Both times, I brought this to the pharmacy's attention and specifically requested that when her doctor updates a prescription, the change be reflected in their system to prevent future errors. I was told that updating or ensuring the correct prescription is filled is solely my mother's responsibility. I find that response unacceptable. Medication management for elderly patients is already complex. Continuing to fill an outdated prescription after a new dosage has been prescribed creates a significant and unnecessary safety risk. This is not a minor administrative oversight, as it has direct health consequences. When we previously used Rite Aid, prescription updates were consistently reflected in their system when a physician submitted a change. I am deeply concerned that Walgreens' current practice may place not only my mother, but also other elderly patients, at risk. Patient safety must be the priority.

One for each of the nearby Universities. Prices between the two are generally the same. Main difference is obviously Idaho versus Washington sales tax. This location I prefer right off the highway for the ease of parking and getting in and out of the store. Same layout for each store. Real difference is the staff but both stores have a majority of college students working along with locals. This location does beat out Pullman for proximity to University of Idaho obviously. Also nearby stores to supplement anything you couldn't find in the store here which is a big plus Up a bit on the "hill" but loads of parking all around. A great place to grab food, household items, or to walk around and kill time during finals week.

I've tried for many months to use this pharmacy and I just could not stay. The staff can be…read morepleasant as they explain how busy they are while telling you a prescription that you gave them days before is still not ready. Come back in 30 minutes is the first ploy. When you return 45 min. Later, and it's still not ready they give you attitude and explain that they have been really busy and they have to answer the phone too. I've never had someone at this pharmacy answer the phone, but I'm sure it happens. This is the best example of a poorly managed, poorly staffed and incompetently run business I have experienced in a long time. I thank god there are other options, I just hope they are not worse.

Bottom line is the employees look like they enjoy working there - you can often see them smiling. There is a really nice guy at the pharmacy - I don't know who he is, but he's awesome.
