When she went to get her money back, the lady said I need your card. I did not pay with a card; I paid cash, and here is my receipt. I asked for a manager, and she was rude, saying it was over 10 dollars and she needed my driver's lic. The lady I was returning the item to was of Hispanic descent, and my mother could not understand her very well. The manager, Lisa, said we are an equal opportunity employer. Hmmm, my mom didn't say anything about the race, but the manager did. Never been racist a day in my life. SO if Lisa is not the manager, then she is claiming to be one. Upgrade your team, because this was a horrible experience for an 80-year-old. Way to lose customers.

Some differences is that I love using the drive up window. I've been able to use coupons Walgreens has given me. I have never been treated rude by any employee and everyone has always been kind. I also noticed that not only were some of my medications more affordable than Safeway, Walgreens puts the maker of the medication on the bottle most Safeway meds are not like that. The quality of the medication was better at Walgreens. One day I happened to drive up just before their lunch and they stayed open for me. Then another day I waited in line for a while and there was a problem with my prescription they worked to help me so that we could fill it. I appreciated that so much! They do answer the phone nobody is hanging up but there is a voice message that sounds like the phone being answered when it hasn't been yet. Everyone in store is nice too and its always clean and well stocked.

Contact doctor, refill was sent a week prior. So call back, fight auto phone teller, oh they do have it, but they haven't filled it yet. Check back next day, sure we can fill that for you, give us a few hours. Every time, no exceptions. Then they are snippy and rude with you. They close at 1:30pm for lunch, got there at 1:15, a little close but I couldn't break away from work sooner. They put the closed for lunch sign up while I was talking to them, in between our faces and said my Rx wasn't in yet. I'm going back to Safeway.

I had an appt at noon for an immunization. They opened at 10 am and failed to inform me that they ran out of this vaccine 2 days ago. Surprise! Previous interactions caused me to run in circles trying to satisfy requirements and in the end say sorry, we don't actually provide these with your insurance causing me to run out of supplies with no way to regulate my blood sugar for 10 days. The pharmacist says this sounds like a training opportunity as his explanation technique. Also the text reminders that med refills are ready had never notified me once, phone # has been updated and verified, but still in their system wrong. I have been so proactive and so disappointed with each experience. Time to move on to a professional pharmacy.
