I was recommended to this terrific place by the 'key' guy at Home Depot. HD didn't have my odd size key for a fire safe, so he told me where to find this place. Terrific, four keys and 10 minutes later I had perfectly working extras and he guaranteed the work and handed me a card to call him if I had any trouble. I'd go here first and skip the hardware store. read more

I went to 4 different places to get my keys for my trailer done. Problem solved here. This guy also really went out of his way to figure out a couple other strange keys I had. He ordered them because he didn't have them in stock. He also made my girlfriend a chipped car key which is about $250 at the dealer ship... way better deal here ! read more

Needed to make a copy of two different sets of keys. Went to Safeway and they made the copies and keys work great. read more

I have had my keys made at Safeway locksmith 3 times now. Each time I get great service from this family operated business. Lately my 3yr old has had an obsession with keys. They gave me a bunch of different used keys and wouldn't let me pay! Thank you again for making his day!!! read more

This guy is awesome - he couldn't help me but gave me the number of someone who could. That's a stand up guy in my book. The 4 stars is for great customer service I would have given 5 but he couldn't do what I needed. read more

I've never taken the time to write a review but I must say, Moody, the owner of Safeway is one of the most charming as well as professional persons I've dealt with on a business scale. As soon as he arrived, he began working completing the job in record time. I was very satisfied and he we just a great guy all the way around.....THANKS Moody!!!! read more

Wish there was a spot for 0 stars! I can't STAND THIS GUY! I see people saying they paid $25 - $35 for a key made for their car. That's nothing!!?! This jerk charged $130 for my car key!!! It didn't feel very secure to begin with but life got in the way before I could get back to tell him & next thing you know the key busted right in my ignition one morning! I went right back to tell him I needed him to replace it for free & he said he would not do that & he wanted me to print out my credit card statement to prove I purchased it from him then he would give me a "discount" on another key! Why the heck would I want to purchase another faulty crap key from this cutting corners jerk?! I went over to Valencia & Newhall locksmith on camp plenty in Canyon Country & they replaced my key for $23 and it felt very secure unlike when Safeway handed me my key. Valencia & Newhall have great customer service! I would highly recommend them over this idiot!!! You better believe I let him know I was going to leave him a bad review on Yelp. I guess he doesn't care about his customer service one bit. Shows what a good business man he is. read more

I lost my rental car key at Magic Mountain. The price quoted to me for replacement by AAA seemed a bit high so I started calling around. Safeway's price was competitive. I talked to Mahmoud on the phone and he said he could be ready in half an hour. He called back a few minutes later and asked if I wanted to ride with him to the Magic Mountain parking lot. Wow - what a pleasant surprise and nicety! As we drove there, he informed me what we would be happening and very clearly also let me know he needed more information from my rental car place and even talked to them on the phone. Once we got there, he let me sit in A.C. comfort of the work van while he efficiently and successfully made my replacement key. Receipt was created and emailed to me in the parking lot so I had my needed documentation. It took 20 minutes tops. This was WONDERFUL and FRIENDLY service. I highly recommend!!!! read more

Very professional and able to do same day service. I called and explained my front door was getting stuck. I was afraid I would not be able to get in my own house it was that bad. He said no problem. I have a few jobs ahead of yours, text me your address and I will call and text you when I am on my way. It was so easy. He called and texted as promised. I would definitely use his service again. read more

My Husband had his briefcase stolen in Houston, Texas. Of course his house keys were inside. Granted, we are in Santa Clarita, California, but you never know, if the thief has friends here in California. I called Moody at Safeway Locksmith yesterday afternoon. I told him it wasn't really a rush, but he told me he would be here today between 11:00-11:30 am. Moody was here at 11:00 am. He re-keyed 2 doors and even threw in an extra 2 keys for free, in under 15 minutes. Just wow, I am impressed. The service was great. read more

Last week I had the misfortune of someone breaking into my business. It leaves me in a position of having to find a locksmith who is reliable and trustworthy. I came across Moody from our neighbor who also got broken into days prior. Hands down have to say that my experience with Moody was pleasant from the job done all the way to the pricing. If you're looking for a locksmith that's upfront and honest, this is your guy. read more

Having never used a locksmith before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I called Safeway and was told he would be out to my house in a few hours. I think it only took 1 1/2 hours. The locksmith, his name is Moody, couldn't have been professional or friendly. He got the job done in maybe 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend Safeway to anyone in need of a locksmith. Thanks Moody! read more

Excellent customer service and very reliable! We purchased a new home and needed the locks rekeyed, as well as two locks repaired. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable about our old locks (original to the house). He showed up on time, got everything done quickly and it all works. We've used them for years and they will always be our go-to locksmith! read more

Amazing!!! Mahmoud was quick, courteous, sweet, and went out of his way to take care of me on short notice. He didn't take advantage or try and up sell me because I called him last minute and after hours. He made me feel as if I was family and he was looking out for me. Great guy-- I highly recommend him!!! I will continue to use him in the future. Thank you Mahmoud for your great service. read more

If there were 10 stars I would give 10! I got locked out of my house with my two infant twins in the house and needless to say I was frantic. I called a few other locksmiths in the area and told them my situation and they said "sorry, we can't be out for a few hours, just break a window". I figured I'd try one more number and thankfully I called Safeway. When I told him my situation, he said I'll be right over, give me 10 minutes. He was an absolute pleasure and immediately got me inside to my babies. What a lifesaver!!! Thank you!!! read more

I called Safeway Locksmith to unlock my vehicle. Service did not arrive. I received a call that they were unable to find my location/address after 40 minutes. I sent a link to Google maps with my location (the same I used to get to my location), but they still were unable to find it and claimed it was getting late/too far. This contradicts the statement on their website that 24 hour service is available. The location was 12 miles from the address of the office provided online. I ended up calling an Uber to pick me up, get spare keys and drive back for less than the quoted price. By the way, the Uber was able to find me... read more

My mailbox lock was broken. I called Friday afternoon and they came out at 9 am Saturday morning (my request - they offered to send someone out that afternoon but I had to go to work) and installed the new lock for $85! If only the rest of life's problems could be solved this easily... read more

I highly recommend this place for all of your locksmith needs, automotive or otherwise. They were very pleasant to work with and gave me a great deal on two new keys for my car, including programming the transponders and all of the electronics. Moody is wonderful! Fast, efficient, dependable, and reasonable. I highly recommend Safeway!

I highly recommend Safeway Locksimth. They were very pleasant to deal with, they didn't beat around the bush. I dealt with Moody, he save me close to $200, compared to the other Smith locks in the area who were way overcharge. I would recommend Safeway Locksmith before any locksmith in the Santa Clarita area. read more
