The piercer is sooo nice , the piercing room itself is so comfy with lots of fidgets. A great group of people and very talented very gentle.

I see I haven't updated my review in 13 years! Sorry! Anyway, this place is just flat-out amazing!…read moreI went in thinking I needed my nose re-pierced and was thrilled to learn that the hole was still open. A lot of other piercers wouldn't have taken the time to check but Body Ritual did. In the end, it ended up being a simple insertion. It was once again, a fantastic experience there. Friendly, quick, clean and so affordable. I don't think I'll go anywhere else for piercing related needs. I haven't had a tattoo here so I can't speak to that, but I imagine that's also awesome.

Good: I have gotten three piercings here. All of them different. The first two of them have been…read moreamazing. Got my septum here and it was perfect, the lady that did it was super sweet and kind, loved her, she explained as she went what she was doing and the things I should be feeling. I got a lobe piercing here and also perfect, this time it was a guy that was piercing me, and he was cool, but not as kind, but the third one, my industrial piercing, that one was another story. Bad: Lets start off with reception. The guy in the front desk is always serious and seems to be over with it. But whatever, maybe he is and hope he is happy maybe out of work. The industrial piercing I got was maybe the worst experience. I waited like for 2 hours for it. Got the piercer (guy from 2nd piercing) to check my ear to see if I had the right anatomy and he said I did, so I went with it. I maybe moved, and because of the adrenaline of the pierce I fainted when I got it done, he took the situation all well, and gave me instructions of after-care and all. I understood that the healing of an industrial takes 6-12 months. But it has been around 7 months since, and I believed the ear has healed like 55% of the way. I know this is not a professional opinion place, but I asked Reddit if my ear and piercing was okay. And ALL the comments said I definitely did not have the anatomy and that I should get the piece put ASAP, as my ear's flat had been pierced, and not the part that should've be pierced for an industrial. I am finding a place that is not Body Rituals to get the industrial removed. I would still recommend the place to others, but for industrials, no. The space of piercing is clean, piercers are generally nice, and the place in general has a nice aesthetic and music. I would not have minded though. I know that my piercer had years of experience, and maybe it was me that ended up moving, but I would not get offended of getting told that I do not have the anatomy and find alternatives to a piercing that does look like an industrial.

Don't at all come here for a piercing what so ever. I got a lower helix and the piercer dropped the…read moreclamp and it was a painful experience considering I've gotten many piercings (much more intense than a helix). She also didn't tell me what jewelry she was going to install, now there is a gem into my ear. I really, really dislike the gem but I can't change it and now I'm stuck with it-I'm upset about this . I also really dislike the placement where I got the piercing, I could have advised against it but she convinced me otherwise and I kind of hate the placement and immediately regret it. They install titanium jewelry which is great but don't come here for a piercing if you value choosing what jewelry you have and professionalism. Maybe other piercers are more equip for this service but I don't recommend going here, please do research and choose somewhere else. She didn't even introduce her name to me but my piercer was female identifying with gauges. Please DO NOT get a piercing by anyone complimentary to this description PLEASE! Two days later update- I had to get this removed because it was so crooked and I was concerned about getting an infection!! Save yourself and be safe!! Also the piercing she did is absolutely horrible, it's uneven and crooked. PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!!!!

When I called, they mentioned a $100 minimum, but I didn't confirm whether that applied to each of us individually. We were all getting the same tiny ladybug tattoo in honor of my grandma who passed away. From previous experiences at other places, I've sometimes seen the price adjusted for small, matching tattoos done in a group. That was my mistake for not clarifying, so we ended up spending $300 total. While the tattoos were done quickly and turned out well, I honestly don't think the small, simple design was worth $100 per person. The shop was clean, and the service was good, but I wouldn't recommend going here for something as small as we got.
