I've had enough of the Hart pharmacies of the world. If you need meds do not go to Hart and Dilatush downtown without a pocketful of cash. I had spent my Social Security this month and I have 15 cans of corned beef and chili, my allotment of one can per day until I get my next check. Hart didn't show any shame about withholding my meds even though I told them I had spent my last dollar on cancer care (an electric blanket from Target because I'm freezing all the time). After nearly 4 and 1/2 hours, there was no call and no text, so I drove back to Walgreens and asked for his prescription again. This time I was told they had the medication but I needed to wait at least 30 minutes for it to be filled. I waited in the pharmacy for 30 minutes, and I got a text that it was ready. I watched and saw them take it out of the bin. They had not put anything in that bin while I waited -- I watched! The prescription had been in that bin the entire time, nobody checked it. They went with what the computer screen told them, I guess. I'm so mad about them wasting my time. As I said, this is the 4th time this has happened! I purchased the prescription and went to my car. I looked at the prescription and there it was: Filled on 4/7/25 on Monday at 6:49pm! They had it the entire time. As always, I was lied to again by them.
