Dear potential customer,…read more I ordered a starter for my vehicle from this location. The customer service was sub-par. I was greeted when I walked in by a young guy who couldn't lift and smile and proceeded to order the part. This was on a Thursday. The employee assured me that the part would be there early that following week. He pressed that it should be showing up on Monday. It showed up Thursday of that week, and after persistent communication, there was not an attempt on their end to communicate with me whether my starter had showed up or not. They were supposed to take the starter down to Monument Motorsports in my Penticton. When I called Monument Motorsports, they assured me that it had not shown up. I immediately called Napa in Penticton and they proceeded to inform me that they had taken it down. Catching them on this miscommunication, I informed them that Monument Motorsports had not received the part. The employee insisted 2 times that it had been driven down. He went to speak with a fellow employee and came back to tell me that the part had not been driven down. Because of their failure to take the part that they had told me they would take down, I am currently without my vehicle, and because Monument Motorsports is closed on Fridays, I will have to wait until next week for them to put the starter in. I am a down-to-earth guy who is patient and will often will trust the process. Albeit, This poor level of professionalism is unacceptable, and going forward, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Communication - Poor Customer service - unsatisfactory

NO masks in the store NO plexi barriers to isolate the cash registers and no concern apparently for the possibility that an employee could be asymtomatic and infectious. Maybe hand sanitizer would be a nice touch as well. I've been a customer at this store for decades. A bit more than disappointing. Stay away.

RE: Mr Nick Bravi, Sales Manager…read more Last week I was dealing with Nick Bravi regarding a used Toyota Tacoma. (I must interject here for context; I am a automobile enthusiast and multi vehicle owner and have dealt with many dealers/seller over the decades) Nick; thank YOU for your amazing candidness, patience, assistance. You earned a "gold star" for customer service! Quite simply the attention, information and assistance we received was above and beyond what anyone could hope for! And zero pressure. Nick; again, thank you for your help. I'm sure yours will go quickly and perhaps we will connect again. You were a pleasure to deal with, a great representative for Toyota generally and Penticton Toyota specifically. I will return in future based on this outstanding experience. Regards. Guy

Typical turnaround time is between same day and 3 days for this service needed, this took over two weeks! There is a frame recall on certain models of Toyota Tacomas, as per Toyota's VIN checker, my Tacoma qualifies. My local dealership does not do the service anymore, so I had to drive 6 hours to Penticton to have the service done. I called ahead a week in advance (November 26) to book the appointment, so they know that I am coming. When I arrived on Dec 6th, Clint performed an inspection and confirmed my truck is eligible (well, of course it is!). He then informed me that he has to order in the kit. I was under the impression that they had the kit to perform the work and there would be no delay. I waited another week and received no call. On December 14th, I called Penticton Toyota to ask if the kit came in. Yes it came in but they didn't notify me. They informed me that they could get me in on December 20th, so another week! I told the receptionist that I am from out of town and I need my vehicle. She confirmed it would finished by December 17th. On December 17th I received NO communication. On the 18th, I called and asked for an update. The tech (Jon I believe his name is) said they have not applied the work needed, and it would be done by Monday (December 20th). The work order I received clearly shows to expedite work to have it finished by December 17th as I'm from out of town. I am very disappointed in the turnaround time, and having to spend over $2000 in hotels due to Penticton Toyota taking so long. I wish I would have gone to a different dealership that respected me and my time. They also removed my review from Google! This happened to other people too. Read the other 1 star reviews, this dealership has a pattern of not respecting people's time and providing terrible service to vehicles.

Their receptionist is friendly and helpful when you are on site. However the customer service via email and phone is TERRIBLE, the worst customer service I have EVER HAD and they are often unable to hold to their word. The receptionist has excuses coming out of her nose and usually wont answer calls or reply to messages or email. I will never go back to them. My car runs good after the tune but other than that I still have a bad taste in my mouth when I think about the whole experience. Should have been one of the highlights of my year but they shit on it lol.

They told me they had one of their newer employees work on my car for 20 hours and were not able to distinguish the problem. Once I got my car home and realized the problem was the turbo that had to have the core redone on it I was quoted 250 dollars. After a couple weeks it was returned fully refurbished... and a bill they asked for of 900 dollars. I didn't have much money at the time so I could not afford it and they tried to make amends by giving me the same turbo from an engine they had sitting out back. After returning home to hook up my new turbo I realized I didn't have any seals or oil drain spout. After a couple days waiting for it I was ready to install my turbo. After installing it the car ran good for about 2 minutes before the turbo blew up and I realized these idiots didn't put a banjo bolt for the oil feed line in... just a regular bolt, and with no oil destroyed my fins. After repairing the core myself and waiting for a banjo bolt from Japan to come in I was finally able to get my car running. In the end I spend over 1500 dollars at this store and my car was still not running... it's been 3 years since I've been there and I will never go back. I replaced the knock sensor and the o2 sensor and the car is working perfectly... this place will rip you off, sometimes I still wonder if my hose was really blown or if they were just looking to make a quick buck. I will never go here again.
