I am from Rhode Island and have been traveling all the way to New York City several times a month to see him after having a major complication from a filler injection. I had an excellent experience today at Sadick Dermatology. Both Dr. Sadick and his nurse Flor were outstanding. They took their time, were caring, and understanding. I made an appointment for an identified rash on my leg. They were conservative with their approach but did a fungal culture and a Lyme test to make sure I didn't contract Lyme Disease. When I called that the prescribed medication wasn't covered by my insurance and would have cost me $150 , they gave me a $20 alternative. I was very impressed and satisfied. read more

I would like to give negative stars!!! Absolutely the worst care I've ever received EVER. The office is so mismanaged, this is the third time I've come into my appointment on time to be welcomed with a wait over an hour- and TWICE after waiting I never saw the doctor!!! Have mixed reviews about this place. Went to Dr Ferzli several times based on a recommendation from a friend. She is great, smart, nice, fun, and has good technique. It's expensive, but that's ok if the service is good. However, have had appointments cancelled, and have had to wait over an hour in the patient room to be seen, even when I showed up on time. Having to wait plus the cost made me go elsewhere. Wish Dr Ferzli also would go someplace else. read more

I had been a patient with Saddick Dermatology for three years. Last year, there were scheduling problems on their end. This year, scheduling changes were made without my knowledge or consent for the 2nd time. The front office will not contact you with changes in a Doctor's schedule or what services they provide. Which leaves you hanging about your appointment and who you are supposed to see. Dr. Ferzli was an excellent Doctor - but apparently, she changed her patient offerings and I no longer qualify as her patient. As I stood there, utterly baffled by his peculiar behavior, looking towards his clinics staff for some recognition of how awful he was being to me, they just looked at me completely dead eyed. Leads me to believe they are themselves treated pretty badly, or just so used to this behavior they've become indifferent. Definitely don't go here if you're a highly sensitive person, this man is an energy vampire. Laughable that he had the nerve to say 99% of his patients he treats are happy. 1-would not listen to my concerns 2-interrupted me numerous times 3- did not answer my specific questions 4-seemed as though he wanted to leave the room 1 minute into the consultation, I actually had to ask him like are you okay do you need to leave 5-when I questioned his rationale for his recommendation, the answer I got was "maybe you should see someone else" 6- when I asked why he'd say that to me, his response was "because I think you won't be happy with your results" when I asked why, his response was "because I know you"... ummm you've only seen me once before what on earth would make you say that? "Because you came here unhappy with results" (from another practitioner) 7-gave me zero objective feedback on the actual condition of my skin or any plan of care, oh other than to say that "you look deflated" ...nice To be clear, I followed his recommendation on my first visit, even paying extra $500 for ultrasound to assist him at his advice. Of course during his initial consultation, he touted his ability to provide much more superior results and if I'd come back to him he'd fix me up. No clue as to why he treated me like he did when I came back. Felt completely insulted and abandoned by someone who'd promised to help me. What a way to treat people looking for your help. i can't say enough kind words about my service here, the rash i had on my face where the mask covers had gotten a bit out of control but the cream prescribed by Dr Ferzli took it right away. 10 years with the team here and i have to say i have no plans on leaving, I recommend all of my friends here. Even strangers that compliment me on my skin and how youthful i look im always ready to pass on this info to them. Hair Skin and nail repair does take some time and if you're willing to be diligent about your treatments then your results will show. I especially love the laser facials that make my skin glow! I've been receiving treatments at this locale for about six months. Today is the last time I'll step foot in their office. The treatment by members of the the office staff has truly been deplorable, almost from the very start. Appointments canceled because of multiple mistakes with insurance; phone calls or emails not returned for more than a week; refusal to apologize and a casual indifference; these are just examples of the poor treatment I've received over the course of my relationship with Sadick Dermatology. I continued to seek treatment because they are so close to work and home and have very expensive equipment that is difficult to find, but I refuse to continue to pay to be treated this way. I went to this office (Park Avenue) in February 2020 and they did a biopsy of an atypical freckle on my back. I was told I would be scheduled for an