We usually had one on the way home, and it was delicious. At one point, they started making 2 different kinds of croissants. One was the doughey version that we were used to, and the other was a flaky version that they introduced. I liked the first version better than the second one, but I don't think they sell them anymore. Anyway, they've expanded quite a bit, and there are all sorts of food kiosks available now. I see that I already gave this place 5 stars from a review that I posted in 2012. It would be nice if I could get those reviews and my new review matched up, so that I would have even more reviews. The picture on that profile is from Nakiska ski area, which is where I used to go skiing in the last year that I spent in Alberta. It's too bad things didn't work out there, because the skiing is amazing, but I'm comfortable now in Toronto. Eventually, I might move back to a smaller place, but I doubt I'd ever move back to Alberta. It's a shame. I miss my friend Leslie, the skiing and the mountain biking. I hope she's doing well and that the people around her are nice.

Location: On Curé-Labelle in Blainville. It's not too far from the 15 and parking is available…read more The place: Small, minimalist and clean decor. The goods are on display, as they should be! The goods: I'd been meaning to try this bakery for a while so since I had an appointment just up the street from them, I decided to stop in yesterday (a Thursday) around Noon. I got loaf (pain de ménage), a quiche (courgette), a chocolate eclair and a slice of their 'exotic' cheesecake. First, the quiche was delicious and the perfect size for lunch. If you are having a salad or veggies (any kind of side dish, really), then I would say half the quiche would be perfect. Anyway, the quiche was incredibly tasty and not greasy or heavy. I would definitely pick a few of these up again. I then tried the cheesecake, which had a nice texture (consistent but not as heavy as 'commercial' cheesecakes) and a thick layer of mango/pineapple on top. I didn't find this dessert to be overly sweet (bonus) and overall, quite enjoyed it. I'm generally not a big fan of mango (I find them too sweet) so look forward to trying another variety in the future! I haven't had the eclair yet so can't comment. I tried the bread this morning and it was a solid piece of toast! Great consistency, not heavy and not too sweet or salty. I say this because I've had bread from some bakeries that I found sweet (not my thing). All in all, I enjoyed everything I've tried so far. Service: Friendly Price point: For the four items, I paid $29 (including tip).
