Safe attendant refused to help because it was 10 minutes to closing. I had brain surgery recently and put my significant other on my account so he can pay bills while I'm recuperating. When I altered my acct the bank associates assured me that was the way to do it and he wouldn't have any issues. Locked out of my card AGAIN! Within a day and a half of fixing it they turned it off again with no warning or even charges made on the card to consider suspicious enough to turn it off. Crazy, I'm switching banks, can't even use my money here. Customer service is unhelpful so I suggest keeping money in a Cashapp for when they shut you out on your vacation or a random Sunday while they're closed. read more

I recently opened a checking and saving account here in my process of transitioning away from BofA. The banker that helped me open the account was very helpful, informative and personable. He definitely made me feel very welcome and comfortable about opening a new account. I've been with BofA for years, so it's a long process to transfer everything over, but SAFE has been amazing. I haven't been with them long enough to rate a 5 star, but so far, they are definitely a 4 start minimum! Only drawback... they still do paper deposits at their ATMs with no image on your receipt. Alright so I didn't give this a fair update the first time around so let's try this again. The only reason why I chose this bank is because it was close to my house and right next to the gym. I used to not really care about my banking because it was the summer and working. I spent money left and right and still had some money to put in my bank. But when I spent way too much, I went into the bank to ask them to help me save money. They have very nifty and good ways to help me save money and kept track of my expenses. Their staff is very helpful and know what they're talking about. True Story: I NEVER USE MY DEBIT CARD. And somehow, my identity was stolen and someone was jacking up my card on random sports betting. They called me immediately and they canceled my credit card. Bottom line: They are very fast and help you when you need it the most. read more

Had this bank for a month now and have had nothing but problems with my account. I opened it with a check from the company I was working at and had no problems for about 15 minutes. After that my online wouldn't work and I couldn't get it working because tech support is only available the exact hours that normal people work. Finally I get the opportunity to go down to the bank and ask them about it only to be sitting in the lobby for an hour and a half for a 2 minute fix. So with online finally up and running I deposit my second paycheck at the atm like they told me I could. However they did not inform me that they were going to hold my paycheck for 14 business days before giving me access to the rest. Now I am starting week 5 of having this account when I deposit my check they tell me it's going to be put on another 9 day hold. Same company as the first 2 paychecks, but if I had waited one more day to deposit the check it would have only been a 24 to 48 hour hold. But there is a silver lining, they did tell me if I got and pay another company money to cash my check they wouldn't put a hold on cash. But they also won't reimburse you for that money you had to pay. Customer service won't help at all they just immediately say there is nothing they can do and don't even try. Very highly disappointed with the account and customer service in my first month I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. read more

I want to express my dissatisfaction with the SAFE home loan team. On 6/29 I reached out to Joe Bloom for help on getting pre qualified for a home loan. It is now 7/11 with no response from him. My wife and I switched to SAFE from B of A due to their terrible customer service. I also have an auto loan through SAFE. I plan to look for a new bank. I'm looking for better customer service, especially when I'm going through a major life event. Don't waste your time with SAFE for home loans or if you appreciate customer service. read more

In doing so I brought my mother in a hour later and requested Alicia again and she assisted and informed my mother as well. Alicia is a very personable, kind and hard working young lady.
