The Daigle family came out here and worked a miracle. I gasped when I saw them. And I found this company to be super affordable. I also really appreciated how personable and friendly they both were (father and son team). I know some people don't care about whether a contractor is friendly or not-- just as long as they are skilled-- but for me, if I'm going to have someone in my home for hours at a time, I want it to be a pleasant experience. One warning-- they wanted to start work at 6am. Which I permitted, since I get up early, but my husband almost had a fit. I've had many workmen start at 7:00, but 6:00?! Anyway, I'm sure I could have talked them in to starting at a more reasonable hour if I had asked, but be prepared.

At Dalene, we worked with Anna who was amazing, making the process easy from start to finish. We were concerned because we needed the project done before January, however, they squeezed us in. Great for getting ideas for whatever your "Kitchen & Flooring Dreams" are, so to speak. Everyone is really knowledgeable and professional, not pushy or anything like that. I met Humera and Jimmy, and they both definitely know what they're doing. Jimmy came to the house and took measurements so the custom cabinets could be cut right. Much like ordering windows, it takes a week or two to get them made, but this is reasonable given the logistical challenges. Great alternative to the industry giants like HD and Lowe's. Because the prices are competitve, and these people actually CARE! :)

"Gimme three steps, gimme three steps, mister Gimme three…read moresteps towards the door?" (Lynyrd Skynyrd) After we had our hardwood floors and steps sanded and refinished, we decided to pretty up those steps with a carpet runner, which explains why we visited Galaxy Discount Carpet Store today. That decision ended up being a FIVE STAR experience. Their two floor showroom is just incredible! Sample boards, rolls stacked on the floor in rows, area rugs hanging from the ceiling, gorgeous stuff everywhere. We met with Charlie and explained to him what we were looking for. He said that staircase runners can either be pre-manufactured in big rolls, or custom cut from carpeting meant for rooms. We knew we wanted a runner in some shade of gray to complement our wall color, and decided on a carpet runner to be cut from a big grayish roll and then finished with black binding along the edges, to complement the black stair rail and contrast with the white stair risers. It was installed 72 hours later, and that was pretty amazing in it's own right. Communication with Galaxy was great. Charlie was a dream to work with, the installers called us the day before install to confirm the date and time window, and the van with two workers arrived as scheduled mid-afternoon and did a neat professional job on the install. Charlie's price was $140 less than one we had from a flooring company out in our neck of the woods, and the carpet quality was better at Galaxy. Everything went well, and the stairs look great!

Just moved into our 20 year old house with a dark, outdated kitchen. After dealing with an…read moreindependent contractor for a few weeks and being disregarded, we decided to find a remodel specialist that had an actual storefront. We did a little research and found DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen. A great decision. If you're looking for quality, versatility, reliability and professionalism, they are a perfect choice. We looked at multiple designs on a computer and were immediately able to pick materials and options from their showroom displays. They were no pressure but up front and honest about cost, time frame and what they would and wouldn't do. (They won't do cheap.) I have always been very wary of contractors and their "promises". Dream Maker kept to their word in every phase of the project. Every person who worked on our kitchen is employed directly by Dream Maker and they were courteous, professional and timely at all times. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and highly recommend Dream Maker. They put in new cabinets, new flooring, new countertop, new sink and worked around and re-installed our appliances. Everything was done to our delight. We have been using the finished kitchen for over two months. A couple of small issues that emerged have been resolved at our convenience. Finally, I would repeat what I was always told growing up: You get what you pay for. Dream Maker is probably not the cheapest, but they are worth the cost.
