When I was there I was offered a drink and I chose the whiskey. I hate to say it, as a drinker thus kinda frustrated me because it was so little of an amount. I get it but dang I wanted some more. Valerie was my manicurist and she took her time giving me the full works on my very easy hands and toes because they were pretty short already but she was meticulous with everything. She did a great job. I liked the whole thing but as I look at some of the reviews the one thing I never hear anyone mention about is the price and at $150 for a Mani pedi some may say it's expensive, sheesh, I'm saying it. Lol Other than the price I enjoyed the experience as opposed to going to a regular nail shop. There are no drinks at some of the places I've been too. I'd do again, when I hit the lottery. I enjoyed it though and everything was finished in about an hour and ten.

Ultimately, I went with low fade with and a touch up on the top. He mentioned my two hair whorls and overall head shape provided some considerations on what he thought would look natural, which I appreciated. In the end, the fade was perfect. Then I showed him a picture of me with the haircut I wanted (which was a burst fade Mohawk) and he proceeded to say "is that really you". This was at the beginning of the hair cut. Mid way he asked a second time if I had ever had this hair cut before which I answered yes. Also at the beginning he had mentioned how much are we taking off the top. I mentioned just a little bit and we can work our way down. When it came to cutting the top I feel he had gone too low. At that point I just wanted to get out of the chair. I waited 2 days to post this just to see if my hair needed to settle in since I went from a wild lions mane to what ever this short hair cut I have now. But no matter how much I attempt to style my hair it just looks dumb. My feedback to Hin is if you aren't confident in cutting someone's hair then please just say so. Or if your specialty is clean cuts then tell your client so they can make the decision of sitting in the chair. I may come back to try with someone else to cut my hair since I feel the people here have some skill.

I'd been getting the same high fade for a decade and wanted to try the longer wave thing everyone's doing. The first barber I asked for it butchered it, mostly because he'd never done a long cut in his life. Gianni took one look, diagnosed what was actually going on up there, and got me to a halfway cut. A couple months later, the cut grew in as he planned and he took me from 80 to 100%, right in time for my vow renewal. His profile calls him the brushback king and I couldn't agree more. Fair warning: he's meticulous, so plan on real time in the chair. You get what you pay for! Also book ahead. At least a month, in my experience. Gianni's popular and I've never once seen anyone get off the waitlist. The shop itself is worth the trip on its own. I had to get my hair recut the very next day, as I had a week full of work meetings. The redo haircut was done at another men's salon which is wear I learned there was major issues with the lengths at the back of the head. It was BAD They said it looked like the stylist from Eddie's went too short on his guide and tried to blend it in. In order to even that mistake out, the redo haircut had to be even shorter. After growing out my hair for nearly 10 months... I was left with short hair and paying for two haircuts back to back. I reached out to management for a refund and to let them know what happened; the only solution was to offer a recut with another stylist. I would prefer not to return. Other red flags: 10 minutes late to start Haircut was advertised as 60 minutes and even after starting late, it was less than 30 minutes in and out of the chair. The stylist immediately went into questions about how often I washed my hair and if I liked short hair or long hair better, after I had just explained that I wanted to keep it longer since it was growing it out. He also did not style my hair or suggest any tips on how to style it, and at first I figured it looked good tucked behind ears, but when I got home to wash I could see the major issues in lengths.
