I want to make it clear that I was never told anything about a time window--I was given a specific time, and I adjusted my schedule and traveled accordingly. I normally don't voice complaints, but this level of miscommunication is absolutely unacceptable. Respectfully, Michael Richardson

To put this into context, my father had made from old cypress and had put lots of hand made touches on it. In addition, my mother had created a beautiful leaded glass piece to go into the door. Capital Glass took exquisite care and a lot of time and care to assure that the door was not harmed and the plate glass which protects the leaded glass. In the end they did a spectacular job with this door and their charge was very reasonable. Thank you, Capital Glass for a great, affordable price.

Went to this place because I could get my glass for cheap at first they told me 162 for the make…read moreand model of my car. 1) They need to put a bigger sign because I couldn't find the place, also the man was quick in putting my glass on my car, but when I got there and I tried to pay she said that her credit car machine was down. Now I have been talking to this lady all day and not one time did she mention that her credit card machine was down so that I could bring her cash. They then proceed to tell me that my windshield would be a little higher because mine was an "expensive" windshield. I was aware as she told me this while over the phone because she had multiple windshields in stock and she needed to wait and see which one I needed to see if it would be more or less. I told the lady I would come back and pay when her machine would be back up. Honestly this was her fault because like most Americans I don't carry large sums of cash on my persons. They need to do better with communication in general. And then once she messed up on communication she tried to write down my grandmothers address so she could go get the money from her I was like oh no mam. Then they got to talking about sales tax and the price went from $206 (9% sales tax) to $214 (10% sales tax) Idk I'm a bit skeptical but it's paid for now, it's a black owned business so I wanted to support but something doesn't sit right with me. However my glass does look nice.

I learned the windshield has advanced functions including sensors for lane control and collision avoidance and a camera that requires in-shop calibration. I confirmed separately the replacement windshield (Pilkington) is high quality and compares very favorably with the OEM windshield that would be much more expensive. They also have a lifetime warranty for leaks. The scheduling was quick and easy. I will post another review after the installation.
