Came here for lip filler and Botox. Great natural results. It was my first time visiting them and they treated me very kindly. I also loved my new look and I plan on setting up my second appointment soon :) I recommend trying them out. read more

I initially chose this place because of the great Google reviews, but unfortunately, my personal experience was disappointing. I had high expectations based on what I read, but my experience did not live up to those expectations. I went here to treat my small spider veins and rosacea. Unfortunately, the treatments always felt very rushed, every laser treatment was four minutes IF. I initially agreed to pay $750 and signed the paperwork, but I ended up being charged $800 each time. This was frustrating because the price difference was never clearly explained to me. After four sessions, I continued telling the doctor that my veins were still there. They were small to begin with, so I was expecting better results. At my fourth appointment, the doctor finally did something different to address the veins, but by that point I was already disappointed with the results and the overall experience. Overall, I left feeling that the treatments were too rushed, my concerns were not adequately addressed, and the cost was not as transparent as I expected. Based on my personal experience, I would not return. read more

It appears that the Thermage that Dr. Green's technician performed on me made me look worse - eradicated some fat from my cheeks. Had to be persistent with her front office ppl in order to get them to let me meet with the doctor for a followup, during which Dr. Green would not even pull up the before & after pictures to give the situation a think. Considering she charges more than most NYC docs for Thermage, etc, one would think she'd stand by her/her technician's work. I never leave reviews, but I really really wish I'd heeded Dr. G's other reviews. read more

I've been going to Dr.Green for over 20 years. She is extremely open, welcoming and discerning. With out a doubt, her greatest quality is her willingness to listen to her patients. She keeps up to date with current practices and is always on the cutting edge within her industry. I am completely confident and satisfiied with her care. Dr Green is assisted by the wonderful Dita! Dita is bright, cheerful and brings a joyful lightheartedness to the office. Dita, is extremely competent and skilled. I am always pleased/confident in her abilities. ( I sometimes find myself lingering after my appointment because I enjoy her company!) Dr. Green, Dita and of course Sophia make a dynamic team which I will continue to use for many years to come!! read more

Wonderful, caring staff who really take time to help patients. They actually care about your experience and outcomes. Highly recommend! I especially appreciate the time and effort Sophia took to help answer all my questions and really explain the full journey of the procedure. Highly recommend. read more

Do NOT recommend this place - they try to up-sell you from the moment you walk in the door, the doctor does not spend more than 5 minutes with you, she does not listen to your skin concerns, and is only concerned with charging you as much as possible. After my first appointment, the doctor recommended Accutane even though my skin does not break out anymore, and my concerns were my acne scarring. They wanted me to come back for Accutane followups that would be $600 per visit on a monthly basis. I ended up doing two eMatrix treatments with her (much more expensive than I've seen elsewhere) and every time she spent less than 5 minutes with me before chatting away with her assistant my entire appointment time. After my laser treatment, when I mentioned to an assistant that I wanted to treat my spider veins, without even letting me talk to the doctor, they tried to get me to do an additional laser treatment on the spot. They moved me to a treatment room and put the release forms in my hands to sign, and were trying to rush me into doing the treatment without having the doctor speak to me. This is so unethical - the doctor did not even look at my face to see if I was a good fit for it. Do not come here. read more

If anyone benefited from this office services , it's probably by luck! This doctor has no compassion and LOVE for anything she does in that office! Her and her staff have good skills in ripping off ppl money. There is no customized approach, it's just a meat market. I m blessed that they let me learned that and that allowed me not to proceed with their services by a small loss of $500. They don't even deserve one star. God bless and wishing everyone to come across compassionate, understanding and loving ppl read more

I've been seeing Dr. Green for almost 2 years now, and she is one of the best dermatologist in the city! She has a very nice bedside manner, recommends and offers cosmetic treatments that I need to look my best (without being pushy), and her staff is incredibly friendly. I've been seeing her for toxin, fillers and laser treatments, and my skin has never looked better. I even have several of my friends and neighbors going to her now as well. I'd highly recommend Dr. Green! read more

