There's two components to this review- the doctors themselves and the way the office is run. Dr Soza - who has since left this practice for Wexler Dermatology - is an ANGEL. Can't recommend her enough. The office itself is mismanaged and it's staff is astonishingly rude. They insist you prepay $150 for your appointment but then don't refund you the difference after your insurance is processed. I have a complaint processing with the Better Business Bureau that they refuse to acknowledge. Just give me my money back!! read more

My previous review was removed. Posting again. I was first seen at Sadick Dermatology at the Park Ave location for 2 years by a physician (who no longer works there) who confirmed what I had been told 4 years prior about spots to my scalp - that it was psoriasis. Despite being unresponsive to steroids, she never performed a biopsy or investigated further. In 2021, I switched to the W 15th St. location where the "psoriasis" was diagnosed as basal cell carcinoma under a new MD. They recommended a MOHs surgeon who comes to their office. The incision healed horribly due to stitches opening up; they claimed I was allergic to stitches, though I have never had a problem before. This has left a much larger scar than necessary. The office then billed my procedure under Neil Sadick, whom I've never met and is out-of-network (unlike my actual derm & the MD who performed the procedure), leaving me to pay a good portion out of pocket. So - after letting cancer sit on my scalp for 2 years, they provided a suboptimal procedure & result, that I had to pay for. After weeks of phone calls with their office & my insurance, they have been unable to resolve this payment issue. They are using and recommending a MOHs surgeon who will be rejected by insurance because he is nonparticipating with the Tax ID # of their facility. I'm fairly certain it is not legal to bill a procedure under a MD who did not perform the procedure but they do not seem to care. I was told "at least I have my health" by their front desk. I've since had a second MOHs procedure at another office with zero issues, including with the stitches. Aside from Dr. Soza, who I think is a great dermatologist, I could not recommend a dermatologist office any less. read more

My skin has never looked SO GOOD! I saw Dr. Gabriela Soza via telemedicine to get help with my hormonal acne that had previously been under control with spironolactone but began flaring up again. She was super knowledgeable and walked me through all of the products she recommended to get my skin back on track. The medicine she prescribed was specially formulated to address my skin concerns and was specially compounded at a pharmacy and shipped straight to my home. It's been 3 weeks since I've been on her treatment plan and my skin has never looked this good. All of my texture and bumps are gone and my skin is glowing! I can't thank Dr. Soza enough. I have been seeing derm P.A. Liz Choe for several years now and have only had great experiences. She is very thorough when doing my skin checks which I appreciate. I have also recently started going to her for my Botox and juvederm injections. What I think sets her apart from other dermatologists is her ability to make you still look natural. Was given a price range for a procedure over the phone but when I got there was given a completely different quote. It was for a self pay dermatologic procedure - NOT cosmetic. Of course they gave this new quote AFTER they took the consultation fee just to be seen. $275 lost in minutes of seeing the doctor to then be given a number I couldn't afford. They didn't even have the decency to stick by the original quote which is why I went there in the first place. DISGRACEFUL. Horrible service! They are only trying to sell you Botox, laser, or there own products. I made an appointment to help with some facial acne but instead was offer rosacea laser and Botox for my forehead during the visit. Super impressed with my experience at Sadick Dermatology. I've been to many dermatologists in Manhattan & Brooklyn, and this was truly the best yet. Liz Choe was extremely thorough doing a full body scan. She also gave a great consult for injections as well as prescriptions for ongoing dermatological issues I have. She had no trouble picking up where my last dermatologist left off. The front desk was thorough and took care of my many prescriptions and sent them to the correct pharmacy. I went to see Dr. Ferzli for a consultation for my forehead wrinkles and ended up getting my first Botox injections and I've never been happier. The results finally kicked in after a few days and it looks so good and natural! She took her time with me and I didn't feel rushed at all. I had the absolute worst experience in this office with Elizabeth Choe. I went in recently to check a rash that had developed on my body. When the nurse first saw me and spoked to me in the private room, she said "yeah just by looking at you I'm getting itchy" and proceeded to look at her shoes and gave me minimal eye contact. I couldn't believe she said that and had 0 bedside manner. When the doctor came in, she stayed 6 minutes precisely. Before I even got a sentence out, she said, "it's bugs". She said, " you have bugs in your house, call an exterminator there isn't much I can do" and didn't even ask follow up questions regarding my condition. I asked her what if it's not that, and she again said, "it's bugs". She then smirked and walked out of the room and didn't bother speaking to me any further. I was very offended and treated a certain way because of my appearance. I will be filing a complaint with Dr. Choe and the nurse who saw me. To confirm- I had two exterminators come to my home and it was NOT bed bugs. I went to my primary care doctor and she was shocked as to how I was treated at this facility!! read more

