I went in for a wheel alignment check, and without providing any estimate or explaining the process, he asked for my car keys and told me to wait for my turn. It seemed like they were going to perform the service without clearly confirming it with me. He also never told me how long the wait would be. After waiting for an hour, I asked how much longer it would take, and he simply said he didn't know, which felt very rude and unprofessional. In total, I waited nearly two hours before my car was finally brought back. If I had known the wait time in advance, I could have planned accordingly. Very disappointing customer service experience. I would not recommend this location.

After having what I thought was a decent collision repair experience there two months ago, I am now…read moregreatly dissappointed to essentially being caught in the middle of a dispute between the collision shop and the insurance company. And the collision shop is holding on last part for my vehicle "hostage" until either the insurance company pays for a higher cost dealer headlight that has been disputed, or I do. That was NEVER the business deal and I believe it is completely unethical for Complete Auto to take this stance now. I no longer trust them and do not recommened using them! It is a terrible way to treat a customer who did nothing wrong. To explain more details, in July my vehicle was hit in the front right side by a large deer causing significant damage. I brought the vehicle to Complete Auto Service Center in Southfield for an estimate and felt good about having them do major repairs to my 2023 Acura RDX. The work was estimated to take two weeks to complete. While the shop was not a "preferred" collision shop by Allstate Insurance, they did approve the vehicle being repaired there. Along the way, Complete Auto had issues getting the proper headlight (which has a lot of technology in it apparently) and was sent a wrong or broken headlight twice by an Allstate approved vendor (which cost several hundred dollars less than from a dealer). There seemed to be many miscommunications on the Allstate side quite frankly, but after the vehicle being at the shop for over three weeks (all while I was racking up significantly rental car charges), Complete Auto said that they finally got approval from the Allstate adjuster to get the headlight from a local dealer (at a $600 higher cost). They got the light put it in and released the vehicle to me. Subsequently, when Allstate went to final approval to pay the shop, they claim that their adjuster never approved the headlight purchase from the dealer and would only pay the shop that amount authorized from the preferred vendor. To put it in perspective, the difference was about $600 and the total collison repair was a bit under $6,000. Allstate did pay Complete Auto promptly, but did not include the upcharge portion of the headlight from the dealer. I wrote Allstate several times on behalf of Complete Auto, to help state their case for the higher cost headlight, and called the Allstate adjuster's department at least twice as well to try and help. Again, I was not part of the dispute betweent the two of them. In the meantime, when I had picked up my vehicle and was ready to take off, the Complete Auto representative informed me that they hadn't yet received the proper "engine cover" and they'd get it in soon and I could just stop by for a quick install. He said that the vehicle was fine to drive without the engine 'cover' (it may just be a sound proofing liner underneath the hood and not really a "cover". It looked fine so I left and vehicle has been running fine without it. Recently, I contact Complete Auto, said I was in the area and wanted to stop by to have the 'engine cover' put on. They then said they would only install the engine cover if either Allstate or I paid them for the difference in the cost of the headlight. I asked the rep on the phone if this unfair position was coming from the owner of the shop or not and he said it absolutely was. What a ridiculous way to treat a customer who was simply stuck in the middle between a dispute about whether the insurance company adjuster really did authorize the dealer purchased part or not. On top of it all, the new hood that was installed as part of the collision repair is poorly lined up (has a much larger gap on the passenger side than the driver side) and the areas of the vehicle that were painted (it's Acura bright blue color), does not match very well with the rest of the vehicle. Do not trust this shop, it's owner and certainly do not use them! My only real retribution here is to write reviews and try to keep others from having a similar negative experience. Thanks for reading this lengthy review!

I took my car here for collision work a month ago and was told by Jeff that I would not have to pay…read moreany part of my deductible. I asked him about the deductible because I went somewhere else in Ferndale first and that company told me that I would have to pay approximately $700 of my $1,000. deductible. I declined to do business with them simply because I didn't have the money. I currently don't receive any income at this time so I was looking for a company that waived deductibles. When I explained this to Jeff, after reading In their window "we waive your deductibles" he told me not to worry and that my entire deductible would be waived. He assured me of this so I left my car and keys with him that day. Now here we are a month later, and my car is now ready to be picked up, Mike, the very rude so call owner, which is puzzling because Jeff told me from day one that he was the owner, told me I had to pay them $700 in order to get my car. I explained to Mike that Jeff assured me that I wouldn't have to pay anything towards the deductible and he basically called me a liar Stating that Jeff would have never said such a thing. From the moment I walked in their establishment, I spoke about the deductible and what the other body shop in Ferndale told me. I was not in a position to pay the deductible so I made that very clear to Jeff and that's when he told me "we got it, you won't have to pay anything". If he had said to me anything along the lines of me paying anything, I would have walked away and continued to search for another body shop or wait until my income was restored. Here, I didn't have that option because I was LIED to in order to get my business or should I say the insurance portions money. So now here I sit still waiting to speak with Jeff who's currently unavailable, about what he said to my face in front of another employee regarding my entire deductible being waived. At least the company in Ferndale was decent enough to tell me up front that I would have to pay a portion and left it up to me to decide if I wanted them to do the work. Complete auto just lie to your face to get the business. Totally unprofessional. And rude Mike doesn't help the situation. I don't think they plan on being in business much longer. Not at this rate, anyway. My daughter always tells me to check reviews on things I'm interested in and now I see why. So they still have my car and I have to, once again, try to reach Jeff tomorrow to see about it being returned to me. I know my situation as far as my money is concerned and would not have EVER gave them permission to work on my vehicle if I had to pay any parts of a deductible simply because I currently don't have any source of income. I would have waited for my income to be reinstated or continued to search for a company that waived the entire deductible as advertised.
