My Name is Joanne S.-M- - - - n and I am writing a positive review on the Rothkoff Law Group. I am a yoing 67 yr old female, a retired RN & I have medical issues which include Parkinson's Disease & its progression; my concerns about remaining independent & realizing from my personal experience the many what-ifs that were becoming a real possibility that my future might hold and where can I find answers & assistance to help me plan for my future and what were my options. I saw my mother in her elder years go through her entire life savings paying medical costs & nursing home fees out of pocket in less than 12 months before going on Medicaid. I had some real big concerns about my hard earned savings and I did not know how I could avoid having financially, what happened to my mother, happen to me. That is why I called the Rothkoff Group in 2014. At first I was concerned & skeptical about them. I did not know this Legal Elder Care system or what to expect, I had a lot of questions and I needed answers & help immediately in my opinion. Initially I met with Bryan J. Adler. His very calm professional manner, and his confidence as he answered my questions one by one and offered advice & education to me which turned out to be 100% accurate & helpful. Bryan did what was needed to initiate a process that allowed me to stop worrying and begin relying on his experience & capable focusing on a realistic plan to put my affairs in order and finally relax. I had the very positive experience of attending a few of Gerry Rothkoff's FREE Educational Seminars. What an enjoyable opportunity this was. There was a relaxed atmosphere which was conducive to learning & asking questions, There were refreshments, humor & great educational information & take home printed materials Gerry is a gifted educator and a wealth of knowledge. He did an excellence job of teaching the classes I attended. I enjoyed his seminars very much. The Rothkoff Staff is wonderful. No matter who answered the phone when I called I was satisfied with the encounter. I have spoken with Rachael, Jacinda, Kathleen McGhee, and several others who I just don't remember names.I have worked with Janie Deleon-Male, a very capable experienced Social Worker. For awhile she was on my speed dial and very helpful. She has made house calls to my home to assist with setting up home services which were helpful. Janie is personable & very detailed oriented and she follows up with me on everything. She is just a phone call away and has helped me on many occasional. Knowing the Rothkoff Group is available to me for assistance when I need help, allows me to relax and rely on them . I would most definitely recommend them to anyone in need of Eldercare .Medicare. Medicaid Social Security, Medical Benefits, Veteran Benefits Help. I feel very comfortable working with Rothkoff. They always have the answers and when they don't, they know where to get the answers I need. read more

I wanted to take a moment to express my since gratitude for the Rothkoff Group and their assistance with helping me move my Dad into a nursing home and move him to Medicaid. It was an overwhelming situation and the staff made a very complex and emotional process seamless and efficient, with offering non wavering compassion. Jerald was the first person we talked to who walked us through the process and my millions of questions, never once complaining. Then once we signed on, his staff. What can I say - SIMPLY AMAZING. Sharon has been my rock. When breaking down crying feeling so guilty about having to make this move, she was always there for me whenever I needed her. She also answers all of my questions timely and is always there for me. Simple questions, like what should we pack to move him - boom here is a list of what you need. Plus she is always at our care conferences taking notes and asking amazing questions so I can focus on the conference and not worry about remembering everything. Sharon is AMAZING! Jennifer you had been my financial and paperwork guru. From forwarding her emails going... what is this and her responding I got it! She is also super timely with responses and so professional. I could never have handled this on my own and this team doesn't treat you as a client, they treat you as family. I recommend them to everyone I know who is going through something similar. Rothkoff you are a God send and I am so thankful to be working with you all. read more

It is a great pleasure to work with the Rothkoff Law Group on behalf of my Mother and Father. After moving them from out of state to here in South Jersey, the Assisted Living facility that they were moved into highly recommended them to me. After the first personal consultation with Jerold Rothkoff himself, I knew that this was the firm to take care of all the financial and legal ramifications of my parents. Jerold is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and treats me very respectfully. At the passing of my Father over 2 years ago, he and his team were instrumental in guiding me through the very complex settling of the estate so that my Mother could continue to live at the assisted living facility. I was led through the process of securing VA benefits, as well as further asset protection. Whenever my Father or Mother needed hospitalization, they were advocating for them every step of the way. His whole team is very conscientious and courteous and really wants to see that my Mother receives the absolute best care that she can get. His Geriatric Care Coordinator is second to none, and will return phone calls and e-mails usually within 24 hours; mostly sooner. Working with the Rothkoff Law Group has given me peace of mind and been one of the best decisions that I have made regarding the care of my parents. I highly recommend Jerold Rothkoff and his team for Elder Care law, for it is comforting to know that they have my Mother's best interests in mind. read more

