I went to get my windshield repaired and they fixed two cracks/chips in my windshield in a very timely manner. They did a fantastic job in fixing the cracks. The service I requested included windshield wiper replacement which I opted in for since they recommend replacing the wipers when they fix the glass, and they didn't have the wipers that would fit my car so they gave me the service for free. That is incredible customer service! I didn't expect that at all, and it was incredibly kind. Thank you so much! I will be returning if my glass cracks again. read more

Didn't realize I would be crossing time zones to attend this appointment, no one mentioned it when they offered me the appointment outside of my local area. Called over an hour in advance to find out if I would be able to still come (had to pull over and find a way to reach them since only 877 numbers are offered). Technician said I was fine to still come despite me giving him the time I would arrive. He knew I was driving from out of state just to tell me when I arrived that he couldn't do the job anymore due to the time. I understand how appointments work but it would've been nice if he had called me back or said he couldn't take me past a certain time. Complete waste of time and travel that I tried to avoid by calling to begin with. Moving forward I'll go through a privately owned company that likely values customers more than this commercial crap! read more

Can I just start with Disappointed? All I needed was a quick windshield repair for a rock ding on my truck windshield. We've all had them and know they are not perfect, but when done right, they do a decsent job saving the windshield and hiding the damage pretty good. Unfortunately, the repair only works when the glue is applied correctly. It is not a 5 minute fix, which is exactly what this place did to mine today. They pulled my truck back and I guess all they did was squeeze some glue over the damage and hope for the best. The end result was an improper repair that was more noticable after the repair then before. After telling the guy at the reception desk, he relunctantly walked outside to look at it, rubbed it with his finger and said it looks good to him. The glue wasn't even dry and smeared when he rubbed it. Never Again Safelite! Very Disappointed, but at least you got my insurance companies money, which is all you wanted in the first place. The service was amazing the front desk workers were both very friendly and polite. The technician was super fast and got me in and out within 30 minutes tops! They were absolutely amazing and were helpful with pricing and scheduling. They were informative about the warranty and the time I needed tk take before my next car wash which was very important! After an exceptional experience getting my windshield replaced it all went downhill when they didn't show up for a scheduled appointment at home to get some chips repaired. They said they'd be at my house between 1-6. So my wife sat at home and waited. NO SHOW. NO CALL. NO NOTHING. Then I try to call the next day. Did you know it's basically impossible to get past their AI computer call system? Does it offer a COMPLAINT option? No. Can I get to talk to anyone about my issues? Apparently NOT. They're so automated it's disgusting. Sure worked like a charm for setting up everything, but post service it's terrible. After my first service I was so happy, now I see it's all window dressing. read more

I chatted with the representative, and he was very helpful and answered all my questions concerning my replacement of the windshield and the recalibrating of all of my advance systems. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Tech left air bubble in the rain sensor and said it would bake out. It didn't. He came back and said same 2nd time. Did not. 3rd time tech called and said he wasn't coming because he couldn't do better and didn't know why JOHN was sending him and he didn't come! NeXt day the tech used hand sanitizer and after a few hours a bigger bubble appeared 4th time I drove over to the shop as JOHN assured me their master techs there could resolve. They used R9 and it looked great. However after a few hours it started peeling away at the corner! DYLAN assured he'd send 'Sanders" who was the best. He did not. Sent another tech who did try his best but left it with a rim around the top (wasn't there before). He said he would suggest replacing the entire sensor because it was loose from the constant removal. I called and got JOHN again who at first lied and said the tech said all was good and finally admitted he had not. I have requested to speak to the manager DYLAN but he will not transfer and also speak to the DM. Today he outright lied and said the sensor was tested and it was not by any of the techs, as they have asked me if it works! Today after speaking to customer service 3 times JOHN had the nerve to call and offer me $50 for the sensor from an $864 tab because it is "cosmetic", telling me they are NOT going to fix it! So much for the Safelite guarantee that their work is WARRANTIED! I have given them ample opportunity and have even said they can pay someone else to get it right if they can't. I'm presently waiting on the DM MIKE D. to call as I have requested for 2 days. HORRIBLE OFFICE. read more

