Chicken livers

I bought two containers of chicken livers that I had to throw away one container due to very poor quality livers. Safeway's products are of very poor quality and the management doesn't give a hoot. This goes for their fruit and almost everything else.

Sunday at 9pm. Manager needs to be let go already....ridiculous
Brian K.

Update: still painfully obvious this store needs a manager. Today I was told there were only 15 baskets for the entire store. I made a suggestion to borrow some from another store and the response was as if I solved world hunger. It baffles me as to why this store continues toso poorly run. Update: this location doing a decent job given the current COVID situation. Store seems clean, workers have positive attitude, stocked as well as could be.

a birthday cake with jungle animals

I love this Safeway! I order curbside pick up since it's hard to shop with two little ones and they're very good at getting our order ready. I also love ordering cake here, look at what the decorator came up with for our son's 1st bday party cake (pictured). She is so creative, and the cake was so delicious too! Everyone loved it! Thank you so much! I appreciate all the staff here God Bless!

Very good safeway. They have many fresh fruits and vegetables. Not long lines. Every time I go here they have bread.

I can easily pop them out of the pack and throw them in the oven with S&P or some soy and its a meal.

A TJ's review and a commentary on the limited-edition bags…read more Overall, I'd say that I like this store, but as with everything these days, there are occasionally some challenges. This store is generally organized and well stocked, but I do sometimes receive conflicting information about when out of stock items might be back in stock. Most of the crew members are nice and helpful, but a few offer opinions that are inappropriate for a business setting. I occasionally hear crew members complaining about customers and, while I realize that dealing with the general public can be challenging, I would like to remind these crew members that some of your co-workers have some fairly quirky personalities too. The only thing that seems to be really bothering a lot of customers lately are the inconveniences we encounter over the limited release bags. This store has done a good job of creating two lines, one for people who want bags and one for people who just want to do their grocery shopping. In spite of this good solution to deal with the volume of customers at these bag releases, things are getting worse. Last week the entire parking lot was taken over by people in line for bags. Those of us who just wanted to shop for groceries had to park in Walmart's lot and hike over to the store. I'm not sure what Trader Joe's agenda is with this manufactured scarcity of bags. I realize that logo bags are a marketing strategy to show brand loyalty, but these limited-edition bags only seem to be creating a market for the resellers on ebay and people sending them to international locations. These people usually only buy the bags, not groceries, and the congestion they're creating at the store level is only pissing off your loyal customers, i.e. the people who built your brand in the first place by shopping regularly at your stores. Why don't you just start selling them around the world? Your marketing strategy could be that Trader Joe is bringing something from a US store chain to people around the world.

Too bad there isn't a Trader Joe's in my new neighborhood. I used to shop in this Trader Joe's for…read moreabout 20 years. I still come back partly because I know exactly how to drive in this neighborhood. Walking into the store, I was greeted by some of my favorite products which I can no longer find on a daily basis. So when I have business in Mountain View, I make a pilgrimage to the Trader Joe's and stock up. They have a lot of healthier options for me, which are actually pretty tough to find in other supermarkets. Parking was competitive, but I knew it would be. I went to my favorite spots in the parking lot which are usually empty and didn't have a problem.

Shame on me for not realizing this place existed. I love…read morethe variety of asian markets in the South Bay, my usual is mitsuwa but after seeing this on Yelp we decided to give it a visit. The pictures I've seen didn't do this place justice, it was way bigger then I expected, it reminds me of hmart but there was no crazy crowds as a hmart can have so we were able to leisurely shop without having to navigate oncoming cart traffic thought the aisles. We stocked up on various snacks and there was a huge amount of grab and go foods. We were heading for dinner after so I didn't get to try what I wanted but there is next time because the bossom looked delicious. We got a bunch of the Dubai cookie mochi things, an other baked goods, some chicken wings and japchae. The prices I feel are really good. I'm not sure if it'll replace my trips to mitsuwa entirely but I really can't wait for the next time we are in that area to visit again

I would consider Mega Mart a smaller yet more affordable version of H-Mart…read more The produce section was well maintained, though the fruit selection felt somewhat limited. The vegetables looked fresh, vibrant, and were packaged neatly. However, I did notice there were fewer juice and smoothie options than expected. Similarly, the meat and seafood sections were on the smaller side. There were standard cuts of beef and pork alongside a few marinated options, though less commonly used cuts were noticeably absent. There were reasonably priced salmon and tuna blocks available, but the selection of other fish and crustaceans was limited. That said, the seafood on display looked fresh, fatty, and high quality. There was a wide assortment of Asian frozen products and prices were noticeably a few dollars cheaper compared to other grocery stores nearby. As a dumpling and dim sum lover, I found myself gravitating toward the frozen section for quite some time. While most brands leaned Korean, there were still a variety of different Asian cuisines represented. There was also a bakery built into the store and the cakes looked beautiful. Most whole cakes were priced around $40. Unfortunately, the fried pastries were unavailable during my visit so I was unable to try the croquettes. The packaged baked goods also were not fully stocked despite my morning visit, which was one area that could be improved. I did enjoy the roasted sweet potato station though, which gave this corner of the store a warm and inviting smell. The prepackaged meal section was easily the most impressive part of the store. Dumplings, noodle dishes, and rice bowls were mostly priced under $10 and were generously packed with proteins and toppings. The banchan selection leaned heavily vegetable based, though I would love to see more seasoned protein options in the future. There was also a fried chicken station where customers could order individual pieces. The kimchi dumplings were plump and generously filled. The japchae was simple but satisfying, though I would not have minded a heavier hand with the sesame oil. The sushi was neatly prepared and the quality honestly felt comparable to what I would expect at a restaurant. Overall, this is a great market although I would not consider it a true one stop shop. I would likely pair this visit with another grocery store for a wider fruit and protein selection. However, this will absolutely become one of my preferred stops whenever I want convenient and affordable ready made meals.
