So , the technician Kenneth at the safe lite in Washington pa not only broke the clip to my visor he cracked my rear view mirror casing in SEVERAL places! Not to mention the rubber along the windshield that I got replaced is bumpy on both sides the glass around the bottom edge pops out in some places scratches on the sides of chrome sides. I have been calling for the past three weeks and no one either answer or the technician won't call me back. Emailed customer service said they will have the manager call me back . No call Got a hold of customer service said they would find out what's going on never called back. The technician said he was going to find me another rearview mirror and order the clips for the visor. Never heard back from him!!!!! Not to mention he tried to tell me the casing was cracked already!!!! I pointed out what the problems were before he started so that we were both aware. Non of them was the casing of the rearview mirror and not was the clip for my visor or the bad molding that is rippled or all the scratches I have found!!!! Soooo upset!!! So now I will be calling my insurance company and reporting them and try to get my replacements I was promised! Also contacting BBB to make a complaint. Windshield works great but...... The tech who installed my windshield did a great job with the windshield itself but obviously forgot how they took everything apart. When reassembling, the tech decided to route my windshield fluid line to a point where it was pinched between my hood and the plastic piece that houses the windshield sprayers, defrosters, etc. This is opposed to routing through its given hole (second picture right side). I thought I would have to go to the dealer to have my windshield replaced but Safelite was able to do professional work right in my own garage, replacing the damaged glass with a brand new windshield. I am very pleased with the employee, Adam, who called before he got there, explained what my restrictions after installation were, and left a brochure with the warranty and phone # in case of questions. After our windshield was hit with a rock, the crack was creeping along quick enough that I didn't want to wait to get it replaced. I called Safelite for a mobile replacement and they had a free appointment that afternoon! The technician showed up 15 minutes early, explained everything he was going to do and even vacuumed up the work area in my SUV. Will never do business with them again!! Took the car in for a windshield. They broke the wipers arms, (not the blades) and refuse to replace them. The only thing they will do is give us a $40 discount. I am not capable of fixing this if I can ever find a part. The gentleman (if that is what you want to call him) at Safelite in Ohio was clueless and would not help us. He just kept repeating the same thing over and over!!
