He was super friendly, encouraging, and setup a chair so I could sit next to her and watch too! He answered all our questions and gave great aftercare advice. He said she could always reach out if she had any questions after the tattoo was done and had great customer service! Awesome shade work and design as well. The shop is appointment only except for Saturdays when they accept walkins. We were lucky enough to find Yasmeena's Instagram (@theyasmeendee) so we could book through the link in bio for a same day appointment. She has beautiful botanical work and does a lot of fun pieces too but we had specific designs in mind we needed replicated and she did them perfectly. I got a small fine line geometrical tattoo and the lines are beautifully done. The next time we're in Milwaukee we'll plan ahead so we can do custom designs from Yasmeena.

Here's where the love affair with this place starts. My teenage angst many moons ago landed me with an awful and embarrassing tattoo that I've hated since the week I for whatever reason decided it was a good idea to get it. I stopped by to get a white tattoo and the artists advised me against it. Very knowledgeable about the long term result which swayed my decision to get it. I decided to ask if they did cover ups and showed them my "masterpiece." Armando is amazing. He took on the project and had me very involved in designing the new piece. The first picture he drew me I hated. I was nervous to tell him but he remained pleasant and kept the process going. I sent him a couple pictures showing the style I was going for and the same day he drew me the perfect tattoo. The day of my appointment I had to move the appointment to an hour later and he accommodated me with no problem. During the tattoo process he was polite, professional, an kept me feeling as comfortable as someone can be while needles are jabbing into you. I am absolute in love with the end result. You can't even tell its a coverup! The lines are clean, the shading is amazing, and the placement is as close to perfect as you can get while covering another poorly placed tattoo. I.am.in.love. Words can't express how happy I am to see the old tattoo go and finally have a beautiful piece of art I can show off!

My boyfriend has never gotten a tattoo before but has been planning on getting one for sometime now. He made his own design and really wanted to get it done! So he started looking around Milwaukee area and it was by faith's design that he came across Riverwest Tattoo Company. My boyfriend was speaking on the phone with one of the artist when he had mentioned the name Mason to us and my friend who was with us at the time immediately made the connection that our old high school was that person! We immediately said absolutely since we new how passionate Mason was in high school for their artistry. Appointment was booked and we were on our way! The shop was so amazing! Tattoo Art everywhere! and so many plants too! I loved it! The waiver process was easy and Mason got my boyfriend ready to go in the chair within 10 mins. I was very impressed by the speed in which everyone worked! I got to sit and watch him get his tat and he told me it was painless and he was all finished in under 20 mins! What a deal! I have smaller tattoos and they took much longer than that! That goes to show the talent that Mason has with their hands and their creativity! Boyfriend was so very excited to finally have his own tat and have something that means a great deal to him everywhere he goes now! Highly recommend Riverwest and Mason! I will certainly be coming back to get my own done, and will recommend to all my friends and family!
