We never went to a care conference alone. And even if a social worker was new and we were learning together, I always had a team to go to to make sure I was on track with what I was advocating for for my mother when her facility was not doing it's job and trying to push us out. When it came time to apply for Medicaid for our mom, Shannon and the Rothkoff team helped us through it big time! That was a huge, stressful undertaking and I don't think we would have gotten through it as swiftly as we did without them. The other amazing aspect of the law firm is the community for caregivers they try to create. I was out of state and could unfortunately not attend events, but it was helpful to know that they are really in deep with caregiving and trying to find ways to support caregivers in all endeavors.