I spent about 12k for acne scar treatments, more than 2k a treatment. The result was very very slight, maybe brightened up the complexion a bit but the acne scars still look very bumpy, still real and visible. For every treatment I received, I had hoped "oh maybe this one will finally show the result..." but nope! Nothing really improved. What I am most upset about is the doctor's terrible bedside manner and lack of any care for me. During every treatment, she completely ignored my existence and started chatting and complaining about the building management company (?) or some irrelevant topics with her assistant,,, almost always seems to be complaining about someone with her assistant, AS THOUGH I WAS NOT THERE in the room with them. I felt cringey and extremely uncomfortable...during the treatment she never once asked how I felt about the progress, what she could do better to achieve the desired result etc. She just goes on with her assistant about irrelevant chatting while I drop more than 2k for a few minutes of a treatment. It also led me to question about the very uncertain and random duration of treatments. I am spending 2k for three minutes on one day, but five minutes on other for the same price? She never used a timer when a minute of treatment is costing me so much money. While most of her assistants seemed very nice enough, one assistant joked in front of me about patients, who come in for hair growth treatments etc. That was beyond horrible to hear. They should never joke about the treatments any patients are getting or the condition they are suffering. The staff and the doctor constantly made me feel very uncomfortable, selling me pricy products without sharing the price tags or sharing the breakdown on the receipt(they only share the total), which I bought without any questions, until I realized how much each thing costed. read more

I have been fortunate enough to have Dr. Green as my Dermatologist for over 15 years. She has helped me as a diagnostician and is someone I can talk to when I have medical concerns. She found a specialist when I needed surgery for a melanoma (actually two) and when I had a rash that turned out to be dermatological lupus. Both of these issues have been resolved because of her guidance. She is the one to call if you have medical concerns and need an excellent diagnostician. She is also well known for her skincare and expertise in perking and plumping areas that need it. Fortunately, I haven't needed that yet. Her staff is lovely, and when you walk into the waiting room, you feel like you are in the right place. read more

I would avoid this doctor!!! She overcharges, over promises and, under delivers. I went to her for a simple procedure, or so I thought. When I had a problem, she refused to see me. Her office eventually called me and were "kind" enough to schedule a 10-minute appointment 3 months later!!!!! read more

Dr. Green was not warm at all. Her assistant was so kind, but Dr. Green was not comforting at all. I have some dark spots that I developed due to 6 sessions of resurfacing laser treatments, I told her that I followed all the recommendation given by the lady who did my laser. I wear sunscreen and a hat. I told her that I went to get this treatment because I wanted to shrink my pores and that I wanted flawless skin, she looked at me like oh well, that's what you get. I just remember feeling awkward. At the end they told me to buy two anti-aging serum ? why ? I had explained to her that I was mainly concerned about my dark spots. To make a long story short, I paid $700 for this visit to speak to a rude and greedy doctor. I will never step foot in that office. At least be kind if you're going to charge an arm and a leg to speak to you for 5 minutes! read more

I have been going to dermatologists for 9 years and nobody has been able to get rid of my scars except Dr. Green who literally got rid of them within the first ten minutes of seeing me. Her & everyone there are always sooo nice! read more

Surprised by some of the negative reviews here. I have seen Dr. Green dozens of times and have found her and some of her staff (especially Dita) to be great. Super friendly and attentive. In fact, I did have an issue with one receptionist (now gone) and I reached out to the doctor about my concern and she contacted me personally to apologize and address my concerns. I never felt pressured into unnecessary treatments (in fact she's told me I don't need x when I brought it up). And the results have been good. Most doctors who do cosmetic treatments in NYC require consultation fees, it's just how it. read more

I was told vbeem would remove my red veins on my cheek, nose, and chin. I was also told it would be 3 treatments. The Dr said "easy peasy". Well it didn't work and I kept going back. After 5 months I still had the veins. I wanted a refund. Never heard from the office again. Another doctor zapped the veins at no cost. A shame because other facial treatments were excellent. Nothing like being ripped off. read more

