Then I showed him a picture of me with the haircut I wanted (which was a burst fade Mohawk) and he proceeded to say "is that really you". This was at the beginning of the hair cut. Mid way he asked a second time if I had ever had this hair cut before which I answered yes. Also at the beginning he had mentioned how much are we taking off the top. I mentioned just a little bit and we can work our way down. When it came to cutting the top I feel he had gone too low. At that point I just wanted to get out of the chair. I waited 2 days to post this just to see if my hair needed to settle in since I went from a wild lions mane to what ever this short hair cut I have now. But no matter how much I attempt to style my hair it just looks dumb. My feedback to Hin is if you aren't confident in cutting someone's hair then please just say so. Or if your specialty is clean cuts then tell your client so they can make the decision of sitting in the chair. I may come back to try with someone else to cut my hair since I feel the people here have some skill.

TL;DR : I had a terrible experience…read more I was basically left with an A-line-Bob-shag, after walking in with shoulder length hair. I just wanted to keep some flow and bring the length up. I had to get my hair recut the very next day, as I had a week full of work meetings. The redo haircut was done at another men's salon which is wear I learned there was major issues with the lengths at the back of the head. It was BAD They said it looked like the stylist from Eddie's went too short on his guide and tried to blend it in. In order to even that mistake out, the redo haircut had to be even shorter. After growing out my hair for nearly 10 months... I was left with short hair and paying for two haircuts back to back. I reached out to management for a refund and to let them know what happened; the only solution was to offer a recut with another stylist. I would prefer not to return. Other red flags: 10 minutes late to start Haircut was advertised as 60 minutes and even after starting late, it was less than 30 minutes in and out of the chair. The stylist immediately went into questions about how often I washed my hair and if I liked short hair or long hair better, after I had just explained that I wanted to keep it longer since it was growing it out. He also did not style my hair or suggest any tips on how to style it, and at first I figured it looked good tucked behind ears, but when I got home to wash I could see the major issues in lengths.

There's also a super sweet person- Dayoung. Nicest person in the world. Amazing service and she's so great that I'd let her cut my hair too Their staff is super friendly (unlike Etude where reception acts like you're bothering them) and it does feel like the nice salons I've been to in Tokyo and Seoul. A bit off the top and a high skin fade. Having had hundreds of haircuts done in the past I knew something was off. No neck strip, loose cape. I got so much hair under my shirt. Once the barber alleged the haircut was complete I got to take a look at it and saw the complete mess I already knew was happening. Lopsided fade lines. I wouldn't even call them fade lines. It was like looking at a border crossing. It did not blend at all. I asked that he correct it and went back to doing the exact thing he was doing before. So, I saw screw it. I had him just shave my entire hair off. There was no point on continuing to try. Over an hour for a simple cut just to end up having to shave off all of my hair. Worst haircut experience of my entire adult life. Never had to entirely shave my hair. Then still get charged $45 for something I didn't screw up. My recommendation? Stay away. Look elsewhere.
