    UPDATE: They came to fix the problem on 3/21... or so I thought... When I drove hours later, I could hear air leaking on the driver side windshield!! ‍ I contacted them on Friday and they were supposed to call me back to schedule for the next service, but they didn't, and they didn't call me on Monday either, so I had to call to schedule again! They are coming this week but I really hope that they will fix it this time! It's ridiculous that I have to waste so much time! When we used them years ago with window replacement, they were really good so we chose them, but I will not recommend them to anyone!! ORIGINAL: I had the windshield replacement service initially scheduled on 3/14, but they mistyped the VIN and brought a wrong windshield, so it was rescheduled for 3/16. When the tech arrived, he didn't ring the bell, he just knocked on the door, which is odd considering that our doorbell is big and noticeable. We only knew he was there because our doorbell detected a person at the front door. Anyway, before the job was completed, I received a text message telling me that the tech is wrapping up and he would reach out soon with service summary. Then after 1.5hrs, I received another text letting me know the replacement was complete. I was waiting for him to come to explain the job he has done. But after about 5mins, he still didn't come so I checked outside, and he was already gone!! I checked the windshield, and realised that the trim molding on one side was too short and there was a gap, and on the other side was too long!! The rain can seep in in it rains! It was just a few minute past their business hours so I couldn't get hold of anyone. And the windshield washer doesn't even spray anymore. It wasn't full but there was fluid. I filled it and tried it multiple times. It still doesn't come out. So I made an appointment online and got a confirmation for today, 3/18. No one has contacted me yet so I called to get the ETA. They said the service was never made (what?!). I have a record of the appointment, but they said no one was available today, the earliest that a tech was available was on Thursday!! The woman on the phone was very rude, when I said "May I have your name, please?", she just hang up without saying a word!!!

They called me and set up the appointment for drop off. They also worked to squeeze me in, since they were pretty booked up. When I arrived the lady at the counter was super nice and explained everything to me. They signed me up for text notifications but they are not accurate. I think they over estimate the day it's ready so you are not upset if it would take longer. A gentleman called me once to update me that the car "was in line for painting", and it was ready 2 days later. My car looked good as new. I have no complaints about this place, and I would come back again to get work done. I just pray I never have to. LOL!

    I was SO impressed with the customer service that I encountered at Gerber Collision & Glass in West…read moreMelbourne FL. It started with a very pleasant receptionist who outlined everything that I would need to know about the process of my vehicle getting repaired, including the fact that if I needed a rental vehicle, that Allstate requires you to pay up front and then they will reimburse you later. I then encountered Timothy Guiles, the Appraiser, who was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. He called periodically to give me updates and let me know what stage the repairs were, which gave me reassurance. When my car was ready and I saw my vehicle, I was BEYOND impressed. My car looked like it never was in an accident! And although my car is almost 10 years old, you would never know the left side of the car was newly painted, that is how incredible they were with paint matching. The entire process Gerber Collision was extremely efficient. And everyone there, made the entire process very smooth. No one ever wants to have to go through being involved in an accident, but I will say Gerber Collision made me forget that part of it. Now a days with Customer Service lacking in so many ways/places it was SOOOO wonderful to encounter Gerber Collision and the EXCELLENT customer service they provided!! God forbid I have to have my vehicle repaired again I will most certainly, hands down chose this shop!!!! -Monica Dickinson
