Getting set up and paying for the class was super straight forward and they were super responsive and helpful in getting me set up. The studio has beautiful natural lighting, clean floors, and 6 X-poles. The class started with breathwork and warmup. Then we did a free dance which I loved because it helped you get warm enough without needed to do any tricks yet. After that we did a combo, some combo variations, and then ended with another free dance. I love the energy of this studio. The instructor was incredibly welcoming and the students were so fun and encouraging. It's studios like these that make the pole community what it is. They opened shortly before the pandemic so it's awesome to see how much growth their studio has witnessed and that they're still running a great space. If you're in the area, come check out POL!

She really helped me by spotting my movements and showing me how to do it better. The studio is nice with 7 poles and smooth hardwood floors. I do find it strange that they allow more students than the number of poles. The instructor doesn't even have her own pole. So if there are extra students, we would need to share the pole with them and the instructor. For the amount of money we're paying for the classes and the limited time we have, I'd think everyone should have their own poles.

I bought two classes for my roommate for her birthday. Nowhere on the website does it indicate any…read morespecification for gifts. My roommate shows up to take the class and they won't let her take the class despite showing proof that it was paid for and informing them that the classes were a gift. Then, they wouldn't REFUND the class or allow a reschedule, saying "well technically it's used" even though they didn't let her USE THE PASS. Then the manager comes out and is rude, saying "I'm the manager, this is MY store." Manager is rude. Tried redeeming the classes before the 30 days. Really, they just want to take your money. Don't come!! Save your money! edit: i appreciate the apology and your independent review of the footage. however, it was communicated that the class was a gift for her birthday and when asked if the class could be rescheduled or refunded, it was indicated that it was technically used despite being denied entry. While i appreciate that a refund was offered after sending an email, i too wonder how many clients were turned away from reasonable resolutions. changing the review to 2 stars for the apology and refund. wishing you a good rest of your week and better luck with communications in the future. edit 2: upon further review of the reviews left before, it seems like a common practice to enforce unreasonable attendance policies and citing "camera footage" evidence that only management have access to when confronted with reports of unprofessional behavior. seems at least some staff struggle to treat customers with dignity and respect (as a customer do your own due diligence to deduce why they may treat some customers better than others). all in all, probably better to take classes elsewhere but that's just my opinion.

I still felt ridiculous but Katt's energy and supportive goddess vibe was so wonderful that the class flew by and I gradually felt more comfortable. Laura was also very kind in her email communications with me. I'm not sure if I'm a pole girlie but I enjoyed trying something new.

The freshman classes are still more advanced for those who have only taken less than 5 (or no) previous pole classes, but as long as you let the instructor know, they can give you some basic skills to learn. They use mindbody and making reservations online is easy. Free parking lot available. There's 13 poles that do spin. You must bring your own mat. Cubbies are available. I especially enjoyed Candy Cane's freshman pole class, as she pushed us to do our best and taught a fun little routine that we performed at the end of class. Heels are optional. Don't wear lotion to class.

Classes are tough but accessible and attitudes are encouraging. I am an absolute beginner. (Or I was, a couple of months ago, when I started. Now I'm an absolute-minus-a-whisker beginner!) Not only that, I've never been particularly strong or successful in physical activity, or well coordinated, or confident. This isn't just the first place I felt a complete lack of judgment, but the first place that has actually let me develop physical skills. Never been able to do a push-up before and now I can do a few in a row. Never climbed a rope, but I can (almost!) climb a silk. Something else that really stands out is how much instructors pick up on your movements. Several times, I've been given suggestions about how to improve based specifically on how my body works, like trying something first with my left side because I'm left-footed, or the fact that I have some hypermobility. I knew there was something different about the way I moved, but that's the first time I had a word for it. Believe is a great place to learn. The atmosphere is welcoming, encouraging, and accepting. While every class is definitely a workout, it's more like an activity. It's fun and challenging, and writing as someone who has join several gyms and dreaded every workout... I look forward to going every week.

This place is laid-back and has a positive energy, and the teachers and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Zumba classes start at $5 for single sessions, and cheaper if you purchase in packages. Nothing too crazy to rave about, but definitely a good experience.

Only wish the teachers are more consistent- I dont like to be surprised when I show up expecting one teacher only to get another. There are certain teachers that are better in that they break down the steps and are energetic and encouraging, but then there are other teachers that expect you to be J-Lo and the Flygirls, which usually results in the students being confused and just standing there. Hopefully they can retain the better teachers and maintain the consistency that I'm looking for. Another thing is that the schedules seem to always change. I'm noticing its on a monthly basis, but it makes it hard to commit when the times keep changing.

Even group classes that can sometimes be bleak at other spots were fun and engaging, partially because Bevin builds a community. I never tried the Pilates section, but I only hear great things about it. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a stellar local workout spot with wonderful people to brighten up your existence.

I honestly haven't seen any studios focusing on TRX classes alone and I was pretty stoked when I got the deal. First off, Studio U is located on Abbot Kinney just down the street from my favorite spinning studio, YAS. I'm shocked that I never knew this place existed and I literally drive by everyday. I guess I was really lucky on my first visit t there was one other student beside me. The instructor, Bevin is knowledgeable, patient and very nice...she watched our every move, form and reminded us to keep breathing. The entire session was literally like a semi-private. My body definitely remembered the moves and I'm sure I'll be feeling sore tomorrow. You can sign up for classes online and there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Bevin was understanding the first time I canceled due to a last minute conference call I had at work with Asia. I understand now why they need such a lengthy period of time for cancellation as the class sizes are really small. Nevertheless, I will definitely be coming back here.

I signed up for the introductory 3 classes to try out some of what they offered and by the 2nd class I knew I was going to get the monthly membership! The studio is so peaceful, the instructors are kind, skilled, and all teach so well. The music is fantastic in every class and the different workshops they offer are so interesting and I look forward to going to all of them! The owner, Lara, is so nice and helpful and is a really good yoga instructor! I love all the teachers at this studio. I highly recommend Yoga Bliss and I'm so grateful to find a place I'm so aligned with!
