Not the best but, it's close to the hotel.

Located across the parking lot from the Oxford Suites Hotel where my daughter and I stayed for the weekend. We stopped in for some snacks for the room and whatever else we could find. It's nice that this Safeway stays open until 1:00 AM but, it would be even better if it were open all night. After normal hours, don't expect to find too much in the way of hot or decent foods. Their Deli and it's selection are poor after hours. With the exception of what they labeled as hot wings, I ended up buying beer, day old red velvet cake and chips & dips. There is a Starbucks located inside this store too. But one would never know by their advertising or where the shop is located within the store. That's probably the reason there are no reviews of this Starbucks. No one knows of it's existence.

Another day in flora, in the past I've gone into Safeway purchase several bundles of flowers to make a bouquet and was given a cheap vase from back behind the counter. Today I wasn't offered any assistance to put the bundle together with or without a vase or any assistance on choosing any sort of flowers. She did answer my questions about what flowers were what. Did not greet me acknowledge me until I acknowledged her. There was a time where the floral person was super exuberant and over helpful, I not saying this person is not; I just didn't get that experience.

This Safeway is okay, but is not on the top of my list. Instead of a bakery, there's a doughnut case and some tables with baked goods. The only reason I don't like that is because there's no fresh-baked foods. Other than that, though, I like this store. The service in the meat department is fast, and the people working there are always happy to get you seafood, beef, and pork. The produce department includes over 120 different types of fruits and veggies for sale. Last of all, the parking lot is mostly used by Safeway customers, meaning it has more extra space.

Just your regular Safeway. This one is on the smaller side but has a Starbucks. Good thing is that it's across from my hotel.

Not a regular shopper at Bargain Market but wandered in to grab a bag of salad for dinner. Wow, I…read morewas impressed with how large the aisles were and how much inventory. The variety of items was also impressive. Of course they have all the snacks, chips, cookies and pantry items, but they had lots of healthy frozen meals - the bowls that have brown rice, protein and veggies - for several dollars less than a grocery store. The best find was 32 oz jars of Rao's Marinara sauce for $7.99. Costco sells for $8.99 but the jars are 28 Oz and Safeway, QFC and others sell the 24 Oz jars for 8.99. Typically I make my own sauce but in a pinch, I use jar. I've tried them all and the best, the most like homemade is Rao's. With a short ingredient list of tomatoes, onions, olive oil and basil, it's also healthy. No added sugars or preservatives. I may go back just to pick up a few more jars as stock does rotate and I'm not sure this will be there for long. When I'm at Bargain Market, it's not for my regular shopping. It's more about wandering the aisles, looking for, well, bargains, and buying a bunch of random items! Yesterday I bought Betty Crocker Brownie mix for a small 8x8 square pan, 2 for $1.00; Pop-it chips, $1.49; bagged baby greens, $1.99; Swanson low sodium chicken broth, $1.99 buy 2 get one free; and a Healthy Choice chicken and broccoli bowl, $3.99. They have a vast selection of wine and you truly can find really good deals. Same with the cheese but do read for expiration dates. Usually on the cheese they are near expiration and cheese doesn't last long past those dates. Of course I didn't get a basket! An employee evidently saw me with my arms full and without even asking, went and got me a basket. The checkout was fine. Cashier wasn't openly friendly but I don't care about those things. Not there to make friends, I'm there to save money!

This is a little market in my hood on McLoughlin Blvd…read more In the parking lot is Twin Perks Coffee and a large covered area. Guessing it is used or at least was used in another fashion. The parking lot has several spots. The store is your typical old school corner store that sells a little bit of everything. I was hoping to find cheap knives or other weapons on display for sale to little kids with enough money to pay for them. Like when I was a kid but no. This is the new generation. So now the display is Vape Pen parts, Glass Pipes and Torches. Ya. Pass! No Throwing Stars to be seen. Boo new stuff. They even have nudey mags (gross). Found them while looking for this so called "Bait Selection". I did find the Bait Fridge. With the river literally a stones throw away. This is a good idea. They had several types of bait. From Night Crawlers to Frozen Herring. No Tackle though. (That's a ball of yarn most won't unravel. I have friends who sell tackle and it's a very tough market.) Now I can get bait without driving out of the way for it. My Wife and I walked around the store and found it to be clean and well stocked. But like all little stores from my youth. They even had a section of faded plastic packaged items. Like car items. It's always amused me to guess how old these items are. You don't touch them for fear of disintegration and having to pay for the item. The drink selection is awesome all across the board. From soda to wine. After walking around it was time to stop wondering around and pay. The owners were there working. The wife tending till and all smiles. The husband. Ever watchful. I saw him eying me and that's fine. I got nothin to hide, ever! (I always want to tell security. Bro. Your waisting your time. Im on your side! That comes off sounding more like a distraction than truth.) This place has a lot and being a family owned business. I will definitely be back..

The Trader's here is in a large strip mall with big box stores so parking is never an issue. Yes, the cleanliness is because it's new, but the spaciousness is due to the design. Props for that. Well stocked with all the typical Trader Joe's items, as stores are pretty universal. Trader's isn't we here I do all my shopping, but when I'm looking for cheese, crackers and charcuterie items, this is where I go. I also love their affordable bagged salads, sugar snap peas, Persian cucumbers, small curd cottage cheese, and eggs - all affordable weekly purchases. Can always find decent wine at affordable prices, too. When they are offering tastings, I always give them a try and discover something new. And of course the 99 cent greeting cards are a steal! Plus the fresh flowers and plant section not to be missed. currently they have bromeliads which have one single bright orange, red or yellow bloom that lasts for months. I have about a half dozen! While I don't live in this area, when I go to have my car serviced or I'm visiting friends in Oregon City, my car automatically turns into the parking lot. Did I mention the easy ample parking?