excision to check whether it was cancerous despite it being the start of the pandemic. I assumed it would be canceled but got no answer when calling the office and I received a text to confirm my appointment. When I got to the office it was closed and no one ever answered my multiple calls/emails for an explanation or to reschedule (obviously had no idea how long the pandemic would last at this point.) I had to call when offices started opening up recently to request my records because I found a great new dermatologist office (Weill Cornell) and never received an apology from any doctor for never following up with me and the office staff I spoke with were so rude. Omg where do I start!!! Amazing !!! Samantha Danesi did my face today. I am beyond happy and she exceeded my expectations. I went to see what I could do to rejuvenate my youth before a mini face lift I was going to do in June-- (I'm 36 and transgender -- from bone surgery I have saggy chin/jaw area- plus I've lost 60 lbs) -- Samantha is an artist-- she saw my face and knew exactly what to do. She saved me 10k dollars- my face no longer looks saggy- she also did my lower lip to match my top one. And even Botox on my chin-- my chin always crossed my mind- but didn't know the wrinkles could be sustained from Botox.. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to appear the best they can without looking "done". She also does herself-- she's 42 but looks 26!!! So of course I trusted her off the bat. I had a rash in my face, probably due to excessive mask use. After asking me if I may also want liposuction treatment (I am not really obese) a female doctor with a very nice dress came and had a look. It turns out all that was really impressive about the treatment was the dress. The diagnosis was wrong and so was the treatment. The cream they gave me did not help at all. After a couple of months I went to a real doctor and got the right diagnosis -- rosacea - and the right treatment. Then more than a year later I received a phone call that I needed to fork over $25 for co-pay via credit car. No proper invoice. When I protested I was told that this will now go to collections. Excuse me? Then after several months I got an invoice which I promptly paid. I found that they charged me another dollar processing fee. I'd stay away from that place. I've had a number of procedures here and found Dr. Sadick to be consistently warm, kind and caring, and his entire team is absolutely lovely--each and every one of the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease (even during some very uncomfortable procedures). I was nervous and pretty uptight on my first visit, but everyone took the time to walk me through the available treatments, clearly explain what all my options were, map out a proposed plan of treatment, then gave me plenty of time to consider it all--no pressure. As a previous employee I can say this is not the office you should go to if you need to be seen that day or even that week. If you say there's an emergency they may tell you to just come in but you will be waiting for a while in the lobby or patient room. My main concern was when Dr Sadick came in to work without a mask, seeing patients all day, with COVID. Yes, he did indeed have COVID, didn't tell his patients that he saw that day and was very hesitant to close the office for a few days. The office was said to have been professionally cleaned during that closed time and I'll assure you, it was not. This place is extremely disorganized and they really, truly only care about your money. Except Dr Ferzli, she's a gem and needs to leave this wretched place. This is the worst doctor's office I've ever been! Doctor Soza was incompetent and the front desk women are soooo rude that she hung up my phone, refuse to help me, gave me long face when I arrived, and had me wait for over 10 minutes every time. When I finished with doctor but forgot something and ask the nurse to double check with the doctor, she refused and said "if you heard that's two month, just come back in 2 month"... why I say the doctor is incompetent? because the first time I met her, she started to write down a whole paper of prescription, and the second I asked "what about using accutane?" She immediately remove the paper and throw it away and said "oh I like accutane, let's do accutane!" excuse me...? I am not the doctor, you can't just listen to whatever I said..... anyway, once I am done with this treatment, i will never come back again..... read more

