UNRELIABLE! I scheduled my appointment 11 days in advance, then received a voicemail late the day prior to my appointment saying that they automatically rescheduled my appointment three days later than the original date because the windshield didn't arrive. My questions are....... WHEN DID THEY ORDER IT? and WHEN DID THEY KNOW IT WAS A PROBLEM? I couldn't even call them to get an answer because I first heard the voicemail at 4:56pm and they close at 5pm. I tried calling, but the automated voice menu took too long and hung up on me at 5pm. read more

Safelite bought out Technaglass. I had purchased their lifetime rock chip warrantee from Technaglass, never used it once, and now Safelite won't honor it. Safelite bought the locations and took all the profits but left all the loyal customers out in the cold. I'll never do business with Safelite ever for their lack of integrity to honor the warrantees of the company they bought out. read more

Awesome, awesome experience. We had called around to a few places for prices. Their price was great and their service was amazing. My rear window on my F-150 cracked in the morning and by that night it was fixed. I was worried it was a hard to find rear window b/c it has the portion that opens, etc. When we arrived, we realized there was a miscommunication on the type of window we needed. We were worried the price was going to be much higher. Plus, they didn't have our rear window in stock. Not only was it really not much much (could have been a LOT more) and then they went and picked It up so they could fix the window that day. They were exceptional to work with, courteous, professional, great price. I highly recommend them. read more

My Toyota RAV4 windshield was damaged due to a hot heater on a cold morning resulting in a crack stretching the width of the front windshield. Safelite repaired the crack with a new window free of rock chips in 30-45 mins. The location in Bountiful has a Great team and an awesome staff!! read more

I was incredibly impressed by the service at Safelite. I found them professional and fast, and my new windshield is great. My only complaint is not store specific, but when I was stuck in traffic and knew I would be a few minutes late I could not find a local number to alert them, and could only call their national customer service line. So incredibly frustrating. The store was so nice about it when I showed up 5 mins late, but I felt so bad and frustrated that I couldn't have alerted them in some way. read more

I went into the company as they had taken over technaglass. They stated that my lifetime sticker for rock repair will not work unless we have the original receipt which was tossed a long time ago. I've been going to technaglass for years without any issues. Now my stickers not honored and they want to charge ridiculous amounts for a few rock chips. read more

Absolutely fantastic service!!!! I had one of my windows busted out while parked in a parking garage downtown during the middle of the night. I was stressed because I don't have a garage and of course it was supposed to snow that day. My insurance company helped me make an appointment early the next morning and Brandon at Safelight was super friendly and put in the new window in about an hour. He also vacuumed out my whole car and cleaned the inside and outside of all my windows. He offered to vacuum it out again if I noticed later there was still glass inside. The window is a perfect match for the tint on my other windows. I'm super impressed with the customer service from Brandon and Safelight. Having all your windows is a plus in Utah in December :) read more

I've got to be honest, the service I received here this morning was fantastic. I got a ding in my windshield a couple weeks ago but haven't been able to get in to get it repaired due to a move and being out of town, so I really needed to get it done today. Its been raining the last couple days so they weren't sure if they were going to be able to dry out the ding and tiny cracks well enough. But they did. They got it repaired, vacuumed out my car and didn't charge me or my insurance anything for the repair. They just said "this one's on us" and sent me on my way. I know insurance companies usually cover these anyway, but to not even bother calling my insurance and going through that rigamarole saved me even more time this morning. That's great service. I'm a fan. Getting your windshield fixed is a drag. There are a couple local places around town that really rip you off despite their popularity. I decided to try Safelite when my go-to mobile installer was booked out a couple days. I made my appointment online the day before which was very easy. I decided to bring my vehicle in to the shop instead of having them come to my office. When I arrived the gentleman behind the desk knew who I was and exactly what I needed. It was refreshing. I can't say enough about the customer service which really is a lost art form these days. The price quoted online was reasonable. They didn't bait and switch. They didn't play games or try to upsell anything. They did ask if I would like some new wipers which I declined. However, I really did need new wipers so their offer was legitimate and they didn't press when I declined. I was in and out in a little over an hour which was a little slower than normal because my situation was unique. They took their time to take care of me and do things right the first time which I really appreciate more than just trying to get me in and out quickly. My bill actually ended up being even a little cheaper than the online quote thanks to a 10% AAA discount. I'll be back for sure with the next cracked windshield and you can bet I'll mention Safelite to people I care about. Now, if I could just get their obnoxious jingle out of my head! read more
