat myself to a facial. I believe the name of the facial was 'Power Facial for Men'. That was recommended by the lovely women in front. I was assigned to Tina. She's very lovely and has a very nice vibe. Tina is very knowledgeable with skincare, and she was great about letting me know what and why was being administered to my face. Her voice is very soothing and made me relaxed. She answered all of my inquiries about skincare, which impressed me. Towards the end, she gave a neck and shoulder massage that was extremely relaxing. Full body massages give me anxiety because I'm ticklish, but the neck and shoulder massage was divine. I will definitely be back and I will for sure book Tina again. She is top notch! read more

I both like and dislike this place. On one hand, the facility is well stocked, it's very clean, the staff is really nice, you get full access to the pool, and it's so quiet. However, I can't ignore how awful my services were. It was the worst facial I've ever received. The more I think about it, I almost feel like it was purposely done so the esthetician could tell me all about her private business and how none of these bad things would happen there. She kept constantly dropping the hint that I should book there, but, she didn't address my skin concerns and it felt like she was just rubbing coconut oil on and off my face the whole time. Then there was the light. The room had this faulty bright light that kept blinking on and off right in my face the whole time. It was another reason to drop the hint about it never happening at her place. I still paid full price for the coconut face rub, annnnnddddddd broke out for several weeks after my visit. A few weeks after I posted my second review, the new manager of the spa reached out to me. She was very kind and professional and wanted to do everything she could to make it right. At first, I thought there was nothing that could fix the damage that had been done. Then I realized even though it wasn't her mistake (and that she wasn't with the company at the time the incident occurred) she was still trying to rectify the problem. I took Sara up on her offer. I ended up trying the spa, again. No waxing this time. I got a very relaxing facial and a couples deep tissue massage. Both were amazing! Overall, we had a great time and will be back. I'm gonna steer clear of waxing services because of my last experience but I do recommend getting a facial or massage. Thank you for helping to turn my experience around, Sara. Great service. My wife and I went to Sage on 29 August. We both received the Swedish massage, and I also got a stem cell facial. OMG it was great. Cassandra was my therapist. Thank you so much as it was what I needed. By the way, the locker rooms were outstanding. Whirlpools, two sets of sauna rooms, showers, etc. You were able to use these until 5:30 PM. My wife and I got the services done gambled a little bit, went to lunch and then I headed back and use the facilities again. I will be returning back in the next month or so. read more

I haven't had any massage or facial since the covid started but i am glad to feel safe with their esthetician and massage therapist being fully vaccinated and i am myself as well and my partner. Facial was amazing i wish it was longer and i just forgot they only have 25 minutes schedule left cause our schedule was kinda late. Massage was so relaxing and i felt like all the knots in my back was fixed. I ask for Swedish. Women's spa is very nice plenty of lockers, sauna, showers and separate powder room. They have all necessities from hair tools,shavers and shower items. Except lacking of towels. The area is pretty clean though! And the asian girl at thefront desk is really nice and friendly! Today I went to get a balayage hair color and brought in a picture. I was introduced to Lexy. She warmly greeted me and we made an appointment for the following day because of my busy schedule. She told me I could come in 30 min before they even opened. The following day I waited just a few minutes before she arrived. While she had color in my hair, she asked if I would like coffee. She went over to Pink coffee and she bought me a pastry and coffee. While she was doing my hair, she always made sure I was comfortable and that she understood what I wanted and expected. Second time at this spa and it was a complete disappointment due to lack of communication and not providing the type of service we signed up for. My husband and I signed up for a couples massage through the booking website and also called to confirm we had a couples massage. Not only did the front desk not know how to function the locker when the instructions were so simple, but she did not tell us that we would not be getting a couples massage before our service. Once we got to the room and before the service started both my husband and I asked each of our therapists why we are not getting a couples massage in the same room because they had us in separate rooms. My therapist told me they did not have a big enough room for it, and my husbands therapist told him that they didn't have the proper chair. As far as the massage goes for myself, I personally did not enjoy this second time getting a massage. Not once did my therapist ask if the pressure is ok. I've been going to get massages regularly at various spas for 10 years and this was the first time not being asked how the pressure is or if it was ok. I told her before service that I would like her to focus on my calves, feet, shoulders and have "firm to medium" pressure. She did not. The massage felt very light 90% of the time. I'd say 10% was light to medium. I was looking for firm on my feet and calves which I did not get. She spent most of the time on my back and thighs which were not a problem area. I'm upset that I have to write a review about this, but I definitely don't recommend couples massages here and. Tina was my therapist. If you are expecting medium pressure or anything above that, make sure you ask for a therapist who will accommodate and try not to get her. read more

Loved both my visits here. I got an express pedicure and manicure here. Both were great, except it took my gel nail polish a whole day to dry and I ended up ruining them. With my experience in getting my nails done, it would have be better if this salon had the equipment to dry gel nail polish. Of course, they let me know that there nail services are not as extensive as other nail salons, so I understood that going in. I also got a deep tissue massage and a facial. I went to Sage Spa after having a very emotionally and physically challenging two weeks. I was emotionally and physically exhausted and thought a day at the spa would help. I scheduled a pedicure bcuz what I initially wanted a mani/pedi was unavailable due to there only being one manicurists. Which is standard for them. Disappointing. However I scheduled a deep tissue massage. It was around$160 which included tip in the base price. My message therapist was named "Valley", from the valley she says. A valley I wish I never went to. She was the WORST message therapist I have ever had. Talked excessively and felt more of a gentle rub than a deep tissue massage. I expressed from the beginning what I was hoping to get from the massage and felt as if she completely disregarded my requests. The motivation to do a good job just wasnt there. Probably because they are guaranteed a tip which is included in base price. After she finished I felt more anxious and irritable than when I went in. I spoke to the manager regarding my concerns who then gave me a pass for a free service on my next visit. However I NEVER want to go back there. The ambiance was average w semi broken fixtures and just felt cheap. The only thing good there was the cucumber water. read more

I think the spa itself needs renovation. It's so small. The locker room area definitely needs to be away from the entrance-hello, privacy! They need to expand this spa and include a lounge room. They only have 3 chairs in that place total. I also think the girls in the front need to smile more. They also get so paranoid when customers are looking at the items on the back shelf-um I'm not a theif so, get out of my way and just let me shop and look at the ingredients and I'll let you know what I want to purchase. I also think they need to sell whatever shampoo/conditioner/body wash they use in the shower rooms. That will give them more income. Because that stuff smells good. I'd definitely buy it. They have seaosnal specials for certain services which is cool.. because I honestly think the full price for the services are not worth it. Maybe if renovation and expansion happens, then the prices can stay.
