My issue was entirely with communication. I booked over a week in advance and dropped my Tesla off between 9 and 10 a.m. I went with XPEL XR Plus, 55% on the windshield and 20% everywhere else, skipping the roof since it already comes tinted. At drop-off, I was told it would be ready around 3 or 4, and 5 p.m. at the latest, which is when they close. Since I'd be without a car until then, I planned around that. At 4:20, I texted to let them know I'd be heading over soon, since it's about a 25 minute ride for me. No response, even though the text showed as "Delivered." I called around 4:40 and again at 4:50, and still nothing. Luckily, I just remembered that I could check my car's cameras through the Tesla app, and at 5 p.m. they were still applying the tint. Without that, I'd have had no idea whether my car was ready or staying overnight. I didn't get a call saying it was done until 6:18 p.m., and I picked it up around 6:30, about an hour and a half after I was told it would be ready. I've had plenty of cars tinted, and I completely understand that jobs run long. Other shops have simply called or texted to say they needed more time, and that's all it would have taken here. A shop usually has a good idea by mid-afternoon whether a job will finish on time, so a quick heads up would have made this a very different review. I'm not asking for minute-by-minute updates. Something as simple as "Hey, we're running behind, should be ready in about an hour" would have been plenty. Even the smallest bit of communication goes a long way, and for what a premium XPEL install costs, I expected to be kept in the loop. If the tint holds up through curing, the work itself seems solid. But since that kind of basic communication matters a lot to me, I'll probably look elsewhere next time. Who knew the darkest thing about a tint shop would be its communication?

She was completely dismissive, refused to honor or price-match the original quote, and didn't even offer an apology for the 'miscommunication.' Because I was already there and couldn't easily reschedule my day, I ended up paying double the original quote to get the ceramic tint. My advice to anyone coming here: get your quote in writing and make sure it explicitly states the exact type of tint (e.g., nano-ceramic). You can easily find top-tier ceramic tint elsewhere for the price they charge for their mid-tier film. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 solely because of the two brothers working in the garage. They were super friendly, professional, and did an excellent job on the installation. It's a shame the front-office sales tactics don't match the quality of the work in the back.