Booked an appointment, got the confirmation for the work order. On Friday received two calls during my working day, tried to call back numerous times and received no answer. Not even an option to leave a message. Waited today from 8 am to 1 pm for tech to call or show up. Not able to get hold of the shop, called the 1800 number to get connected to the shop waited roughly 30 minutes. Finally spoke to someone about why no one showed and they stated that it is policy for them to cancel if they do not get ahold of the customer. Why even use the online booking to make the appointment. But its the customers fault that no one spoke to them to confirm, but they DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. Even the 1800 agent could not get ahold of the shop. This is absurd. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMENDED THEM FOR THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. The agent stated that it is policy to cancel. And i could be rescheduled on Monday from 1 pm to 6 pm. Who is going to pay me for time missed from work. Surely Safelite is not going to install the windshield for free. If that was the case than surely I would take off work. What they need to realize if you use a website to book an appointment and you cannot get ahold of them, the assumption is that they still want the appointment. If not send an email to confirm the confirmation of the appointment when you cannot reach them by phone. Or if you use the online appointment feature charge a $50 deposit that is non refundable. I am wanting a rep from the corporate office to reach out aswell. Not even worth the one star rating given. Cant give (-Stars) otherwise it would have been very negative. read more

I had my windshield repaired a week ago. My car was driving perfectly fine when I dropped it off then I get a call from the tech stating my car was driving ruff and it started smoking and they could smell an electrical smell and my car wouldn't start!! I ended up having to get it towed and was without a car for a week (right before Christmas) no one wants to be honest and own up to making a mistake! After getting my car from the Toyota dealer it sounded like a window was down and I had to take it back by there and the guy (Chuck) said it wasn't snapped on properl!! I am so disappointed with this service! The tech Taage said one thing and the store manager Chuck said one thing! I have an invoice stating Taage was the tech but when I called and the lady at the front desk pulled up my invoice it says Chuck worked on it!! So why was those changes made??? I wish everyone would just be honest and say I made a mistake and did something that messed up your car!! read more

just took my 2022 genesis g70 here to have my windshield replace because of a rock and they cut a wire so now i have no ac but the manager dylan acted like it was no big deal and how do i know there will be no other issues later on. i was denied the district managers number but would love to speak with him or her. now i have to take time out of my schedule amd time off from work to deal with this issue not very good customer service. you replied sorry and to reach out another example of poor customer service if a customer is having issues you should reach out to them not the other way around!!!!! read more

Went in for a windshield chip repair. Technician told me I needed new wipers....on a 4 month old truck, that I bought new, from the dealer.

I broke my windshield on Saturday night. I booked an appointment Sunday morning. On Tuesday I was all good to go and ready to drive away. IAN was my technician and was awesome. He was professional and fast. My vehicle was in a tricky location to get to, however he had no trouble locating it. I am going to give an honest review. Here it goes, My car got broken into and my passenger window broken. I had my insurance take care of it and scheduled an appointment with safelite mobile service. The technician was punctual since I was given a 0800-1200 timeline and I was the one he worked on first. Here's the kicker, the tech did not know shit about how to change the window on my vehicle which was a 2013 Volkswagen GTI. He started to take stuff apart and ultimately breaking my window regulator. After 2 hours of working on my car he called me down and said that he will send another tech 2 days later to finish up the job the he didn't know how to do. He also did a horrible job on putting back my door panels, he tried to pry out some of my door panel trims leaving huge scratch marks and left with without even putting a clear cover on my window. I immediately called their office and asked to talk to the manager in which he wasn't in that day but they scheduled me for an appointment that monday. That monday I spoke to the Manager and I showed him all the damages in my car he said he will take care of everything in which he did. Bad part is that they put a glass on my car without a regulator to hold it in place. They only put a single piece of tape on the side thinking it would hold it but after driving for 3 miles, the glass fell into the panel and I had to drive back and have them re-do their work. So they taped all sides and making sure it wasn't going anywhere, Huge hassle on my part, waste of gas and waste of time. It took about 2 weeks to get my car back to top shape but I give them props for taking care of the situation even though it took a lot of waiting. All I can suggest is that they should train all their technicians to every car that they are repairing, being prepared ahead of time and knowing the job at hand. read more
