Lieske Waterproofing provides outstanding service with highly qualified employees!…read more I have hired the company for a number of tasks and I have always been MORE than pleased. Their lifetime guarantee on specific projects lets me know all is handled with no future worries. Lieske Waterproofing prices are considerably better than two other companies I have used. The owner's knowledge and expertise are of critical importance in having the right solutions to address water issues. I have the highest praise for him and his outstanding staff. Their consideration in working respectfully, as premises are kept clean, maybe cleaner than the start, is above and beyond what other companies have done. Last week, two workers, completed a difficult task at night in our yard in the 9th hour of their workday--- with a smile. That's just awesome and reflects the high caliber of his team. I'm so happy with the latest work done and know the value of our home has increased with the improvements. Lieske Waterproofing is simply the best!

He discovered the second part after arriving and fixed it at no additional cost. His team was timely, polite, professional and detail oriented. They explained everything as they went along. They also painted, sanded and removed debris that was in the crawl spaces. I am beyond thrilled.

I had Basement Flood Protector out to my home in the spring of 2024 for a major waterproofing job…read moreon my personal residence. The job involved a full interior drain tile system and exterior dig/waterproofing on 2 sides of my home. I waited 2 summers before writing this review because the effectiveness of their work can really only be gauged over time. This week, we had torrential amounts of downpour that went on all night. Prior to the waterproofing, my basement would have had water seeping in from the block foundation walls, back basement door, and up through the cracks in my slab. I'm happy to report that my basement stayed completely dry. Since this job was done in April 2024, I've only had 1 instance of water. I immediately called Basement Flood Protector and, because their work has a 10-year warranty on the exterior and lifetime warranty on the interior, they came out and immediately remedied the situation. No water since. This was a big job that I did a ton of upfront research on and quoted 3 other big/well-known waterproofing companies. The reason I went with Basement Flood Protectors was: 1) Sales Process: John was my contact at Basement Flood Protector. He did not put on the big sales pitch and presentation I got from 2 of the other companies. He was straight shooting and was clearly the expert in waterproofing, not just a sales person. 2) Responsiveness: Basement Flood Protector answered all my follow-up questions and concerns whereas other companies seemed to dance around some questions. As an example, when asking one of the other big competitors the cost for an exterior dig, rather than saying it's not work they do (or want to do) the sales person verbally quoted me some unrealistic/high number. Another major company completely ghosted after I called/emailed 3+ times to try and speak to someone about moving forward with the job (feel like I dodged a bullet there). 3) The price: They were notably better-priced for the work I wanted done. Hope this review helps someone as waterproofing can be intimidating. I had an excellent experience with Basement Flood Protector.

Updated Review as of June 29, 2025…read more We have been trying to contact the company about the cracking in the back patio. They have not responded until I went to Yelp and requested a quote under a fictitious name. The cracking in the back patio creates uneven surface which is especially visible during the winter. They addressed it last year when they were doing our front steps by saying resealing the patio will make it look really nice. The patio only got worse. When they were pouring the back patio, they had to stop. Next day they came in with the jackhammers to take out half patio. I asked what was going on and it was explained that the concrete had too many rocks. Why would you only remove half the patio? The side of the patio that was pored with the new concrete has had no issues. If you want to see real reviews about how this company ghosts customers when the job is below par, check out the reviews for T/S Concrete. The owners changed the name of the company, but Tim and Sheila own both companies. The new company includes their son Matt.

Beware - Poor Drainage Work & No Follow-Through Family…read morebusiness (Matt, Sheila, and Tim). I hired them to pour concrete- All work to be pitched properly for proper water drainage- exactly what our contract stated. Instead, the concrete on one side was pitched toward my house, causing water to come inside. Matt promised twice to come look at it, but was a no-show both times. When I first confronted him about ghosting me, he later called ranting about how busy he was, implying he didn't have time for me. He even said it wasn't his fault my house sits low--yet still took the job (and my payment) without hesitation. This company used to be T/S Concrete with terrible reviews -- the name change doesn't seem to have changed the service. The work looks nice and prices are competitive, but what good is that if it damages your home? If you decide to hire, DO NOT make final payment until you confirm proper drainage. Best of luck.