As a professional, I have been acquainted with the Rothkoff Law Group since 2009, at which time I began employment as a hospice social worker in Southern New Jersey, and then later as a hospital and homecare social worker in the field of elder care as well. I have referred several patients and families to Jerry, Jacinda, and Janie for assistance in estate planning, long term care planning, and caregiver support. Each referral was handled professionally, compassionately, and the patients and families felt like they were treated with dignity and honesty. It's a complicated business, make no bones about it! Jerry knows his stuff with great intelligence - his curiosity and enthusiasm only makes him one of the best in the field of Elder Law. Just attend one of his seminars or CEU's and you walk away energized by the updated information. Within the past year, my husband's parents signed on with Rothkoff Law Group to assist them in moving from Delaware, into a Continuing Care Retirement Community, to include all the complicated estate planning and family meetings that followed. I know I can speak for our family by saying, now we consider Jerry and the gang at Rothkoff Law Group as an extended part of the family, and we are proud to have Rothkoff as a respectable part of Cherry Hill's business community as well. read more

I must say, five stars are not enough! I received the name of this law firm f a caseworker for my husband, Joseph Cotellese, who is currently residing at a nursing home after suffering a stroke. I quickly realized that I needed professional help to navigate through the entire Medicare /Medicaid situation. From the very first meeting with Bryan Adler, and his team. I knew I was in the right place for my needs. Bryan took the complex issue of Medicare and Medicaid and simplified it in a way that was easy for me to understand. Since my first appointment in May, I felt that all of the team members that are working with me have my best interest at heart and they have walked me through every step of this complicated process with patience and understanding. I personally worked with Nicole, Tina and I am currently working with Jennifer Luberski , who is the Medicaid specialist. I will say Jennifer has talked me off the ledge more than one time. If I have any kind of concerns about any of the process that I am working on, She is right there to assure me that what I've done is correct. I truly cannot say enough about this entire law firm and I truly believe that anyone that needs an elder care law firm should go no further than Rothkoff law firm. read more

My brother and I are very pleased with this law firm. I've had to get both my parents into assisted living and the process is grueling. Where do you begin? Jerry and his staff are very professional and thorough. They have a flat fee for the year that includes everything! Janie came to our house to assess both my parents with their individual needs which were vastly different. She is a sweetheart and constantly checks up and follows through on my parents. Jerry will go over all your options with you to find the best possible solution. Our goal was to keep them together for as long as possible. One parent has dementia and we didn't want them in separate rooms or nursing homes. Rothkoff helped find a place that was suitable for them and us. My dad would tell everyone in the facility to go see Jerry! He will help you and he's going to make it easy. Seeing your parents health decline isn't easy and we were unprepared. Rothkoff takes the burden off your shoulders so you can concentrate on spending all your time with your loved ones. Update: on be lowered my score. Apparently some of the staff will help you more than others as far as assisting with Medicaid paperwork. (Assets weren't fully depleted due to their mistake) read more

I can't say enough about this firm as a whole. The level of care, communication, professionalism and attention has made navigating this very difficult chapter in my life a bit easier. As a widowed, childless only child of two elderly parents, I am struggling to manage their circumstances to the best of my ability. I can not say enough about Bryan and his wonderful staff at the Rothkoff Law Group. When my dad had fallen, in January of 2025, and was in need of rehabilitation care, we fortunately found Rothkoff and their services. I can honestly say, I could not have accomplished what I did for my dad without their assistance. Upon meeting Bryan, I could immediately feel the compassion he had to help me and my family. From Sharon, our Care Coordinator, to Jennifer, our Medicaid Specialist, the knowledge and the willingness to help was astounding. There was never an inconvenient time to call with questions or concerns. The entire group made my crucial situation easier to handle with their expertise in elderly care. Even now, after my father has passed, there is still the attention for my mother's wellbeing. read more

