Because I was already there and couldn't easily reschedule my day, I ended up paying double the original quote to get the ceramic tint. My advice to anyone coming here: get your quote in writing and make sure it explicitly states the exact type of tint (e.g., nano-ceramic). My issue was entirely with communication. I booked over a week in advance and dropped my Tesla off between 9 and 10 a.m. I went with XPEL XR Plus, 55% on the windshield and 20% everywhere else, skipping the roof since it already comes tinted. At drop-off, I was told it would be ready around 3 or 4, and 5 p.m. at the latest, which is when they close. Since I'd be without a car until then, I planned around that. At 4:20, I texted to let them to see if I should be heading over soon, since it's about a 20 minute ride for me. No response, even though the text showed as "Delivered." I called around 4:40 and again at 4:50, and still nothing. At this point I have no idea if my vehicle is going to be done today or if I have to wait a few days since they were closed on the weekend. I didn't receive any communication until I was told it was finished at 6:15 p.m., and I picked it up around 6:35, about an hour and a half after I was told it would be ready. I've had plenty of cars tinted, and I completely understand that jobs run long. Other shops have simply called or texted to say they needed more time, and that's all it would have taken here. A shop usually has a good idea by mid-afternoon whether a job will finish on time, so a quick heads up would have made this a very different review. I'm not asking for minute-by-minute updates. Something as simple as "Hey, we're running behind, should be ready in about an hour" would have been plenty. Even the smallest bit of communication goes a long way, and for what a premium XPEL install costs, I expected to be kept in the loop. If the tint holds up through curing, the work itself seems solid. But since that kind of basic communication matters a lot to me, I'll probably look elsewhere next time. Who knew the darkest thing about a tint shop would be its communication?

Now that the time has came and it needs to be replaced they said they can't do anything because i don't have the little warranty slip. They gave me three years ago, which was never mentioned that I had to keep that because they do keep records of everything. They even confirmed that they had records of me bringing my car to that shop. Seems like the customer service was good in the beginning because they were getting my money but now I'm trying to get it replaced that went out the window. Unfortunate...