Dr. Greene is an expert in her field. She's well seasoned and knew exactly what I needed. She is not forceful when it comes to Dermatoligist procedures. I highly recommend ! The workers at the front desk were very knowledgeable as well. They help keep the office flowing. The waiting room area is on the smaller side, however very comfy. The office policy is very strict so make sure you adhere to the rules ! Attached is the office policy to help secure your visit. read more

Michele Green, MD - Dermatologists Near Me - New York, New York

You will not find a more talented and personable Dermatologist in all of New York City. Dr. Green is a professional who utilizes a completely custom approach when it comes to her patients. The individual attention you receive when you step through the doors from her and her staff is remarkable. Apart from being the best Dermatologist I have been to she is truly an amazing person who cares deeply about the well being of her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Green to anyone looking for the best Botox and fillers. I got so many compliments from family and friends. Thanks Dr. Green read more

I have been following Dr. Green's Instagram for a while so I had no question about where I would go. Dr. Green and Sophia answered every question and concern I had and thoroughly explained the treatment and what to expect, aftercare, etc. It's so crazy how something as subtle as a little Restylane and Dysport in the right place could make such a difference. My biggest regret is that I didn't do this sooner!! Sophia and Dita were so kind and accommodating, the office was immaculately kept, and they offer a wide variety of services, I can't wait to try in the future. read more

Dr Green charges a $300 initial consultation even if you get a procedure that day. I was not made aware of this fee before my appointment nor does it state this on her website. I went there to get a medium depth peel to treat some uneven skin tone from sun damage. I have had peels before with good results. Our "consultation" was spent discussing previous treatments and then overselling her services. She kept pushing a treatment plan including lasers although I said my skin didn't respond well in the past. She put the chemical on for about a minute and then took it off although my skin didn't frost. The nurse directed me to the desk with $1100 worth of Dr Green's products. The treatment plan she suggested was alternating light peels with laser therapy every 2 weeks totaling over 2000/month. I saw absolutely ZERO results from the peel because my skin never peeled. Complete waste of my time and $800. Dr green is all about the money and I would not recommend her services. read more

I really don't get it. I had an excellent experience here. 3 removals total, plus biopsies and a $200 bill from the lab as expected. One of the removals was from my face and at no time did I experience ANY scarring. But best of all no "creative" billing experiences here, like I have had at many urgent cares and less reputable physicians. On a personal note- I rather enjoyed her direct, dry sense of humor. She is an incredible wealth of information and its reassuring to know I have a physician that really goes after the medical issue at hand, meanwhile no one pressured me to buy anything or do anything I don't want or need. If for some reason, I had a serious skin problem or concern Dr. Green would be my first call. read more

It has been hard to find the right dermatologist. Since my last one retired I have been looking for the right one to address my skin conditions. Others suggested "quick fixes" that were too good to be true, as I have had this issue for several years and have been looking for a treatment that works long term, but was aware it can require several treatments. For example, I have tried microdermabrasion prior with limited success. Earlier this year I found Dr. Green and have been seeing her now for close to six months. She recommended a series of five lasers over the course of the last six months and with each successive treatment my scars have gradually diminished with only some light redness and swelling which took about a couple of days to recover from. Overall, I have been extremely happy with the results of the treatments and would recommend Dr. Green and her staff. She listened to all my questions and was very realistic about my situation and gave me a treatment program which was able to give me great results. read more

I went to Dr. Green for PRP treatments to stimulate hair growth. On a personal level, I saw serious results after just 2 months (and I still had a third treatment on the books, to help it along even more); the photos showed how much thicker my hair had gotten in addition to dormant follicles regenerating again. On a professional level, I so looked forward to each visit because Dr. Green and her entire staff are so down to earth and hilarious. They make the visit FUN, and also are good at making light of whatever procedure you're doing. They take away any stress and make you feel really comfortable. I wish I could go back more often! read more

