Parking stalls for Drive up & Go!
Aunnie T.

I love this Safeway. I've been going here for years. The produce and meat selection are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. One time my son lost his planes and the managers were able to find it and when returning it, the staff played along. They said they found his planes in the tortillas. This Safeway is clean and is an experienced I recommend going on Fridays for the deals.

Overcooked fried chicken.
Craig R.

Fried Chicken made on March 16, 2025 was left in the fryer too long. All pieces were very light and meat was way overcooked and dry. White and dark meat both. Never had this experience before but letting you know this is not good.

Update: 2/11 The store manager resolved the issue. Her employee started my online order but failed to finish it. She said she will follow up with her late today and let me know why the order wasn't finished. The three star is for the employee for not finishing my order. Also for(if it was her) telling me that the department closes at 630pm. (Lie) the store manager said that the department closed at 7pm. I put the order in at 130pm for a delivery between 5-7pm I placed an order on the Safeway app at 11 AM on Monday and chose a delivery time slot between 5-7 PM. However, the order was never delivered. I received an email indicating that my order was delayed and that I would receive another email when the delivery was on the way. Finally, at 9:30 PM, I called customer service via the app, and they directed me to call the store. Upon calling the store, I was informed that my order was never prepared, and that the department closes at 6:30 PM. I suggested to the representative that the app shouldn't allow customers to select time slots that are not feasible. To add to my frustration, the online customer service representative responded with an attitude when I expressed my inconvenience. After I typed "Shit more inconvenience," they told me not to use profanity. I replied, pointing out that their mistake was causing me issues and they were getting upset with me. As a busy person, using the app helps me manage my schedule, but this experience has made me reconsider using the delivery system. Now, I don't have any of the groceries I needed for tomorrow.

Thanks for your helpful support, Cora

Great deals, clean store, caring folks, especially Cora. She helped me save money using their app.

They really stay on top of the quality of what is on their displays. I've experienced other chain stores having rotting vegetables as a standard. They leave things out beyond sale quality. I've never experienced this at Nob Hill. While some of their prices might be a little higher, you get what you pay for when shopping. They do have an awesome app that gives Monday $5 deals and there are always other sale coupons weekly. You can order your groceries online and have them delivered or the store will shop for you and you can go curbside and they will bring them to your car. I really like the professionalism and the consistency of this market. It's definately a five star market.

The credit card reader then wouldn't take my transaction, giving the same problem as the self checkout, so I paid cash. As I mentioned the computer difficulties and frustration to the clerk, the cashier at the neighboring checkstand, a middle-aged balding guy, suddenly got some kind of attitude. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner. His carefully selected words were so faux respectful, but his tone of condescent implied he wanted me out immediately. Definitely not the same operation Michael ran at Hale & Main.

Region Market - Tacos with hand-made fresh tortillas

A food review for the TacoBar inside of the grocery store…read more A container of guacamole costs $8.99 and a salsa is $4.99 at Region Market. It is one the few Mexican grocery store in Morgan Hill. I am just grateful that we have one for a last minute dash to get fresh coconuts or chorizo and fresh sour cream. I decided to get one fresh super jumbo avocado to eat with the cheese jalapeño tamale at home. I changed my mind about cooking when I saw the line at their Tacobar that is known for fresh homemade tortillas. Since I already paid for a tamale at the grocery register, I decided to try their tacos. Unfortunately, the tamale from the super market was dry and not that great after being in the air fryer the next day. The tacos eaten fresh at the TacoBar was a different story. Their selection of meats include CARNE ASADA - GRILLED BEEF POLLO ASADO - GRILLED CHICKEN AL PASTOR - MARINATED PORK LENGUA - BEEF TONGUE CABEZA - BEEF CHEEKS CARNITAS - PULLED PORK BIRRIA - SLOW COOKED BEEF CHILE VERDE - PORK IN GREEN SAUCE CHICHARRON EN SALSA ROJA - pork rinds in red sauce I want to come back on Taco Tuesday when you get 5 tacos for $8.99. Normally it is $4.79 for one handmade taco with homemade tortillas with your choice of meats and they load it with onions, cilantro, and fresh guacamole. I got one carne asada and one al pastor taco . Each taco comes with 2 tortillas and they give you so much meat that it is really 4 tacos. It is Sunday night and a lot of the orders were place in to go pizza flat boxes and big brown bags. I got up, bussed my own table and left completely satisfied with the desire to come back with the kids. It was delicious!

For a period of time, I was getting my wagyu steaks from Costco for a stellar price per pound when it was in-stock, but they stopped carrying it for a year and a half so it was time to find someplace else to get my wagyu fix. I decided one day to check out this carniceria after walking home from the local farmer's market and lo and behold, my precious wagyu strip steak was staring back at me whispering to buy it. You bet I bought the steak and on a whim too lol. It even came with a certificate of authenticity and a very nice paper bag! The market inside is very spacious and it's clear to me that they keep their store pretty clean as it did have a bleach-like odor. While their primary focus is selling various cuts of "elite" meat, they also offer a selection of marinated protein, and accoutrements. After securing the goods, my husband grilled that baby up and we devoured every sliver of medium rare goodness. It's fatty but in the best way possible and a little goes a long way in terms of getting and staying full. I will definitely be coming back here to try out other cuts of meat!

Their prices have skyrocketed since I first started going here, save yourself some money and shop at Region. Also call prior to going, if you're stopping by right when they open or a few min prior to closing. I've stopped by before to find their store surprisingly closed during their "store hours".

They only do tastings during the summer months, so it is a bummer we can't go ahead until next year but we are totally already looking forward to it! Each ticket was $25 for adults, or anyone over 11 years old. Children under 11 are free and there are discounted prices for seniors. I want to take bet that we probably tried over 50types of peaches, nectarines, plums and other fruit varieties. And even though you are only to take 1-2 pieces of each variety, my plate was full at the end of each section. Who would've thought there are like 20+ different kinds of peaches in the Silicon Valley? Some of my favorites were the Snow Beauty peaches, the Italian Ice peaches, as well as the green gage plums. But many were delicious and after awhile, they start to taste the same but they were still flavorful. The kids enjoyed fruit picking on the tour of the orchard and were able to pick some and taste along the way. You can purchase by the pound the fruit you pick or you can get some at the store. They also sell chocolate covered treats and desserts in the shop. Overall, still highly recommend trying this out. You can also just visit them and purchase fruit by the pound. I like that they have a"cheaper" section for "ugly" fruits and I was able to snag a couple of bags of delicious peaches there.
