Hot-dog stands are amazingly rare in Montreal. This humble hot-dog stand (that's apparently called the Hot-Dog Mobile) has been around for the last 2 years, although the business itself is much older.
The menu is simple: jumbo hot-dog (all beef, 3.25$) or polish hot-dog (a little more expensive and takes 5 min to cook). The rounded buns are nicely toasted without being dry, and the service is courteous and fast. The condiment station is clean and well stocked, with many types of sauce (but no mayo), along with sauerkraut, freshly chopped onions, olives, etc.
Really nice to have as a quick food option, especially in that part of downtown!