I cannot stress enough how pleasant my office visit was with Dr Green. Her staff is by far one of the best, so knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly regarding Kybella. I visited Dr. Green's practice to treat my skin from previous sun damage. This was done when I was in New York for a few weeks, since more options are available there, while back here, there are not many dermatologists nearby, so it was good to fit this in when I was in the area. My experience with Dr. Green was a good one, I found her professional and very helpful. While I already had some ideas in what I wanted for reversing some of these effects - since I have probably spent more than my share of time in the sun over the years, Dr. Green recommended Thermage and Fraxel treatment for my sun damaged skin. She explained everything thoroughly to me and I didn't feel pressured into having any additional work done, plus I didn't have any downtime and was feeling fine later that day. Both Dr. Green and her staff were extremely friendly, patient and efficient. I would use Dr. Green again in the future if I ever require any other treatments and am in the NYC area again. read more

FINALLY, someone who knows what they are doing! Michele is absolutely amazing as far as derms go, trust me I've seen my fair share. I don't have major problems with my skin, but I definitely have a few breakouts occasionally and for some reason Laser hair removal wasn't really taking. As soon as I walked into Michele's office I thought something was different. It wasn't commercial and modern, it was comfortable and as another reviewer noted, refreshing. Michele really takes the time to figure out what the problem is, she isn't interested in tossing a ton of messy topicals at you and hoping it works. She thought that maybe I had a hormone imbalance and made me get the blood work. Turns out I definitely do. Seeing her convinced me that my current doctors are all quacks and I found another internist who has the same type of approach. Talking to the patient, not spending 10 minutes with you and then going to the next like an assembly line at a factory. One thing I was concerned with when I had my first appointment, was that I knew she had her own line of skin care products. I was worried that she would push me to purchase things I didn't necessarily need. My fear was completely unfounded. When I asked her about a cleanser she said "The one you are using is great and I wouldn't switch". She doesn't push her own line on you unless its something that you actually need. Additionally, her products are reasonably priced, so when you do buy something from her, you are getting a great product at a reasonable price. If it helps at all, even my oh so picky mother (Who likes no doctor I've ever seen) wants to shake Michele's hand. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a genius dermatologist and great skin! read more

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Green! Dr. Green was knowledgeable and straightforward in her explanations and was a joy to talk to. I was very pleased with the treatment received and her staff was lovely to interact with. Would recommend Dr. Green in a heartbeat! read more

I would not recommend Dr. Green for anyone experiencing acne. As a teenager, age 15, I was put on the antibiotic Keflex and was on it for 4+ years. There was neither a discussion about its effect on my health nor was there any oversight about its prescription continually. This destroyed my gut by the time i was 20, and it has taken many years, doctors, and integrative medicine to help the issues that were caused by this. She may be an expert in cosmetic procedures and skin cancer, but my god I would never wish it upon anyone to see her concerning acne. read more

I completely agree with the negative reviews about Dr. Michele Green. After every service, I felt myself wondering what I actually paid for and if I actually got what I paid for? During my first treatment she said I needed 3 treatments to achieve the results I wanted, by my second visit she forgot what she said and kept adding more to what I needed to achieve the same results I was initially told I would get. She talks to her staff while performing treatments and totally makes it a joke - horrible bed side manner. I actually questioned if she injected what she said the second time. She also treats money as if it's nothing by up selling you every time to 4x what you agreed to for the same results. I searched long and hard for the best doctors, and I don't know how she has some of the great reviews she has. Maybe she used to be good. I definitely would not recommend her after my two treatments with her. Maybe if you have endless funds and are willing to give her 4x what you expected to pay than she does a good job? I can't comment on that because I did not go back after my second visit. read more