UPDATE: I received a call from Dr. Sadick today to apologize, and appreciate him taking the time to do so. Since I left this review, it took another week to get a response from the Sadick team. The staff told me that I could not receive a prescription without a follow-up appointment. I totally understand! I explained that I just needed someone to call me back to tell me that. Dr. Sadick said that the team is updating their phone system, which could be why my calls went unanswered. I'm giving them another shot (and 4 stars) because their doctors are wonderful. --------- I've been a client of this dermatology group for at least 5 years. In that time, I've seen 3 dermatologists and all of them were/are fantastic. The reason I'm writing is that, during the pandemic, I've avoided scheduling appointments for safety reasons. And up until October, I was able to refill my prescription easily. As of February, I haven't been able to reach any doctor and CVS hasn't been able to reach them to refill my prescription either. I've called several times a week, left voicemails, and had no response. So now I'm going cold turkey on a medication that isn't supposed to be handled that way. I'm so disappointed because I truly loved this place and recommended it to all my friends. I'm so confused. Are they even open? I called both facilities to no avail. Now, I'm not even able to reach their voicemail. Dr. Ferzli/Team Sadick Dermatology, what's going on here? I had a HORRIBLE experience here, with a doctor under this clinic. The doctor who saw me was very rude and after a 20 min appointment with two mole tests,billed me $1500!! I had to pay the majority through my credit card. I think it is ridiculous to bill me this much and give me no warning that the costs could be this high. There is absolutely no accountability here. Additionally, when I called to protest these charges, they didn't budge at all and blamed it on my insurance. It's irrelevant what insurance I have. They still sent $1500 of expenses to my insurance. I had the worst most horrible experience at this practice. The front desk staff is incompetent, unhelpful and downright rude. They hung up up on me several times when I called to ask why my medical appointments with Dr. Ferzli were canceled last minute. When I was finally able to get hold of a staff member I was told that she no longer accepted insurance but when I asked for instructions regarding several prescription medications she had prescribed they cut me off without any response. I was upset with the lack of notification in the change of insurance acceptance and/or policy of the practice. Knowing I am traveling from NJ, I was not informed of the policy change prior to my appointment and upon checking in I was embarrassed with having to leave or pay out of pocket. I did months and months and months of research to find the perfect dermatologist, as I am super selective about the doctors that I choose. Dr. Ferzli is a godsend. I can't say enough good things about her. The office was clean and very trendy. I only waited about 10 minutes in waiting room and then about 5 in the room which is unheard of in NYC practices. It was great. My experience started with her before I even came in, because she gave me a call two days before to ask me what I was coming in for to make sure that she was going to have enough time... Seriously so considerate. So, we moved my appointment to the afternoon after that conversation so she would have enough time for what I needed done. I appreciated that right from the start. She cares. Then I got to meet her in person and was even more impressed. She was extremely knowledgeable, very straightforward, and had excellent bedside manner. I will recommend her 1000 times over. She is an excellent doctor and so far I have had a great experience with her. She also assured me (after I asked) that I would be able to only see her every time - rather than see whoever is available or something like that. Very happy. I have been a patient at Sadick Dermatology for several years and had yearly Fraxel. I have seen a few doctors, all were great, especially Dr Ferzli who was so kind and generous and always offered to fraxel my neck free of charge. The office was never the most efficient but this year they made me wait TWO HOURS to get the treatment and then three hours to be seen for a follow up. Neither the receptionist nor the doctor were apologetic, acted like I'm expecting too much. In fact, when I asked the receptionist, Amanda Padilla, how much longer I had to wait, she did not hide her displeasure. She was curt and looked away from me - made me feel as if I was a leper begging her for money that she couldn't get away from me any faster. I was appalled. I was insulted. At that point I was hungry and tired. Never in my life did I feel SO DISRESPECTED at a doctor's office!  NOBODY deserves this sort of "treatment". Amanda, if the office makes patients wait for hours then it is your JOB to be empathetic and apologetic. Call ahead to give a heads up on the wait time; apologize for the wait even if you don't mean it and don't care the slightest bit (and you clearly don't). I did a skin test with Dr. Arruda , her assistant Kathleen, Namarata . They are very professional and kind. According to the test, I have oil and aged skin. However, I believe and can see the improvement my skin gets tighter and brighter after laser treatment. Dr. Arruda's research team, Kathleen and Alyssa helped me to understand the process of this treatment and right solution for my skin. Overall, I satisfy the laser treatment and highly recommend Sadick Dermatology if you have acne, pore and uneven texture skin. I understand why they are the top of dermatology in NY! read more