I came to Rothkoff Law Group for assistance of my Aunt who was living in very unsafe conditions in her home in South Jersey. She didn't have much money and is young for the level of care she needs so I wasn't sure what I could do for her. Jerry Rothkoff and his team were very professional and supportive. They assigned a Social Worker to help us and explain each step we needed to take. She was also able to assist us with placing my Aunt in a nice community close to home so she could finally get the care and assistance she desperately needed! In addition to that (which was a huge weight off our shoulders already), Rothkoff Law Group had a Public Benefits team also supported us in all of her Medicaid Planning! Thank you Jerry Rothkoff and Team!!! We could not have done this with out You! read more

Best phone call I ever made. While speaking with Mr. Rothkoff for the first time, he asked "why are looking for legal help with managing your mother's estate?" As Power of Attorney for my mother, I was terrified I would make a mistake that would be to her financial detriment. I lived in one state, she was currently in another and was re-locating to a third. I had heard horror stories from people who just didn't know how to navigate elder care law. When I told him such, he replied: "We'd love to help you. When can you come in?" I felt like I'd just been welcomed to the family! The services provided by Rothkoff Law Group have proven invaluable. Every interaction with anyone from Rothkoff Law Group is pleasant and efficient. I'm really so grateful that I picked up the phone that day. read more

Wow I don't know where to start. I was overwhelmed by the need to take over all the financial and medical decisions for my mother who had advanced dementia. I found it difficult to make these decisions for someone other than myself and handling money has never been my strong ability. I found Rothkoff Law Group in a google search and hired the team. It was the best decision I made for both of us! They helped me with all of the needs i ran into over about 5years until sge passed away. This included complicated will and trust, ongoing legal advice, recommendations, and oversite of care facilities, oversite of her medications, help with moving her three times and much more. Both my sister and i recieved was knowledgeable expert and compassionate. I highly recommend this firm. read more

Rothkoff Law Group has represented my wife who has dementia and I since the fall of 2023. Engaging the firm is the wisest thing that I could do. They are much more than a law firm. Not only do they have a breadth of senior advocacy services in-house, but they also have connections with services that I never knew existed Without Rothkoff Law, I would never have been able to negotiate this difficult journey and do the best for my wife. Take the time to read the bios on the website. These folks have personal history with senior care and dementia. Their caring shows in everything that they do because they have been in our shoes. The team at Rothkoff Law walks what others can only talk! My siincere and heartfelt thanks goes out to each and every member of the team. read more

Jerry just helped my mother complete the very difficult process of applying for and getting Medicaid. My mother was living at home until recently but had a medical incident and went to hospital. After recovering, she wasn't able to return home but needed long-term care. But without Medicaid, which was in process (but bureaucracies have their own timetable), she had few options. Fortunately, Jerry has set up a bridge process with a couple of local care facilities that enabled Mom to get excellent care while waiting for her application to be accepted. That process was finalized a couple of weeks ago but she was already settled and does not have to go through an additional transition. The Rothkoff law firm has been a blessing to my mother and our family. read more

We are a large family (8 siblings). In the past year, we have had to place both of our elderly parents in facilities. Fortunately, from the beginning of this journey, we have been working with all of the wonderful people at the Rothkoff Law Group. They have held our hand through the entire process. We all agree that this was one of the most intelligent moves we have made as a family. All of the people we have worked with: the social worker (Janie), the Medicade Specialist (Jennifer), the paralegal who reviews all of the documents (Jacinda), the secretaries and Jerry himself take a real personal interest in us and in our parents. We say this has been the best money we have ever invested! read more

Rothkoff Law Group has assisted our family with difficult issues in excess of six years. As a practicing attorney I was familiar with the firm, and when posed with the elder care issues of my parents I had no hesitation in seeking them out. The attorneys and staff are knowledgeable, kind and caring. The holistic approach to elder care certainly eased our way. They were available to answer all our concerns, respond as needed to my parents' health care and other issues, and supported us with difficult decisions. I wholeheartedly recommend them as the best in this area of practice, and I am happy to refer them to those who need their services. read more

My wife and I recently completed an update of our estate planning. The Rothkoff group and Brian Adler were recommended by our financial advisor. The process was problem free and smooth from beginning to end. This is the fourth time, over the years, that we have undertaken this task and the Rothkoff group is by far the leading firm for Elder Care in South Jersey. I am glad we followed this recommendation and wish to thank Brian and his staff for their professional input and attention to our needs. Ed and Toni F. read more