I should have left the moment I walked in. I smiled at the receptionist and said hi. She didn't return my smile, barely responded to my greeting and turned away from me so I had to wait for a minute for her to her turn back to me so that I could check in for my appointment. The office wasn't busy. I was the only client in the waiting room and the phones weren't ringing. There were about 5 women at the reception desk, just chatting with each other. I finally got to tell her who I was and was given forms to fill out. After I filled out the forms, I returned to the counter to give them my forms. All the girls noticed me walking up to them, but they continued talking to each other and just watched me, no one moved forward to help me. So I said, could someone take these forms for me? And eventually one of the girls did, but it wasn't they realized that they were there to work and help the customer type of energy. It was weird and not friendly. After waiting about 30 minutes for my appointment, I was finally shown into a room. The assistant was nice and chatty. She mentioned to me that she was surprised at how old I was because I looked much younger like in my 20s (I'm 45) and that all the girls behind the reception desk were also talking about how surprised they were about my age and other stuff. I found it strange that the girls who had no interest in helping me had so much to say about me. The doctor came in in a rush. I had read reviews on yelp about her and had some expectations. I kept hearing really good things about her - good derm, nice, chatty, warm, helpful. She wasn't. She looked at my skin and in less than 5 minutes she recommended for me two products from her line and gave me some brochures and wrote down prices and number of treatments for them. She didn't explain what they were or what other options I had. She did tell me that if her products didn't work for me that nothing else would help me. She wasn't being mean, I think she thought she was being honest and helpful. She didn't spend much time with me and her explanations were brief and perfunctory considering her $300 consultation fee. Also when we were talking I kept feeling like she was faking interest in my concerns. I've edited this review because I wrote earlier that I thought the reason why everyone (except the assistant) was acting so weird with me was I thought I was being discriminated against because I am Asian. I thought about it and I realized that I actually don't know why they were acting that way and it isn't fair of me to accuse them without knowing for sure. However I do know that my visit was bewildering, very disappointing and expensive. read more

Dr. Green was suggested to me by a friend when I wanted to just 'freshen up' my look. With a milestone birthday coming up, I thought I deserved it! I could not recommend Dr. Michele Green enough. She was gentle and considerate and knew exactly what I needed to get the desired result. Her team made me feel relaxed and at ease and never once did I regret my decision. Without going into too much detail, a little Sculptra here, a little Dysport here and a little Restylane there... she is a magician. Cant recommend her and her team enough! read more

Dr. Green is really good. I spent a lot of money at previous dermatologists on various lasers that were supposed to help with wrinkles and sunspots, but barely made a difference (if at all). So I didn't have high hopes when I went to Dr. Green and she suggested a different laser I hadn't yet tried yet for dark spots. BUT, this thing worked like MAGIC. Like an eraser. She's also really nice, gentle, doesn't keep you waiting, etc. ALSO had a previous dermatologist tell me I wasn't a candidate for undereye fillers but Dr. Green disagreed. I was nervous that maybe my original dermatologist was right and I would be disappointed. But I am so so so happy with the results and just wish I had done it sooner! read more

The doctor is very chatty and makes you feel comfortable. However, she disses other doctors while chatting with you. I had fractional laser on my face in September. I was told it would take a few days for the peeling to be completed. Well, it was 2 weeks, not a few days. I now see no change and when I had initially asked if I would need more than one treatment with this laser, I was told they couldn't tell me until they saw how I responded to the first treatment. Well, I now know that no one gets just one treatment. When I came back for the follow-up, Dr. Greene looked at my face and said "I'm very happy." Well, glad she is! But I see no change at all. Then they wanted to set me up with more appointments for additional treatments, which I'm sure they knew I would need for any change to truly occur, when they first recommended this laser. At $1500 a pop, I decided not to continue. If they had been honest in the first place this would have been fine. But they weren't. read more

My experience at Dr. Michelle Green's office was one of the most dismissive, brief, uninterested, and discouraging encounters I have had. She not only told me that there was nothing that could be done to help me but then convinced me to buy some overpriced cream her office was selling at the time that could help. She was with me for no more than 5 minutes and the entire time seemed totally uninterested in engaging with me. I have since come to find out from research that there are countless remedies (though none permanent) to my condition (keratosis pilaris), that it does indeed have a name - she couldn't be bothered to tell me - perhaps she didn't know what it was, and it is extremely common. read more

Dr. Green continues to wow me with her bedside manner, professionalism and expertise. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Green recently. She is so kind and her staff made me feel so comfortable before my fraxel laser treatment.
