May 2015, we were driving through town when someone waved us down to let us know we had a flat tire. We vaguely recalled a tire shop in the downtown area, & pulled into the OK Tire lot less than an hour before closing, figuring this would take a while and cost a bundle. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised! They offered to break up a set of used tires they had in stock - a good match for the car & almost the same amount of wear as our 3 intact tires. Our entire visit to OK Tire took all of 20 minutes, since they rolled our car into the bay and replaced the tire immediately. Cost? FORTY DOLLARS, all fees included. Yes, they could have charged us an arm and a leg in this sleepy little resort town, but they instead gave us a deal, and broke up a matched set of tires to do it. My only complaint is that they are too far from Calgary to do all of our automotive upkeep :) So please, if you live anywhere near them, give them your business!

They were supposed to fix the driver's side rear sliding door to my Kia Sedona minivan that was, according to them, coming off the tracks, sagging and rubbing against the window. I was topd it would take about a week to get the part in and was called 2 days later from the receptionist saying the part arrived. I was also originally told by the mechanic/owner that it would be at least a week before i could get it in as he was going to be out of town for a week. After wandering around the street with my twin toddlers for 2 hours it was finished and waiting in the lot for me. When I went in to pay for their service not a single mechanic came out to review their work or ensure my satisfaction. I should've then became suspicious when as they processed my payment the receptionist said, "they did the best they could and if you have any problems **** (the owner) will be able to help you when he's back." So i called them once I was calm. When I told the receptionist that my interior lights as well as the open door icon on my dash were on she replied, "Well the van is in rough shape, you're going to have to slam it hard when shutting it." First off, I shouldnt have to "slam it" if it has been fixed properly. I never had to before. Second of all, my van's engine may sound a little rough but that shoulnt have a darn thing to do with my door. My van does not have a single dent or speck of rust throughout it's entire body. Two weeks ago the door had no issues with it. The other sliding door on the opposite side of the van is in perfect working xondition as is every other door and window. I paid them to fix the door. If it was not possible or beyond their ability then they shouldn't have accepted the job. Needless to say, this business ripped off this single unemployed mother of four. Not only am i out the $254 but my vehicle is still not safe for my children to ride in. I'm thoroughly disgusted with their workmanship & professionalism. The only thing worse than stealing from a single unemployed mom of 4 (two of which are in diapers) is stealing from the elderly. It wouldn't surprise me if they did seeing as this is a retirement community.
