The location is superb because it's right next to the freeway. The plaza has other boba and fast food restaurants so it's fairly convenient location to come by. I've seen armed guard one time which is interesting. It has most of the stuff you expect from a Chinese supermarket so not much to say here. The checkout is one single line to the right so don't line up at the checkout counters and look for the small sign.

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. I asked a question in the produce section, and the employee's response came across as unprofessional and uninterested, as if he didn't want to be there. The produce itself was far from fresh--many of the tomatoes looked like they were on the verge of spoiling, and the prices didn't match the quality. As I continued shopping, I noticed that overall, prices were noticeably higher than at WinCo. At express checkout, one of my items wouldn't scan. I asked the cashier for help, but she seemed annoyed, like I was inconveniencing her. She had been sitting there on her phone and only responded after I tried multiple times to scan the item myself. I wanted to support a local store, especially given how many businesses in Antioch are closing. But when customers are treated with indifference and rudeness, it's easy to understand why that happens. I hope management addresses this and reminds staff of the importance of good customer service.

Luckily, there was a nice flow to the store and everything moved along nicely. I was even able to score a few of the Trader Joe's mini totes. I loved the flower selection here, I grabbed a few and made an arrangement for the friend I was staying with in the area. The staff here is super friendly and even helped me by grabbing something in the back.

It's the first of the month, on a weeknight after work, and they have TWO registers open, not counting express. This seems to be the norm, it is what it is.