I went here for my first fraxel treatment!! The office is clean, welcoming and they have refreshments and snacks available in the reception area. :) The front desk staff were so helpful and transparent about the visit and what they needed from me before and after. I saw Dr. Sadick and his nurse Jennifer who were amazing !!!! He was so intelligent and explained exactly what I needed to get rid of my pigmentation issues and now they are completely gone! I numbed before the procedure for about an hour and then 20 min for the whole treatment and I was done and out the door. This review is mostly for Dr. Ferzli. I came to her during a really stressful time in my life when I was dealing with a scalp issue. Not only did she gag behind my back when she saw the small mole on my head (I even ignored that she did that to be polite/ was in disbelief, but what on earth kind of doctor does that?), but she also tried to upsell me on an extremely expensive procedure. I went to another two derms for second opinions and they contradicted everything she said, helping me realize my intuition was correct. I'm truly appalled that she is so unprofessional. If your appointment is at 1pm be ready to stay there until 5pm Bc the office is somehow always backed up. Also if the doctor tells you she's going to do a treatment for you make sure you get it in writing because her office staff with come behind her back and charge you for something you never agreed to do. Dr. Bhanusali is everything you look for in a doctor: knowledgeable, caring, communicative, and easily accessible for followup questions. I visited the office on 15th St. which was clean. He talked me through my concern (eczema and acne, cosmetics) and various treatment options available and which ones would be best suited for me. Dr. Bhanusali was a skilled proceduralist who talked me through every step of the way. I went with a friend to her appointment and witnessed the same consistent, high quality patient care. I wish I read the reviews before. A friend recommended me to a Dr here. I went to get a skin check and because I was 10 minutes late they said they couldn't do a full check but when I said I was interested in botox 3 people came in the room, showed me all these plans and a sales person came in. So they had time for that but not to check if I have cancerous moles. My friend had recommended me there so I thought it was just a one time thing. I went back for a consultation which they were very excited. Again a sales women came in and roped me into over $3k worth of services. After filler, which leaked I walked out with a 2 bruises (because no one told me you can't have advil within 2 weeks of filler). I also had a cut (looked like rug burn) that scabbed on my face. 2 months later it's still scared. My face is now uneven due to the filler they gave me. Stay away. There are plenty of other reputable dr's in NY. read more

I have been going here for about a year to see Dr. Khan. I am mixed about this place. First she diagnosed me with rosacea and acne, a combination I hadn't heard I had before. She prescribed me a cleanser and 2 medicines. I feel that the rosacea diagnosis was very spot on because my skin cleared up in a way I hadn't seen before, however I still have a ways to go. Having said that I do not like that my skin is not thoroughly inspected by Dr. Khan. She does not have me take my make up off and does not even come close to my face to have a look. She sits far away. I don't really feel I am given the attention deserved for a visit. I have been going for a year but may return to my previous dermatologist Dr. Sapna Palep of Spring Street Dermatology, who was so attentive and amazing. The only reason I left her was because I chickened out of the Accutane I was preparing to take and wanted a second opinion. I am glad I did because it turns out I don't think I need Accutane anymore. I really feel that she was suggesting it because at that point I was not ready to try more topicals and seemed to be pretty straight forward on being at my wits end. I needed a cool off session. Dr. Sapna is a truly caring person who seems to really be there to help you. I love that about her. (Update) My skin is like doing amazing. Mostly because a friend suggested this all natural cleansing milk by Yves Rocher. Seriously my friend should be a dermatologist! I was probably using the wrong cleansers for my face the whole time!!!! (2nd Update) Got a bill for $80.62 - the amount my insurance didn't cover for going in to see Dr.Khan to speak about options for fraxel laser for my skin. Unheard of. I edit my original review. Prior to my appointment, I spoke to the front desk about my insurance coverage. They asked for my policy number and confirmed they accepted it. I then had a lengthy conversation with Dr. Zeena about my insurance, whereas she also assured me all the lab work would be covered by my carrier. I am now being billed for over $500. Dr. Zeena had assured me I would be covered under my insurance and scheduled in a ton of blood work and a biopsy. This turned out not to be the case as the lab work was sent to Quest Diagnostics, a lab my insurance does not cover. While I agreed to make a partial payment in September and be billed for the balance the following month, I never received another invoice. Instead I was sent to Collections.
