We got a couples massage through a Groupon and had no issues booking it. The place is located in a little shopping strip. The ambiance was alright when walking in, they asked how hard you want the massage and what areas to target and then they bring you to a room to undress either with your partner or on your own. I did notice my sheets were a bit dirty but looked passed it. The massage was average. I didn't hate it but didn't love it- the couples massage includes hot rock treatment to ir which was nice. The reason why I'm scoring low is that at the moment of checkout they are so pushy for a tip. I told them how much I wanted to tip and they kept switching the number on me and not hearing me out u til my partner said yes to the number they wanted. Overall I would look somewhere that's a bit more hygienic and professional when listening to their customers read more

New, clean & professional establishment with very affordable services. Lulu was talented, thorough and excellent! At $70 per/hour and no high pressure tipping, this place is a welcomed addition. I hope people support this place and these amazing therapists! read more

My boyfriend and I went in for a couples massage over the weekend and neither of us had a positive experience. They were hitting bones and going too hard/fast in the wrong areas. His masseuse was putting way too much pressure on his skin he was literally bruised after his massage after. He had to ask to move away from the upper back bc of how much pain it brought. I had soreness and body aches the day after mine too. Not the best experience unfortunately. read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! My husband purchased and scheduled a couples massage via Groupon- he had several conversations prior to our appointment to upgrade our 50 minute massage to 80 minutes- for an additional fee. When we arrived, we were greeted, asked to fill out a form on an iPad, they asked for the groupon- never asked or confirmed anything with us- to be honest, they hardly interacted at all when we were checking in. We were taken to a room, asked to undress and get on the tables. We did and then waited- while waiting, several employees were talking quite loudly near our room. We waited for well over 5 minutes before anyone came back into the room. My masseuse confirmed with me 50 minutes and I corrected stating that we were supposed to have 80 minutes- they went and got the owner, who came in and demanded a credit card for the extra charge- we asked if we could take care of it at the end, and she demanded we give her a credit card right then, as we were laying naked under the sheet waiting for a massage. When we said no, and that we now didn't want the massage at all and asked them to leave, she then argued again. They all finally left after being asked at least 5 or 6 times to leave so we could dress. We will never go back- hopefully we can get a refund for the groupon- read more

I wouldn't even give this place a star if I didn't have to. Do not purchase though Groupon. Owner or staff honor the deal. They are rude and argumentative when you present Groupon. So hard up! But couples massage and they argue saying it's only for 1 person. DO NOT BUY ON GROUPON YOU'RE GOING TO END UP PAYING ONCE YOU GET THERE. SCAM!!!!!! read more

I had a 40 minute foot massage today and it was amazing. The place is very clean and the lady that did my massage was very kind. I will definitely be back again. They do ask for payment up front, but not the tip like other reviews stated. I tipped after my service. read more

Everything from beginning to end went seemlessly. The gal that answered the phone to set up an appointment was pleasant & if it was the same gal working up front she was pleasant in-person as well. This was my first couples massage ever, so didn't know what to expect in that aspect, but the one thing I noticed from previous solo massages is they didn't ask if there were any sore/painful spots or concerns. HOWEVER, although they didn't ask they seemed to know if there was one, which was pretty amazing. Everyone we encountered was kind & professional. The massages were great, but I will say I hate massages only because they end ! Thanks John & Mia! read more

Had a couples massage today that was amazing! Coco and Kelly are fantastic! They really know where to focus. We'll definitely be going back in the near future. I highly recommend them. read more

I truly don't know why people have this place as a 3.8. This place is 5 stars and one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had. Check google reviews and you'll see all the real reviews and praises. We went for a couples massage and had Lulu and Song. They were incredible and didn't short change us AT ALL on the 50 minutes. I feel amazing and all of my stiffness, tension, and sore muscles are starting to come around again. My neck and back were KILLING me and I feel so much better. I've also been having trouble sleeping, and I slept like a baby after coming here. 10/10 and will be back. read more

Today I went in for a 60 minute massage and walked out in such a great mood. Livia did an incredible job with my massage. I had hot stones and oil massage and it was great. The table was the most comfortable table I have ever used for a massage. It didn't feel like I was uncomfortable for my face. The place was super clean and very friendly. Will come back again soon. read more

Massage Tao - 60 minute massage - Massage Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

This is such a great business. Been here several times and somehow it keeps getting better and better. I have had negative/inappropriate experiences with massages in the past and Massage Tao has respectful and experienced massage therapists. 100% recommend this place. read more

