(This is a private room). I had a towel on top of me when she was doing the foot massage, was different for me because foot massages your clothes are on. I actually preferred it because she was able to massage my thighs well. The foot massage included a head massage and wow. Cindy did her thing. I'm a sucker for head massages and the face massage was great too. After she was done with the foot massage she moved to the table. All in all, the massage was amazing. I get massages regularly and usually go to Asian massage parlors. You never know if it's going to be a good therapist or bad one. If I lived closer, gosh, I would be here all the time lol. Kitty is amazing both as a practitioner and person!…read more I began to work with Kitty after I was involved in a second car accident - 2 in 2 years. I had severe whiplash and lower back pain. The pain extended to my legs as well. I had been working with a chiropractor for 8 months and I wasn't getting better. I was in chronic pain and was unable to engage in the activities I had enjoyed before the car accident. I felt pretty hopeless before working with Kitty. After my first session with Kitty, my neck pain went away for the first time in months! Kitty took the time to listen to me and really understand my unique injuries. She truly cares about her clients and I always feel better after seeing her. She is skilled, thorough, and will try different modalities to better serve her clients. She even let me borrow one of her textbooks so we could further identify the exact facial tissue associated with my injuries and better target our treatment plan. While I'm not fully healed yet - I'm seen progress and results in working with Kitty. I feel hopeful again and trust that it's not a question of if I'll heal, but rather when I'll heal. On the personal front- Kitty is a person of integrity and character. She does what she says she will and is incredibly caring. I'm a type 1 diabetic and had a low blood sugar after one of my sessions. Not only did she stay with me to make sure I was better, but she offered me sugar to feel better. I didn't specify a deep tissue massage and I'd imagine Tammy would not have classified it as such, but it was incredibly functional for me - it wasn't relaxing at all times, but a mixture. The pressure used during the massage was exactly what I was looking for and needed at the time. Craig used hot stones as well to help loosen the tissue and that was an added bonus. Craig is professional and welcoming. I did not receive an intake form prior to my massage and that would have been nice because I could have completed it in advance to give background information as that can be very important when working on someone for the first time. The massage space was comfortable although a bit difficult to find the correct entrance in the office building and I booked for a Sunday so all the doors were locked and I needed to call to figure out how to get in.