I adore Dr. Ferzli. She is incredible with cosmetic procedures, and I always feel like I am in good hands. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and tailor a treatment plan to your needs. My recent issue with them is that the office refused to send my prescription to my local Rite Aid, although I asked them several times to do so. They immediately send it to whatever pharmacy they (probably) have a deal with. The front desk says, "Oh, this pharmacy gives better prices," even though this is completely untrue. The staff was very rude about this whole process, including the receptionist who said on the phone, "Oh, trust me, I really don't care what pharmacy you use." But then why don't you just send it to where I ask? And initially, why even ask me which pharmacy I prefer, and ask me to look up the pharmacy details, when you have NO intention of using them? If someone can explain why a medical office is SO reluctant to use Rite Aid (or any other pharmacy) and ONLY go with their own pharmacy, I would appreciate it. I just don't trust what this office tells me. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the way I was treated by the medical staff at Sadick Dermatology. Due to COVID, I am not in Manhattan and wanted to speak with the doctor to see if I would have to come in for an appointment, to not waste everyone's time. After three days of trying to chase them to get the doctor on the phone, which I understand times are busy these days, but don't tell me she is going to call me and I never hear from her and have to chase. I finally got Dr. Ferzli on the phone who practically rushed me off the phone and told me there was nothing she could do I would have to come into the office. The receptionist then told me it would cost $350 for a consult for what I wanted done even though the doctor already told me that would be the best treatment for what I needed. I have been a regular patient at this practice since 2013. I have had several surgeries and minor procedures and appreciated the continuity in care and medical records. After I made an appointment recently, I received a voicemail saying that my new insurance was not covered and that my appointment was canceled. Dr. Ferzli came highly recommended from a few friends of mine. However, I have found that her service is lacking in a few ways. First, she did not warn me of any potential negative side effects of a cream she prescribed. Unfortunately, I suffered these negative side effects and she told me afterward that, "Oh, that's so rare, I guess you're one of the rare patients to experience that." Not so rare after all. The medication she prescribed was pricey and I could only use it once. Second, she said that I could receive a refund for the medication, but after speaking to her medical staff and the pharmacy, it appears she provided me with false information and I wasn't able to get a refund at all. Furthermore, the front desk staff did not have the greatest attitude in helping me with this frustrating situation and never sent the second prescription to the correct place. Overall, it was a very poor experience and I will not be returning to see Dr. Ferzli or the Sadick dermatology office. read more

I am obsessed with skincare treatments. I've tried many services all over New York City, ranging from $50 to $500, and the combo filler/botox treatment I had by Dr. Radha Mikkilineni at Sadick Dermatology was one of the best investments Ive made. Dr. Mikkilineni had a really calm presence, she was not rushy or pushy at all. She carefully examined my face and quickly crafted a personalized treatment of botox and fillers for around my eyes, between eyebrows, and around the lips. It was exactly the kind of custom treatment I didn't even expect tp have presented to me. She was gentle and caring during the treatment and I could see natural results immediately. She also asked me a lot of questions on my current skincare routine and how it changes through the seasons. You could tell she really cares about her clients. Next day I woke up looking fresh without visible signs of "something done"; my face looks like I just came back from great vacation.