The lady at the front desk was very very UNPROFESSIONAL. I had booked a $160 appointment (I had $75 gift card that I used and remaining $85 I paid using my credit card). After I checked in, she showed me the massage room and asked me to get ready for my massage. Within a minute she came back asking me to pay. I came to the counter and told her that I had already paid for it. She argued to me telling that I hadn't paid for it. I showed her my email that showed the transaction of $160 and that I owe nothing in the store. She was not convinced with that, so I showed her my gift card (that I got on August 2024, and valid until August 2025) and even my bank details that showed the remaining $85 transaction. And while I was explaining this to her she told me " I am the employer, let me speak". Seriously very rude and unprofessional. I understand that she was trying to figure out the payment, but that's not how you speak to your customers!!!! She even had the audacity to ask me pay and that she would refund me later. So unprofessional! She tried entering my gift card somewhere in her system and told me that the code was invalid. How would it be valid if I literally had used it to purchase this appointment? The guy at the front desk was helpful though and very kind and was helping to figure out the situation. And he finally let me in for the massage after about 20 minutes of the lady arguing, being rude and showing attitude for no reason. The massage itself was good but the experience was ruined because of the front desk lady. Do not have gift card options if you d o not know how to use it. Very very unprofessional front desk lady!! I would give negative start if I could. NEVER EVER RETURNING BACK!!! read more

Came here for a couples massage. I was not sure what to expect based on other reviews. This was the BEST massage I've ever had. I have a lot of issues with my upper back and my boyfriend has issues with his leg muscles. While in the same room, without telling the masure's what was needed, they could tell. Not only did I not hurt after the deep tissue massage, but I haven't felt this good in months. My boyfriend was skeptical at first but he has asked that we do this every few months. John and coco, you're the best!! read more

Very shady operation! They wanted me to pay and tip before the massage. I've never had that. I could maybe see to pay first but to tip for a massage you have not received is bad customer service! read more

I have had my fair share of massages. I know a quality massage parlor and a quality massage, and this place is NOT that. Never letting my husbans choose the massage place again. The negative reviews on this place are right. I'm going to cross post this onto Google as well. These "masseuses" are not formally trained. Mine did not seem to have any understanding of anatomy. It was like being massaged by someone who hated me. I feel like I fell down a rocky embankment into a tub of oil. She used the full weight and pressure of her wrist or elbow on my SPINE. She yanked at ny joints like she was deboning a Costco rotisserie chicken. I spent the whole time waiting for it to end. I feel 100x worse than I did before. I definitely have soft tissue damage and yes, it's completely different pain than from a proper deep tissue massage. I also want to say that if you're shy about nudity, that's not going to be respected here. My entire ass was out during most of this and I felt fingers in my buttcrack more than once. I also felt my vagina and boobs be uncovered at different points of this. It was so uncomfortable. I wish I'd felt confident enough to tell her to stop and to walk out of there because it was so awful. read more

Would not accept my Groupon. Told me that I needed to contact my bank because she didn't know how to process the coupon code. Very rude.

So me and my boyfriend came in for a reservation at 4pm. It was absolutely terrible they are so extremely aggressive. We both went in no pain and came out with aches throughout our backs and pain through our shoulders. It was the worst anniversary massage ever. Never again will I ever go here read more

Today, was our first couples massage there. I was so impressed on how Max worked on all my pressure points, he nailed it. I felt so relaxed when I left the place. My husband was with Tina. He says that was one of the best massages yet. He especially liked the hot stones. Very clean and inviting place. Will definitely go back. read more

Stopped in for a couples massage today. It was fantastic! They were all so kind. Will go again when we are back in Denver.

The staff was super friendly! We enjoyed our couples massages by Max and Tina. Thank you!

Got massage while in town visiting. Massage was mediocre at best, the older lady worked on me. I've had multiple massages this left a lot to be desired. I've had better massages from my children. I wonder if the lady was even licensed. It was a lot of inexperienced rubbing, no skills used at all. Then the lady asked to leave a tip. No Thank you do better!! read more

Not such a great experience. I texted asking if there was an appointment "today" and received a response saying yes (time was within the hour, so I busted butt to get myself ready and there on time). I had received an auto message with the time & date confirmed, which I glanced at the time but didn't pay attention to the date. Nonetheless, I showed up for my 10am appointment. Was put into a room, told to undress and lay on the bed (which is all very normal). 20 minutes pass by... yes TWENTY MINUTES and someone finally comes in. Turns out it was the person I was texting and she was sure to tell me I was there the wrong day (by showing me her phone in my face) but she'd still take care of me. So feeling pretty uncomfortable at this point, the massage felt very rushed and she answered several calls during my massage. And the worst part... another worker came INTO the room during my massage to which I then realized the door was propped open. I will definitely NOT return, nor do I suggest this place but maybe to an enemy. (Kidding kidding) It's aesthetically nice but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. read more
