Excellent service but, a customer waiting lounge with heated massage chairs, a bar, high def tv would be nice.

After over $250 (quoted $200 + tax) and 2 hours (quoted 1 hour) My vehicle was returned to me in…read morethe same condition as it was when I originally brought it to them. They were supposed to fix the driver's side rear sliding door to my Kia Sedona minivan that was, according to them, coming off the tracks, sagging and rubbing against the window. I was topd it would take about a week to get the part in and was called 2 days later from the receptionist saying the part arrived. I was also originally told by the mechanic/owner that it would be at least a week before i could get it in as he was going to be out of town for a week. After wandering around the street with my twin toddlers for 2 hours it was finished and waiting in the lot for me. When I went in to pay for their service not a single mechanic came out to review their work or ensure my satisfaction. I should've then became suspicious when as they processed my payment the receptionist said, "they did the best they could and if you have any problems **** (the owner) will be able to help you when he's back." So i called them once I was calm. When I told the receptionist that my interior lights as well as the open door icon on my dash were on she replied, "Well the van is in rough shape, you're going to have to slam it hard when shutting it." First off, I shouldnt have to "slam it" if it has been fixed properly. I never had to before. Second of all, my van's engine may sound a little rough but that shoulnt have a darn thing to do with my door. My van does not have a single dent or speck of rust throughout it's entire body. Two weeks ago the door had no issues with it. The other sliding door on the opposite side of the van is in perfect working xondition as is every other door and window. I paid them to fix the door. If it was not possible or beyond their ability then they shouldn't have accepted the job. Needless to say, this business ripped off this single unemployed mother of four. Not only am i out the $254 but my vehicle is still not safe for my children to ride in. I'm thoroughly disgusted with their workmanship & professionalism. The only thing worse than stealing from a single unemployed mom of 4 (two of which are in diapers) is stealing from the elderly. It wouldn't surprise me if they did seeing as this is a retirement community.

In early December my truck started having trouble starting and eventually wouldn't start at all. Up…read moreuntil that point, we had never had an issue with it. I had it towed to HUFFYS only to be told they wouldn't get to it until the new year. Once they did, they diagnosed it as needing a new high pressure pump. They replaced the pump and told me it still wouldn't start and thought the new pump might be faulty and had to run more tests to cover their ass so they could get warranty on the faulty pump and get another one. A few days later they called me again and said the new pump actually wasnt the issue and works fine but now they had so much pressure in the lines that they blew the lines and needed to replace those as well as it needed new batteries. They charged us almost $5000 and we picked the truck up and drove home. Less than a week later the truck has the exact same issue and wouldn't start. I called them back and asked if they could have it towed back there and they said no that was my issue to deal with. He said well you drove it for almost a week didn't you? It was less than a week but for the amount of money we spent, the truck should have been fixed. Also the few days I drove it, the weather had warmed up a lot and it seems to be cold starting is the issue. My husband then phoned him and told them it's their responsibility to fix it as we paid them to fix that problem. When I got back on the phone the mechanic Rob told me we need to take 20 mins and calm down then call him back and then he hung up...Also during this time period keep in mind, we brought 2 more of our trucks to them for minor repairs. One they charged us almost $700 and the other one I had asked them to replace the sway bar bushings for which they did a bunch of other stuff and didn't do the sway bar bushings and charged us almost $2000 and gave the truck back in such poor condition that is now undrivable. The steering is fuc**d. I brought that truck back and he said maybe something happened to it when they had put it on the hoist? But again it's now my issue. So back to truck number 1...they looked at it again and called back and now said they think there's water in the diesel and they can fix it but it would be an additional $800 for them to drain the tank. I said if it's having the same issue now that it had when we first brought it there then why did they charge us $5000 for the high pressure pump?? He said well it needed that anyways. We spent almost $10 000 total and not only did they not fix our trucks but gave them back in worse condition then when we brought them there. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic and would never recommend this place to anyone!!! If zero stars was an option that is what they would get from us.

My car (a 1946 Jeep) broke down 10 miles out of Princeton. We were towed in by ABBA Towing (highly…read morerecommended!) to Huffy's, a bit outside the town of Princeton. The part was hard to find - 69 year-old parts are not an every day item! - but once the part arrived, Ken Huffy did extremely fine work, finding several smaller problems other mechanics and I had overlooked. His communications were excellent, and the work first-rate. The Jeep now runs better than before, and I would be very glad to recommend Huffy's to anyone!
