The first was that my sister used Shari of the firm for some estate legal services. The second was I checked on the internet what was a typical fee for attorney service for a home sale in NJ and found it to be $1500 to $2000. When I asked Seth what his fee would be he stated on the phone call "about $1500" as the" buyer attorney has more heavy lifting" As it turned out the sale was elongated due to the buyer having some difficulty securing financing. However, the fee ended up being over $5000. That is more than triple the original estimate. When asked to reduce the fee or even acknowledge the original estimate Seth refused. The fee agreement was based on hourly rates not a fixed fee. The services provided were professional and high quality but I felt I was taken advantage of in the high price required to be paid.

God knows the truth... Do not go to this location. This place is all about $$$. They take your case and do the bare minimum (Kerlin Hyppolite) , but charge you for every little thing. If you call to dispute the charges, they block your calls and remove themselves out of your case leaving you broke and with an-unresolve case. They are more concerned about their reputation by replying to all reviews but cannot hold a conversation on the phone regarding fraudulent fees.

Chris Bratton initially told me that one of the properties in my mothers estate was not bequeathed…read moreto me. Then 6 months later he reversed his statement and said I was receiving the property. This was all during the legal process of working out the breakdown of my mother's estate, which was being contested between myself and my sister. Then after my lawyer requested proof of this, he again reversed his position and said I did not have to accept ownership of the contested property. I paid him 5000 of his requested 10000 fee for handling the estate. In my opinion his negligence and seemingly suspect handling of my mother's estate is unforgivable. Only complete legal incompetence as a lawyer or deliberate illegality could explain his actions. I would not recommend him to anyone, ever.
