For reference, I had to wrestle my kids down for pink eye drops in the past, so I had low expectations this would be successful. It's important for me that my kids have a good relationship with all things related to their health, and this was such a positive experience for them. Another thing that impressed me is how thorough Vision Veritas is, they told me information about my eyes that I have never heard from any of the previous optometrists I had ever been to. I called the office on 8-15, the girl said she'd send it out. Seemed annoyed that I called and didn't really seem to care. Another whole day and no link sent. Incompetent office staff, so I cancelled the appointment. Obviously, they don't value my time or my business.

The manger (Riley) yelled in my face and told me to get out of HER store for trying to make a complaint on the assistant manger for literally being rude, unprofessional, dismissive and lack of customer service skills. Come to find out the manager (Riley) was even worse. The assistant manager walked out of my face literally mid conversation and never came back out. I was just trying to gain some knowledge on my glasses about a warranty on my glasses. (That she said I had to have a printed copy of my warranty, which I didn't understand is why I was trying to gain insight, I had my warranty on my phone with my name attached and ID in hand) They answered no questions and were instantly hostile and told me to leave HER store, Maybe because I am a black man and they feel as though they don't have to show me basic human decency. I feel as though I have been discriminated against. They literally wouldn't even give me the light of day ignored me, Riley yelled at me and my fiancé while our 8 year old child was right there next to us even she was shocked and saddened. As soon as I tried to make a complaint she cut me off , The manager Riley tried to intimidate me by yelling and pointing in my face and telling me to get out of HER store which it is not her store. SHE is an employee of the store. Not the owner. I know this extremely repetitive but I feel as though I need to reiterate the severity of this situation, because this is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. The altercation started with the assistant manager I was asking question about my warranty she was extremely rude and dismissive and literally walked out of my face and went back into her office mid conversation. So I asked one of the sales associates to get the manager. Riley (store manager) took her time coming out to a customer complaint. Once she finally came out I simply stated In the most respectful way that the assistant manager was extremely rude and unprofessional and that is not how you treat customers. This is a retail store so I would think customer service would be at the upmost importance to the company. Mid conversation she literally cut me off yelled at me pointed her finger in my face and told me to get out of her store. Which I did, so now I am here to make a complaint. I will also be leaving some on Google. Hoping that no one ever spends another dollar at that store. Whoever is in charge or overseas that store needs to seriously look into who they have hired to represent the company I am extremely offended and seek some type retribution or action taken. There is no telling how many customers or employees she treats like that. I would like a response/follow up on this matter. My old glasses are better than my new ones. The contact prescription from this place went from -6.25 in each eye, which it's been my whole life, to -5.00 and -5.75 in 2018, to -6.00 and -6.75 in 2023. I've not even filled my contact prescription because I just wasted $500 on glasses that are worded than my 2018 prescription and I don't want to waste $$$ on contacts that probably won't work either. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Prepaid $290 for contacts. Guess I'll have good luck getting that back. Lol

Finally after 30 minutes, not seeing one other appointment enter or exit the office, I asked when I would be seen. I was then told I didn't have appointment. I showed the email confirmation of my appointment, then the receptionist said the system was down and she still hadn't checked my insurance (30 minutes after arriving!)... and the doctor would see me when he could. THAT was their message to a new patient, 30 minutes after I arrived and watched the optometrist not actually doing his job.

The eye doctor was practically running out of the room to leave during my exam so she could leave. Called another location down the road and she stated they typically dilate at the last appointment as well so not sure what this location works differently. I was warmly greeted by Araceli, an optician, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understood each step and how long it would take for my items to arrive. I received my glasses on March 19 and returned on March 20 for assistance with inserting my contacts and to pick them up. Overall, this location was a tremendous help, and I truly appreciate all the wonderful staff members who supported me during my visits. Thank you!

    DO NOT VISIT MYEYEDR at 2810 E Trinity Mills Rd Apt 173 in Carrollton, TX! They erroneously billed…read moremy primary health insurance instead of VSP for my annual eye exam 10 months ago. I am unsure on how they billed my primary health insurance for any portion of the eye exam but they did (insurance FRAUD?). I contacted MyEyeDr's billing department, the office of service and VSP - all of whom are INCOMPETENT and UNWILLING to do what's right. Without confirming, Victor in the Billing department just stated billing was correct and that I would need to take it up with VSP. Receptionist Brie who is as condescending as can be also said billing was correct until I reiterated MyEyeDr billed the incorrect insurance. Brie even said she was unsure why VSP was not billed for the eye exam. Spoke with Office Manager Marshall who does NOT return calls or texts. MyEyeDr puts all the work on the client to clean up THEIR mess. ZERO accountability. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL. WORST optometry office on this planet! 0/5 stars. Would absolutely NOT recommend

I have been having an issue with eyes for over 2 weeks - that has been scary and worries me daily - I work from home on a computer all day and for the past two weeks when I wake up, its a struggle to keep my eyes open. It is like my eyes are sensitive to the light --- and also the dark -- so much that I physically have to strain to keep them open, causing headaches and everyday i wake up worried my eyes will not stay open. I had paid to see a teladoc a couples day prior to this appointment -- and an antibiotic drop was prescribed, in which, I had to put in my eyes EVERY 2 hours.... after a couple days of no improvement, my mom came to my house and put a drop of medicine she had left from when she had cataract surgery a few months ago In my eyes and -- I am not kidding when I tell you it was like a miracle-- after one drop I was so relieved that something finally helped but the I could tell it might need a few more drops to completely heal all the way. Well I booked an appointment with Eric Lee at MyEyeDr. for an exam so I could get some insight on what was going on with my eyes and hopefully get some of those drops that actually worked, but instead Eric Lee wanted to prescribe me a different antibiotic and have me try something else as if I had not told him I already tried something that had proven to help. He was unable to tell me what was wrong with my eyes and said I needed to see a cornea specialist. It is hard to see the value or put your confidence in someone who is very nonchalant and does absolutely nothing to help you. He didn't know how to solve the problem, so why would I trust his judgment or try a different antibiotic, when I've already told him I tried something that works and helped. I went in seeking help... I left just as worried as I have been for 2 weeks. No reassurance, no solution, and unwilling to help.
