I brought my car to Amaro's Window Tint specifically because the receptionist gave me a very competitive phone quote for ceramic tint. Her price beat another vendor I already had an appointment with, so I canceled that appointment to go with Amaro's. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I experienced what felt like a classic bait-and-switch. The receptionist suddenly claimed the quoted price was only for their most basic, non-ceramic tint. I explained the situation, showed her the competitor quotes I had passed up, and explained that my schedule is very tight. She was completely dismissive, refused to honor or price-match the original quote, and didn't even offer an apology for the 'miscommunication.' Because I was already there and couldn't easily reschedule my day, I ended up paying double the original quote to get the ceramic tint. My advice to anyone coming here: get your quote in writing and make sure it explicitly states the exact type of tint (e.g., nano-ceramic). You can easily find top-tier ceramic tint elsewhere for the price they charge for their mid-tier film. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 solely because of the two brothers working in the garage. They were super friendly, professional, and did an excellent job on the installation. It's a shame the front-office sales tactics don't match the quality of the work in the back. read more

Great prices, quick turnaround, professional staff, and top-notch tint results! Staff took the time to walk me through all the window tint options without any pressure. After hearing great things from friends, I came back for the nano ceramic tint. The quality of the work is clear - no peeling and a few bubbles that went away with warmer weather just like he said they would. Ended up with a clean, flawless finish. Big bonus: my car stays noticeably cooler in the SoCal heat! My friends and I can tell they really care about doing the job right and making sure customers leave happy. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality work you can trust! read more

Overall: Would recommend 1000% over. We have been coming to amaro's for nearly 8 years and recommend everyone to go here. The service is top notch, they own up to any mistakes or blemishes and are just a well rounded team. Their quotes are better than almost anyone in town and the quality is just hard to beat. Plus the turn around time is extremely reasonable, they've wrapped our Tesla 3 times not and each time was better than the last. We also come here for window tint, which has held up perfectly. read more

WANT TINTED WINDOWS?? GO TO AMARO'S!! I recently visited for information and the owner Ruben took great care explaining my options. I returned a few weeks later when my schedule was free. Ruben was working, so his sister Lupita explained the options once again. Both people are very patient and informative. I selected the Ceramic option and different percentages of visible light transmission for different windows for my SUV. The price quoted was very fair and the vehicle was ready for pickup within three hours. I will have my other cars tinted. I feel 100% confident in this business and recommend them without question. GO TO AMARO'S!! read more

This is specifically for their Groupon. They bait and switch you. The count the little triangle windows near the mirror as windows 7-8 if you get a 5 window Groupon. So they're only willing to tint everything but that. Also, they show you the cheapest crappiest tint example as their Groupon offer. They said it can bubble after a year and good luck with warranty. Honestly it's not worth it. If I wanted to buy the two window Groupon, they said sorry only one groupon allowed. I've had my cars tinted throughout the years and this was the most unfriendliest place. No thanks. read more

The owner and manager are both excellent to work with. I had my windows tinted here approximately seven years ago, and recently the back window tint started to peel and come apart. I brought my car in and explained that I couldn't find the original invoice, but the tint had been installed right after I purchased the vehicle. They had recently updated their computer system and unfortunately lost some older records, including mine. They even reached out to their vendor to see if an exception could be made under warranty, but the request was denied. Despite that, the owner went above and beyond and took care of the issue at no cost to me. That kind of integrity and customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend. read more

Place is a joke. They advertise on Groupon a good deal but then hit you with 2 additional fees on your appointment day: $25 extra (for some reason ‍) for 5% tint, and $65 extra for the front windows... again.. for no good reason.. they do not disclose the additional fees until you arrive to your appointment.. a total waste of time FALSE ADVERTISING read more

I believe 1 star is more than generous considering the unnecessary issues I experienced at this shop. I brought in my brand-new car--with fewer than 200 miles on it--for a tint job. After two hours, the car was ready, but here's where the problems started: Somehow, the driver's seat belt ended up twisted. I checked multiple times and couldn't figure out how it happened--it made no sense. On top of that, the interior was left with shoe marks and water stains, which is completely unacceptable. When I pointed this out, the owner casually said, "You can wipe it off." I was stunned--me? While that alone might not have been a deal-breaker, the tint technician's behavior certainly was. When I asked him to get the owner, he became confrontational, got in my face, i told him to back off and said, "I'm not afraid of you." I was taken aback--why was he acting so aggressively? Unless he had something to hide, like maybe he caused the seat belt issue? Regardless, that kind of behavior is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the business. I've made an appointment with BMW to inspect the seat belt, and I'm sure they'll have a valid explanation as to how it became twisted. What I do know is this: I'll never recommend this place, and I won't be bringing my other two vehicles here if that's the kind of person they choose to employ. read more

I can't say enough good things about Amaro's Tint Shop! They did a phenomenal job tinting my Tesla Model Y Performance with 5% all around--it came out perfect. Unfortunately, I ended up getting a ticket from a police officer. Amaro's made the whole fix-it ticket process stress-free. They removed the tint in under 10 minutes, I got the ticket signed off, and they had the tint back on the very next day. I've been bringing my cars here for years, and Lupita and Ruben never disappoint. In over 20 years of driving, they are hands down my favorite tint shop. Professional, fast, reliable, and the quality of their work is unmatched. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cars. If you're looking for the best tint shop, this is it! read more

If you're looking for quality work at an affordable price, this shop is the best. I had one of my vehicles tinted here, and after over 8 years, I have never encountered any peeling or bubbling. I even had another one of my vehicles tinted, and has been going strong for 3 years. The quality of their 3M products is outstanding, and their top tier Nano Crystal really makes a difference in performance in UV protection. I had tried other, more affordable shops with less expensive materials in the past, but they did not hold up and started to peel and bubble after only 2 years. This shop provides excellent service and quality products, and the staff here is amazing. I highly recommend this place. read more

Dishonest and Unprofessional - Stay Away! I came to this shop with a clear request: I wanted the best heat rejection and UV protection for my car. They quoted me a very high price, and after some back and forth, gave me a slightly discounted rate. I trusted them. Big mistake. When I got home, I noticed bubbles all over the windows. I called and they told me it would go away in a week. Three weeks later, the bubbles were still there--especially along the edges. The job was clearly done very poorly and carelessly. But the worst part? I kept feeling extremely hot while driving. My face felt like it was burning in the sun. Something didn't feel right. I went to an authorized and reputable shop to check what was going on, and to my shock, they told me the film installed on my car was extremely cheap, low-quality material that offers almost no heat rejection at all! I was furious. I ended up paying double to have all the film removed and redone properly at a trustworthy place. This shop completely betrayed my trust. Their work was dishonest, sloppy, and a total scam. Please, do not go to this shop unless you want to be ripped off. They lied, they overcharged, and they delivered garbage. Businesses like this should be held accountable. God sees everything--deceit never ends well. read more
